GRANSRUS - TERMS, CONDITIONS AND HOUSE RULES

The Nitty Gritty Bit...

The following Terms, Conditions and House Rules ("T&Cs") applies to any and all parts of this website ("The Site", 'GransRus" including any abbreviation of the name 'GransRus', "the Forum(s), "us" "we" "our"). By registering and/or using the Site, you agree to these Terms, Conditions and House Rules.

These T&Cs apply to content ("Content") created by you and posted/submitted by you. Content includes, but is not limited to: any information created via our website or associated services (for example our Facebook page). By submitting content to GransRus by any method, you grant the owners of GransRus and/or their agents irrevocable permission to store and use that content worldwide via any media and/or modify (for editorial purposes only) that content. You retain copyright to that content, including photographs.

You may not use any content of the website for inclusion in any other publication in any form whatsoever.

Registration

You are allowed one account only.

Please be aware that GransRus is a public forum and you should therefore never use your own name or other identifying information. Choose a Username with care, because we can only change Usernames in exceptional circumstances and any such change is at the discretion of the Admin Team.

We don't delete accounts. If you decide to leave the Forum we will, at your request, close your account but any content you have submitted to the Forum will remain. All content is granted to us with perpetual electronic publishing rights because any content posted on this Forum becomes a part of the Forum, even if you no longer are. You may request an item to be removed at any time, but the Admin Team will decide if and when to remove content from the site.

General

This Forum exists to provide a meeting place for Grandparents to exchange information, ideas, news and anything else that is polite, non-imflammatory, legal and interesting.

Always act respectfully and politely towards everyone else. Remember that the printed word can read very differently from the spoken one. Swearing, offensive and defamatory language is not allowed. Language deemed by us to be inappropriate will be removed by the Moderation Team.

If you think someone is breaking the Rules, report it to the Moderators (Mods) for them to deal with. If you retaliate then you'll be treated the same, regardless of who started it.

The Mods work hard to keep the Forum a happy and safe place to be. Treat them with respect and accept their word as final.

Prohibited Content

Advertising is not allowed, neither is internet piracy, market research, surveys, or anything criminal.

Copyrighted content that you do not have permission to reproduce or distribute is prohibited. By posting on the forum you signify that you own the copyright to the content you post. Note that for text articles you may post/quote a small portion (generally, but not always 10%-20%) of copyrighted material, and you must link to the source (if online) or provide the source (if offline). Anything offensive or defamatory.

Anything that makes money (or goods) from our Forum.

Anything else that just isn't nice.

And Finally...

If you have a problem make a complaint to Admin directly and not publicly on the website. In any situation our decision is final.

We may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without warning.
