Enfys - poor you. Even small dogs can be very strong, especially if they choose to take off at the wrong moment. I hope you sleep ok and aren't too stiff tomorrow. Poor P, having to administer first aid when he's feeling poorly too.

Oma - that was a bargain at the Turkish restaurant, and lovely not to have to cook a meal. Although with all that lovely fresh fish in the freezer, you'll be spoilt for choice.

Wee Granny - if you've finished the ironing and are having withdrawal symptoms I could send you some!

Clover - congratulations on your win. It's a nice surprise, isn't it. Getting your washing dried outside is good, too.

It's been nice and sunny here, but still too wet to cut the grass, so I've concentrated on wardrobe sorting. I decided to take everything out and only put back what I love and know I will wear over and over again. But the top looked a bit lonely hanging there on its own!! I ended up with a nice large bag for the charity shop, a bag for the recycling bin and a bag of assorted rubbish! I still need to sort out trousers and another wardrobe with odds and ends in. Then to get to work on t-shirts and other stuff in drawers. Plant - keep me motivated, please! xx

OH has another eye injection tomorrow morning - so an early start for us. He's felt a bit under the weather the last few days and we think it might be from the flu jab which we had at the end of last week.

The meal sounds a good deal Oma.
The day went as well as it could with mum really. After having her feet done she went with me to Asda and had blood taken. She found it a bit stressful, not the blood taking but just being a different place etc. She ended up taking her shepherds pie home as she was feeling anxious being away from home. She ate it as soon as we got in though!

        Our posts crossed, Gem.

I'm glad the day went as well as it could. Your mum is obviously very anxious about being out and about, but it makes it harder for you when you have to arrange things for her. Well done on today. xx

Some eventful 'goings-on'. Enfys you must have gone down with some force. It is a shock. Hope OH sleeps himself a bit better. Sorry but it's too late to reply to all the posts. Sleep well. Night all.😪

Good morning. After the lovely sunshine yesterday it’s raining again!

Didnt sleep much at all last night. I couldn’t lie down so ended up in the armchair all night, ribs still very painful but at least I can breather easier. All the fingers in my left hand are very sore and still bleeding on and off if I bend them....what a state to be in. P is still in bed and I’m on the sofa. Thank goodness there was nothing I needed to do today so am going to take it easy.

Enjoy your shopping trip Clover, I know what you mean about trying to get out and about.

Daisy hope all goes well for your OH and his injection.

Have a good day everyone 🌞

Morning everyone, haven’t popped in for a while .... lovely sunny morning here in Cambridgeshire. Got the washing out. Just sat down with a cuppa. The wood opposite our house is a SSSI and is full of fungi at the moment. The deer are busy, I was lucky to see two enormous stags in there yesterday afternoon, and the Autumn colours are amazing.

                                Good morning all.

Enfys I have just been reading about your antics yesterday, poor you. Oma, is right, even though there is little that can be done about cracked ribs but you do need to have a check up just to confirm that all is well otherwise.
                                How is P today.

Gem have a lovely day in Whitby . I miss the living near the ‘seaside ‘ . Strangely winter time is when I miss it the most. Just wrapping up warm and walking along the beach while the wind blows and the sea is choppy. It’s rather invigorating!
But on the other hand we now live close to open fields on the one side of us and woods on the other and seeing Avo’s picture reminds me I also love the walks through the country side and woods.... I want it all don’t I ?

Had my Tesco grocery delivery a day earlier than usual as I have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow for an X-ray on my hands. OH still thinks the drs will be able to give me a cure for the bent, painful fingers I’ve told him that it’s arthritis and I will just have to get on with it.
Why go then he says , I told him they need to be sure that nothing is missed , just being careful I suppose. Men !

Have a a good day everyone

Bring me sunshine in your smile.
