      Thank you Gem and Daisy.

A bit of a nip in the air this morning. Although sometimes we have lovely days in September.
Have a good day, whatever your plans are.

        Good September morning everyone. Enjoy

September seems to mark the end of summer (booo), but also has a feeling of a fresh start (dig out the winter woollies and boots!) but for today at least summer is still with us. It's bright and sunny here despite that nip in the air. I'm hoping to get a load of washing done today so sun and a breeze would be perfect.

Oma - that sounds like a fun day - about the same as mine, I think - but I'm glad you're feeling a bit better.

Good morning all, welcome to the new chatbox

I'm not a fan of September. It brings autumn and more significantly the end of summer. Also the children go back to school.
I hope it is a good month for us all, and after all, for some of us it beings a lovely weekend away catching up

Nothing exciting today. We are planning to go over to my mums to help in the house and garden.

              Have a good day everyone.

Oma, your day sounds as exciting as mine.

Sun is shining now,but we had a couple of showers this morning.

We had a roast pork dinner today, but over now and all cleared away.

Plant, you will miss them when they move on Wednesday.

Very windy now after a lovely sunny morning. I am sitting in the sunroom with I pad and knitting, hope I don't have to make a run for it.

I hope your painful hip gets better soon Oma.

                    Good afternoon all.

Getting back to normal after a lovely break away. Always nice to get home.

September is my favourite month, lovely autumnal feel today although it’s still warm but I love the fresh feeling after all the heat. All the washing is done aand ironed and put away. I have tidied up the geraniums in the pots, we’ve had our dinner and now sitting in the conservatory with a cuppa and my knitting, looking out at the garden. Lovely 😀.

P did very well whilst we were away, we did a lot of walking too. Now he is back on chemo so hope he doesn’t have any adverse effects this time. We’re in the last chance saloon ☹️ But only time will tell if it does any good. Taking it one day at a time as per usual.

Hope everyone is well, haven’t had chance to read back yet. Enjoy the rest of Sunday 🌞

Enfys - welcome home. I'm very impressed you've done all the washing and the dreaded ironing! I hope this lovely break has built P up for the next round of chemo and he doesn't get any bad effects. P - wishing you good luck and sending hugs. xx

Gem - I feel the same about September. Sooner or later (hopefully later) this month we'll see the end of summer, darker nights, and the prospect of months and months of winter ahead of us. For years we went away during October, far enough to find some sun, and already I find myself thinking I ought to be looking ahead to a holiday to prepare myself for winter. Not this year though.

                        Welcome home Enfys.

We got quite a bit done at my mum's this afternoon.
Little cat who had started to eat well after being off it last weekend, is now poorly. Her face is swollen and she is drooling a bit and off food and drink, so I suspect a tooth abscess. Why do these things happen at weekends?????

                          Evening All,
It smells all new in here. 😁
Busy day today, our club had a progressive lunch and we were main course hosts. We have just got home from the pudding and coffee venue. It was great fun.
Off for a few days next week, so I must shove some bits in a case.

We're back from the emergency vets ( £210 poorer) She has a tooth abscess, a big one. She's had painkilling and antibiotic injections. Taking her to our local vets tomorrow. He fears she may have a tumour in her throat as well, but as it all happened so quickly I think it's more likely to be infection. He's keen that given her age we don't let things go on too long if there's no improvement in the next couple of days, which we agree with. 19 is a good age. If she has more healthy life all good, but we won't let her suffer if not. I hope tomorrow brings some improvement for her. We will cover the furniture in case the abscess bursts in the night ( which the vet says will be a good thing)

Aww poor baby I did say last week about her teeth. DD, s old cat had same thing unfortunately the treatment didn't work for her she was very poorly and it was kinder to let her go. I hope that's not the case with yours Gem xx
