Oh dear, too much to catch up on to reply individually - but I have read all your posts.

I didn't get back from the hairdressers and shopping until 1 o'clock. So we had a quick sandwich, and then I sat down feeling really tired. OH's visit to the nurse didn't go well. She decided she couldn't give him the spirograph test because (a) the appointment wasn't long enough, and (b) he's had eye 'surgery' therefore it might be damaging to blow as hard as you need to for the test. She said she'd have to ask the doctor. OH had already said why did the doctor order the test if he couldn't have it and she said the doctor wouldn't know anyway!! This blood test and chest x-rays were fine, but when he asked about this BP she said they weren't on his records yet. Since he took the week's readings in on 30th December, he wasn't too pleased. What an utter waste of her time, an appointment that could have been given to someone else, and OH's time.

Still, we're looking forward to meeting Enfys and Mr Enfys for lunch tomorrow.

Good morning, I think that cycling through Delft and avoiding the students had a lot to do with my high blood pressure! It is absulute chaos at 9am! The students don't follow the rules of the roads, just try to get to the university on time!

Library meeting this morning. I usually drive down, but it's in the village and not far to walk. OH knows my knee and back aren't good atm though and that I have a walk from the bus to my mum's house this afternoon, so has offered to drive me to the meeting, which I was glad to accept.
We got all my mum's shopping on the Tesco order yesterday, so OH will bring that to mum's after golf this afternoon. I will go ahead on the bus to spend some time with her. I presume I will be putting away Christmas things for her.

It has not started well in Grauntie land, for Mr Grauntie anyhow. The main tv in the kitchen diner will not work. I couldn’t give two hoots but he leaves it on in preference to the radio. I’m just praying it’s still under guarantee.
Enjoy your swim Plant, I thought about a swim today but I have a feeling my hair may turn green given the current colour, and I don’t posses a swimming hat.
Gem, I have decided to join the library here as I see I can borrow books on line. I have to go and register first though, hopefully today.

Well I have a free day today apart from Dog and GS1 at tea time but at least I don't have to go out ,

Didn't get to sleep till after 4.30 and was up again at 8 . I think I was just over tired and just couldn't shut my mind down , so I watched rubbish TV

Just had a lovely hot shower and apart from taking the stuff I washed out of the tumble I intend doing nothing , so if I nod off now and then that's fine

The meeting went well and we got a lot discussed. I had already booked the room for the next meeting which will be the AGM at the end of February. Today I provisionally booked two April dates after the meeting, and have now emailed these to members for them to decide which suits them, and we will go with the majority. I'm on a roll

The sun has just come out, it's lovely! Lots of clouds though, so I don't know it will last long.

Good afternoon all.
i have spent the morning cleaning like a mad woman. I assume I was working on ‘nervous energy ‘ as I was waiting for a message from DS2 as he had yet another appointment at the drs . It was for a follow up about his high blood pressure and boarder line diabetes.
He has sent me a message saying he has to go back in 4 weeks time . As he is working where there is very poor mobile connection I will have to wait till this evening before I can get anymore information.
So far I have changed the bedding, cleaned the windows inside and out, put a sausage casserole in the oven and given the bathroom a good clean .

Grauntie is the tv very old? Can it be repaired or will it work out cheaper to actually buy a new one ?

We had our first quote for the new shower yesterday, we have someone calling by tomorrow evening and another on Saturday. We will then decide over the weekend. We don’t always go for the cheapest option, we always take into consideration, reviews , the quality of work etc.

Aqua was good, different teacher this week, Pilates type of exercise, makes a change to have a different teacher. Oma, I haven't played bowls yet because of dental appts. I did pop in to see them all on Monday and made their tea, then it was off to the dentist again. Going to see this specialist dentist tomorrow about the extraction of the split root tooth, perhaps it will be just a consultation but I am hoping he will extract it After Aqua, I popped into DS's, the front door was open, which isn't unusual, I called out, no reply! I am sure the 2 GS's were in because their car was in the drive. The weather was so nice this afternoon when I got back from Aqua, I got the apple trees pruned and put the grease bands on.
