    Good morning everyone.

Thinking of you and the family today Qwerty.
What a busy day Daisy! I hope your am is alright.
I have a clicky jaw too Nana, Zizi and Oma, on the left side.
Sorry you had a bad night Nan2

Later today I will do mums shopping (instead of yesterday, as I had GS1 all day) and take it to her. I will see if she needs any help taking down her tree and decorations. She likes to put them all up herself, over a week or 2, and last year took them all away herself, but she is a year older now of course!
I will begin taking down our decorations and cards today, and leave the tree until tomorrow morning.

    Have a good day

Good morning all, still blustery here.

I am thinking if Qwerty and her family, do hope the twins have a better day today, can’t stop thinking about them.

I did a silly thing this morning....woke up earlier than DH so decided to let him sleep and made my breakfast and cuppa, took into lounge to read my book, nice and peaceful. When he got up he reminded me that I was having a cholesterol blood test today and was meant to be fasting!! Oops, so I’ve had to cancel it and will rebook, luckily it’s just routine so nothing urgent. I really should leave myself a note next time.

Have a good day everyone 🌞

          Morning ladies ,
Enfys I have done that before too ,its so easy done , I now leave a note on the work top by the fridge so when I go for my water I remember that's all I can have
Gem its good your Mum still holds on to some independence isn't it . sounds like she enjoys doing her decs herself

Nanto I had a restless night again ( nothing changes )
went to bed at 10 as I couldn't keep my eyes open ,was back downstairs at 11 till 5.10 when I went back

I cleaned all my work tops down during the night and washed the floors where I could , then when I got up this morning I have cleaned everything that stands still . B kept moving in case I washed him down too
Only thing left is to clean inside of windows and I will do them soon , I will be shattered by tea time again .

Hope the twins are turning a corner today

Good morning everyone. After yesterday's busy day I slept in till 9 am. Then it was a bit of a rush round to get the bins out. We don't do them overnight because the plastic bags get attacked by foxes, deer whatever and make a mess.

So I'm finally sitting down with my morning cuppa.

Nanto - poor you - you could do with a nana nap this afternoon. Good luck with your check up, too. xx

Gem, I know you will be sorry to say 'au revoir' to your decorations. xx Well done to your mum for hers, but as you say, she might like a bit of help with the more difficult to reach things.

Nana - Has that happened to your jaw before? The reason I ask, DIL2 used to have a clicking/popping jaw, and eventually it was linked to her migraines. She had some minor surgery (I can't remember what) and it's been much better since and also her migraines are less frequent and less severe. I thin kit was something to do with teeth not being properly aligned - she had had very bad orthodontic treatment in her teens. I hope yours can be sorted out easily.

I can't stop thinking about the twins either. I hope today brings good news. Sending hugs, Qwerty, even if you don't feel like posting. xxx

Enfys - I've done that before.

It's quite sunny here, and the wind's calmed down. If it was a bit drier I'd be tempted to get out into the garden and do a few odd jobs, but the lawn still squelches when you tread on it!

Oma - you posted while I was typing. Goodness me, you should be exhausted after all that night-time cleaning. It seems strange that you were so tired to start with - although I think you can get 'over-tired'. You desperately need to sleep but can't. I hope tonight is better. x

Qwerty you and the twins are in my thoughts , hope they are feeling better .

Enfys, what are you like? A woman has to have her breakfast I suppose .

Gem its good your mum wants to do some of the decs herself

I don't want to boast but I had a wonderful nights sleep...... Sorry !

It keeps raining here, one minute the sun is out the next its blowing a gale and pouring down with rain.

Will I get around to cleaning the oven today, perhaps if I steer clear of the demon drink . I had water yesterday with a slice of lemon in !
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Hooray for Mimi's good night sleep

Phase 1 of the de-Christmasing of the Gemini household is over. We have taken down cards, fairy lights and decorations, and the outside lights. We also put some bird feeders in the tree in the front garden . I moved the 3 decorative pots which I planted spring bulbs in a few weeks ago, to the front doorstep. Reindeers and little tree gone now, so they fill the space. The 2 indoor Christmas trees are staying up until tomorrow, so I can enjoy them for one more night

Cooked is being cleaned as I type just need to go back to it later after the Oven Pride has done it’s magic.

Had a delivery from Amazon today, it’s bird seed ( non growing type) for the bird feeder we had for Christmas. If these winds ever die down we will set it up .

                        Still Christmas at our house.

I've got an appointment with the dentist first thing tomoro. Boy does it hurt. I'm sure it'll be ok. Probably overstretched it or something. First time it's happened Daisy. Just a thought...do you think the jaw problem is anything to do with talking too much?😂

I'm in for at least 3hrs ironingthis afternoon. Would you like to be my ironing fairy Oma?x

                          Afternoon ladies..

Back to work for me this morning.Couldn’t believe how tired it made me.I sat down after lunch and woke up an hour later. I didn’t even realise I was falling asleep.

Qwerty has been on my mind too. What a nightmare for them.

Hope anyone else who is not well or in pain gets some relief really soon.

Gem You certainly are hanging on to Christmas until the very end.

Our local shop/P.O. had Easter cards on display where the Christmas cards were. and Easter isn’t until April.

Well I have had a busy day. Got up around 7am and worked on my responsibilities for a project called “Open Doors” which is where construction sites open up to the general public. I have five sites opening up, two in Manchester, one in Birmingham and two in London. Those grandmas who would like information it opens for booking on Monday although I expect a lot of sites will not be uploaded for a little while. It is across the country and not just my company. I haven’t got the link to hand but if you want to have a look put “Open Doors Construction 2018” and that should find it. A lot of sites will allow children if accompanied by an adult but some have restrictions on ages. Not all do on site tours but some do complete with PPE.

I had a bit bit of trouble as the photos supplied by sites were a bit too big but I think I have done it now.

So apart from that I have uploaded a lot of volunteering opportunities to our volunteering website; completed some community needs plans which all need updating because of changes in circumstances (of the company); fed shedloads of tea to the carpenter who is replacing the doors and building the cupboard; done some washing and .........sneezed a lot!
