Good morning all.
still dark and raining here. It rained most of yesterday afternoon and evening but still quite mild.
No real plans for today but we do want to sort out some stuff in the loft so might take the opportunity to do that. Then I’ll be going over to dog sit this afternoon. It’s working out well with me going there, Dexter seems happy to stay at home and he has the cats to play with! Well, he follows them round and they mainly ignore him 🙂. But they do cuddle up together for a sleep.
Clover, hope things are improving for you both x. Hope everyone else is well.
Daisy, I’ve sent you a pm. 🙂

Good morning, Nanto and Enfys. Nanto - a nice promise of Spring with that graphic today.
Enfys - I've replied.
Another busy day here. OH has got a dental appointment in Bournemouth at lunch time and then the nurse this afternoon, and I'm off to the hairdressers plus a bit of shopping this morning. It would be lovely if it stayed calm and dry - usually it's windy and/or wet when I go to the hairdressers.
I'll catch up with yesterday's chat when I get back.
Have a good day, ladies.

Another dog sitting Granny Enfys
I hope its neither windy nor wet when you emerge from the hairdresser Daisy!
Another golf day for OH. I may walk down to the village as some exercise is good for my knee. I will also print off all I need for tomorrow's Library Group meeting, and send out the agenda.
We have a Tesco delivery due between 4 and 5. That's my day!
Have a good one ladies. Poorly and worried people, sending love to you.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning all. It’s very mild here.
I have just come back from yet another long walk. This time we took a different direction again and we spent a lot of time in a wooded area, standing on a small bridge watching the a brooke babbling over stones and small rocks. All we could hear was the sound of running water and a robin singing in the trees. It was lovely, really calms you.
Its only taken us about 12 months but after a lot of talking about it we have actually decided that we need a new shower. The one we inherited here when we moved in isn’t exactly in the best condition. It’s slow and temperamental and it’s far to high for us to reach . The previous people who lived here must have been ver tall. When I need to clean the shower head I have to stand on a step stool. Hardly safe.
We have one plumber coming this afternoon to give us a quote and another one on Saturday morning, just waiting for another one to get back to me .
Nan2 , a lovely picture
Plant enjoy your craft morning. Hope the dentist appointment goes well.
Good wishes sent out to our ladies going through troubled times
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

That sounds like a lovely walk Mimi, no babbling water near here.
Hope FIL continues to feel better Nanto, pleased to hear he is out of bed.
Had a nice craft get-together, we are all from the same WI, just a small spin-off group. Lots of chat and a bit of craft.

Good afternoon ladies , another busy morning for us ,
Firstly we both had eye tests at 9am , slight change but nothing too bad , we need to choose new glasses but didn't have time this morning ,
While there I went to Wilko then the Fruiters and Sainsburys foor few bits ,
We then went about 10 mile to a picture framer we use , a little independent unit , got there and he's not re opening till 10th
From there we went to MIL's she needed the bed changing , while we were there we popped to Morrisons up the road from her ,
Came home had lunch then to Aldi ,
I then took Flowers to my elderly neighbours , she had a really bad fall a few days ago , had a very bad gash in her eye brow that needed 8 stitches , she has a huge Black eye , big bruise on her cheek , burst her lip , bruised all her shoulder knee and thigh , she's in her 80's so bruises easily but my gosh she's in a state.
She's one of the sweetest people you can wish to meet ,
Nanto hope the sniffles don't last long , have you tried your dress on yet ?
Daisy have you had your hair done to meet the lovely Enfys tomorrow
Plant hope Dentist visit isn't too expensive x
Mimi that sounds like my kind of a walk sounds idyllic
Gem not long to your new car now enjoy your walk xxx
hope Clover is ok and G is improving ,
Sunshine looks like she's having a good time ,
Qwerty hope your enjoying your little break and J is feeling better xxx

Oh Lizzie I am pleased , you can relax now . sounds a bit like white coat syndrome I think lots of us get worked up going for these things ,
I hate going to the Dr's I get so wound up before I go , but I will go gladly to the Dentist
Nanto poor woman got such a shock , she's a very smart straight woman , she was a Ballet dancer for many years and you can still see the poise she has , but the past two days I swear she has shrunk its nocked her confidence , luckily she has 6 sons who are always around looking after her and her husband , never a day goes by when one of them are visitingIm not fat just 6ft too small

These things are sent to try us Lizzie! I bet it will be fine now.
Oma I'm weird like you No fear of the dentist but hate all doctor and hospital appointments.
Your poor neighbour I'm sure she was glad to have the flowers you took her.
OH and team won the golf competition!
We have put the Tesco order away, including my mum's for tomorrow.
A Charlie Bigham fish pie for tea, so just that to pop in the oven later and some veg to do.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Fish pie, my favourite dinner Gemini. Congratulations to OH and her team.
Oma, your poor neighbour, hope she heals quickly and gets her confidence back. I am sure she enjoyed your visit and the flowers.
Oh Lizzie that is reassuring news, you can stop worrying now.
Back from dentist, tooth root filled, I was expecting a large bill but was surprised it was £62. I wonder if that is the National Health price. I am a NH patient but thought it only covered check-ups and metal fillings. Friday I go to see the private specialist dentist to discuss the removal of another tooth. That I am certain will be a big bill. I will be passing around the hat soon.
