So pleased that the hospital appointments went well Enfys & Clover. Grauntie ...how are you feeling ~ better I hope? Finished using the hissy thing (don't know who hisses the loudest) on our clothes in preparation for the funeral we're going to tomoro. Been dank & rainy all day. Nan2 I love the graphic."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Morning ladies , Guess what its raining againbut I get to wear my new weather proof coat
Off to do some shopping this morning , GS1 has a big Match today but SIL has taken the day off so we free .
Hubby just ordered a new Garden hose so had to listen to all the ins and outs while having my breakfast ,
Its hard to sound enthusiastic about a garden hose first thing on a morning , but I think I managed he seems happy enough
Have a good day ladies xxIm not fat just 6ft too small

Not raining at the moment, but its looking gloomy.
Oma, we had the same conversation a couple of weeks ago, when hubby bought one of those curly thingy hoses.
Must be a man thing.
i have just been corrected,by the man that knows, it isn't a curly hose pipe thingy,it's an expanding one.Last edited by Nanto2girls; 11-04-2018, 07:05 AM.Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good morning all.
I'm sorry it's a funeral day for you Nana.
The end is in sight for your kitchen work then WG.
It is our day out with GD today. We go out with our friends C and P, in the school holidays when they have their 2 GDs to stay. My GD and theirs only meet a couple of times a year, but get on marvellously.
We are all going to West Yorkshire Wildlife Park. GD has been before and OH and I have been a couple of times, but neither our friends or their GDs have.
Have a good day everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning, everyone.
Gem - oh, that poor waiter must have felt awful. I hope your friend's leather jacket was ok. I've never even heard of black sambuca.
Libra - what is the craft project you're working on?
Clover - I'm so pleased your appointment went well. xx Enjoy Evit this afternoon.
Enfys - also very pleased P passed all his appointments with flying colours.
Wee Granny - it sounds an interesting trip. All the talk about plastic waste in the seas is making me think of ways I can reduce what we use - but it's not easy when everything seems to come in 6 layers of plastic wrapping/packaging. How exciting that your kitchen is nearly finished. Doing the finishing touches is the fun part.
Libra - you had a very productive day - and it all sounds yummy!
Oma - I hope GS1's match goes well for him.
Nanto - I bet you're looking forward to your holiday - somewhere nice and sunny, I hope?
Gem - I bet you will enjoy spending the day with GD, and it will be lovely to see her spending time with friends she doesn't see very often. Have a lovely day out.
Nana - I hope the funeral goes as well as these things can. xx
Plant - fingers crossed your local garage can do the repairs.
I'd love one of those curly lightweight hoses, but OH insists it wouldn't be long enough. Our outside tap is beautifully situated for car cleaning on the front drive but very inconvenient for watering the back garden!

I've had a lovely time catching up with all yesterday's news - I do hope I haven't missed any.
As always, my Tuesday was non-stop. I went over to collect GDs and Cooper. GD2 was dressed and ready to go - very proud of her new skill of fastening the top button on her cardigan. GD1 was still in her PJs and glued to something on tv she wouldn't usually watch (they've only got Freeview at the moment so no Disney channel or Nick Junior). Cooper had regressed into chewy puppy mode and was being very silly, plus wanting to go out into the garden every 5 minutes. So every time he comes in that means shutting kitchen door to keep him off the carpets. Wiping 4 huge dinner-plate paws and anything else that has got muddy, getting him to give me whatever present he's brought in - clumps of grass, leaves, twigs etc. and giving him a treat, which I always make him 'work' for.
OH arrived to trim a bit off two doors which were sticking. His little sander with a dust bag had broken so we attached the sucky up thing to it so it didn't get dust everywhere.
I took the girls and puppy back to our house mid-morning, and, of course, it was raining! Their mum had made up a game for them - they took one piece of paper of each of 3 piles and had to do what it said - so GD2's first go was Dance/like Cooper/riding a dinosaur. Well, that lasted ten seconds! GD2 got Write a story/about Grandma/fighting a bear. Thank goodness I won in her story!!!
Cooper was still fixated on the garden, but at home I just leave the door open and put towels down to blot off the mud, so he was happy wandering in and out.
The girls chose 'dippy eggs' for lunch, so that was easy and I managed to keep them more or less entertained until it was time to take them back home. Quick drive back to ours through floods, mist and rain, and cooked dinner. Then off to dog training, which was late starting and over-ran, as it often does. I got home about 11.30 and realised we had no bread in for today. We still have no bread - I'll make some later."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Nanto ours is a Expandable one we have had it about 3 years it opens up to 50ft , but he who knows best wanted a 75 ft one ,
We have a garden tap in the back garden and one on the side of the house down the ally way so don't really need 75 ft one ,
We also have a huge one on a reel but to be honest its a pain to take out and put back again ,
At least with the expanding ones they more or less go back themselves .
They also curl nicely into a plant pot and are super light ,
Gem I hope the rain hold off for you all but kids don't mind do they as long as they have wellies on
Daisy Children and two dogswho made the most mess ? bet it was Cooper
Had some really good news in the post B's Hep B levels are almost zero , so fingers crossed now his Immune levels will start to riseIm not fat just 6ft too small

Oma - that's fantastic news about B's Hep B levels. You must feel as though someone has turned on the sun. xxx
Yes it was Cooper who made the most mess, ably abetted by Eva!
<thinking> if we had a new outside tap at the back of the house, one of those crinkly hose thingies would be long enough!
