Curses Oma. As someone said why couldn't they have rung to let you know? Like you said tho' it ended on a positive note. All the journeys to hospital will be exercise in itself. Good news about the baby. You're such a strong woman.

Oma I’m gutted you haven’t got the scan results. Don’t the realise what anguish patients and their loved ones go throu worrying. It’s great that you can find the positives. I hope B can steer clear of ant more bugs or dental problems.
plant thank you. I shall be quite glad to have the weekend off before we start on half term!
DS got back from Gurnsey ok, and he, OH and a neighbour have gone to the pub. I’ve finally managed to get my opinionated teenagers into bed and am finally relaxing with both dogs and a glass of wine. DS has to leave very early again tomorrow. We didn’t go shopping in the end. I was so tired after such a broken night and it was bitterly cold, so we’ll go on our way home tomorrow - all being well!

Baby GS today. I wont be collecting GD from school as it is the Neon Disco after school, cause for much excitement!
Monthly winter quiz night at the golf club tonight, including food, so no cooking here.

Good morning.
Didn’t have much of a chance to visit here yesterday .
Oma how awful not to have the scan results. You psych yourself up and then when you are let down you can’t believe it. Hope you can put it to the back of your mind till you have to think about it.
Yesterday was wet and milder but today has dawned bright but very cold. Off to work soon then hoping to make an apple crumble for the freezer and use up some bread in a bread and butter pudding.Other than that,no definite plans.
Have ve a good day ladies.

OH a lot better thanks Oma. She drove herself to the golf club yesterday afternoon to meet her friends for coffee after they had played. She is well enough to be feeling bored now, so started a jigsaw yesterday!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Just found out this Morning B's Sister has been given a bigger house from the council ,
It turns out its the house I grew up inI lived there for about 15 years , now what a coincidence that is ,
Two of my Sister's children were born in the back bedroom also ,
It was also the house we lived in when my Father died ,so along with good memories it has its sad ones too ,
Cant wait to see inside see how its changed over the years with modernisation etcIm not fat just 6ft too small

We downsized from a big house to the flat where we now live, initially the house was given to a family of 4 , the husband used to go to school with my 2 DS’s when they were little. They moved out and my neighbour in the flat next door to us moved into that house. I now get to pop and have a look round our old home when I visit her . !Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Hi ladies as Daisy said it has been sunny but really cold, think it's the wind chill factor that makes it feel worse. I have squeezed in time to have my hair cut, no more wind blown mess 😀 Going to pack my case later ready for tomorrow, my coach leaves at 1.45 and I arrive at 5pm. Apparently my hubby says the long range forecast means a wet week in Totnes 😕 Never mind I am sure I will be kept busy. Must say I am really looking forward to seeing them, as probably won't see them again until May half term. I have been busy writing lists for B about dogs and their needs etc. Just hope he eats properly, he can be a bit of a list soul at times 😄 I come back next Friday and we have decided to not bothering cooking that day but will have chish and fips from the chippie. Keep safe all while I'm away, hope to log on occasionally. But I know down there the internet can be a bit iffy.Last edited by Libra Gran; 09-02-2018, 05:14 PM."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

I had a nice peaceful day with GS2. He was no trouble at all. I miss GD, but it makes a much easier day when I don't go out for her then sort out tea for them both when I get back!
I'm sure you will have a lovely time Libra, and don't worry about us. We look forward to hearing about it when you get back.
