Afternoon friends.

Unusually it has been snowing here all morning,varying between light flurries and quite big flakes. It’s not settling though.We very rarely get snow here.The memorable exception was a good many years ago it snowed so heavily overnight and drifted that we were cut off. The principal road to the village was hedge high with snow.People had to walk virtually on the hedges to get to a shop a few miles away where rumour had it they had bread.

If you or your family are unwell I really hope you feel better soon.

The Tesco delivery man caught his knuckle on our porch so I dutifully supplied a plaster.I did ask if he was allergic.I don’t want to be sued if he has a reaction.

No snow here, but bitterly cold. Had walk round village with OH this afternoon, was quite pleasant once you were out of the wind.
Hospital for me tomorrow. Consultant wants to see me after the pancreas scan I had in November. Wonder what he's going to say!Either the cysts are the same or they're not I imagine!

Coffee and cake out with auntie this morning, then a reflexology treatment this afternoon, so a relaxing day for me. I do have some of the dreaded housework to do as well, of course.

Good morning from me as well!

WG - I hope everything goes well at the hospital today.

We had 6 flakes of snow late last night - or was it 7! It's bright and sunny this morning, but cold. I'm having a slow start after my busy day yesterday, but later on we're off to DS1's and staying until Friday to look after the boys, and dog and cat, while mum and dad are out of the country. I'll take my iPad so should be able to get online.

LG - I don't know who will be more excited - you or the girls. xx Enjoy your morning out with your friend.

Clover - that reminded me of the days when we would walk to work along the hedgetops in heavy snow! We don't get snow like that now - but then we do live several hundred miles further south!

I'm going to take cushion covers off and put them in the was and take the shower curtain down to wash and that's all today , then have a hour reading my Peoples Friend ,
I don't buy any magazines but that one , I have read it for years even when I was young and it was classed as a old ladies mag by my sister

We had snow in the night, just a slight dusting on the grass still, lovely and sunny now. I am planning to go to Beaconsfield to look in a couple of independant dress shops this afternoon, managers are a bit pushy so will make it clear I am only looking today otherwise they will have me in the changing room and not let me out until I buy something. Friday I am going to get my hearing aids tested and there is a very good shop there but mainly mother of the bride type outfits so not hopeful there. I have seen a very nice jacket in the Artigiano catalogue WW this evening, I hope I have lost something, however small.

Hope all the poorlies are feeling stronger, I see on Facebook that Sum and her OH have it now.

Will pop over the road to my friends she was having the funeral director so will find out if I can make it or next, it being half term next week😱 , havnt really had a chat yet with her as lots of visitors arriving but I can do that when it’s all over that’s when she will need me
