Good news about hospital Enfys....enjoy the red tonight!
B isn't letting his stay in hospital get him down Oma! Don't overdo the cake and pop though or his blood sugars will be causing concern!!
Spent afternoon at hospital oh what fun! Doctors running 30-45 minutes late and when I saw one it was for all of two minutes! Cysts haven't changed in 4 years, so obviously not cancerous. Will be seen for scan and clinic appointment then unless something changes in my condition in 3 years time! So good news there and quite a weight of my mind.
Was welcomed home by doggo who indicated he wanted to go out for walk,,,,in the rain! He hadn't bothered D all the time I was out! So coat on and off we went. He made a dash for freedom last night through the hedge at the bottom of the garden. I was NOT best pleased having to scramble through the hedge and the ditch to get him back again. Back on lead today even for walks down the garden!!
Thank you for the card .....beautiful!!
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

        Hello again.
Well our free day didn't go quite as planned! We considered the coast, well wrapped up, but the weather got worse so we decided against that. A little window shopping and lunch maybe? We ended up taking my mum to the surgery to see the nurse practitioner instead. She has complained to me every day since her ears were syringed last Thursday that they are no better. As I have no magic wand I phoned the surgery and they said we could go this afternoon. OH and I at least did manage lunch and look around the Pound Shop before going for mum!
She has antibiotics, I so hope they work!!

Qwerty, your lunch and shopping sounds a little more fun.
Mimi, shopping is even better when we get an unexpected bargain!
Enfys, I'm so glad your hospital visit turned out so positive. Enjoy your wine!
I hope B enjoyed his goodies, Oma
I wonder how Zizi's interview went yesterday?

Just seen your post WG, great stuff!!

Rain rain and more rain here today .

Enfys - that's great news from the hospital. Poor nurse must be run off her feet, but if only people explained why they can't do something it would save a lot of stress. If she'd said to you on the phone I'm sorry I can't do a home visit because both my colleagues are off with the lurgy, you would have understood, and not felt so upset. Still, in a perfect world ......., and the most important thing is that all is going well for P. Good boy, Dexter. At least you know that if you have to you can leave him in your house for a while.

Qwerty the £ shop came up trumps then!!! I'm sure that wasn't where he got your top or his new coat though!! Lunch out, and a ckae for tea - can't be bad, especially on such a miserable day. Three Valentine's, Qwerty - lucky lady.

I don't even dare to think what the glue gun is for!!!!

Our friends called round for tea and biscuits this afternoon, as planned. It was lovely to see them - they don't get down here often enough. Eva was a complete and utter tart cuddling up with first one person then another.

Wee Granny - that's great news. It's a relief for all of your friends here. x Dogs are great at finding the weak spots in fences and hedges! I'm sure they see it as a gift! Still he's got his comeuppance if he now has to stay on the lead in the garden. We've got a spike thingy for Eva when we at the caravan - there are various sorts, but start at about £3 from Pet Planet. It means they can wonder round, but not escape.

Oma - good to hear B is doing well - despite the hospital not having vital medication.

Gem - it wasn't a good day to go to the coast, and I'm sure your poor mum will feel better once the ABs kick in. Ear ache is so painful.

It's rained all day here, but the forecast for tomorrow and Friday is better. I'm hoping by Friday it will be dry enough to do a bit of gardening.

Oma, you must have read my mind. I was thinking about Aggie earlier this week.
A bit of a poor job,the vital medication not turning up.

No speific plans for today, just do the usual jobs.

Good morning all, it cannot rain any more can it, surely we have had enough now. I am planning to strip the bed today and there is nothing nicer than drying the bedding outdoors.

As well as my two bargains I got yesterday another arrived via the post. I had ordered a lemon thyme plant from a online herb retailer. I chose the smaller plant as the large one was twice the price. When I opened it I could see I had been sent the larger plant along with a note explaining that they had sold out of the small plant and they sent me the bigger one at no extra cost to me. Thinking about it , the way the day was going I should have brought a scratch card .

Oma , hope B is able to come home today.

                            Libra how is DD

Qwerty, three Valentines cards, are you sure you didn’t receive some of ours ? 😉

Daisy I would like to get some gardening done, this manure won’t put itself on the garden beds you know .

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

                              Good morning all.

Oma, and Nan2 , Aggie has been looking in regularly, I hope she will have time to say Hello soon
I hope your DD feels better today Libra.
It would have to be a lot drier than it is here for you to get any gardening done Daisy! No golf for OH this afternoon, course waterlogged, so closed.
Mimi, you are on a lucky streak!
Let's hope Mr Oma is home today.

My mum has no ear pain, thanks for those who were concerned! It just feels full etc. I'm afraid she forgets she is in her 90th year, expects everything to work perfectly and if not someone should sort it out immediately! It did look a little red inside the nurse said, so we are trying these antibiotics in the hope it will improve things.
This afternoon when I take her weekly shopping to her I am dropping her off at her best friends house for a couple of hours, which will do them both good.
I will shop for my sisters birthday presents while mum is there, and maybe something for me as well

                              Have a nice day!

                                Good morning, ladies.

The headline news here it - it's NOT raining! The ground is very wet though, so please could we have a nice drying breeze today so I can get out in the garden tomorrow? It's not much to ask - pretty please.

I've been wondering about Aggie, too. I do hope she and J are ok.

Mimi - never mind a scratch card - you should have staked your home on a roulette table! But not today, just in case the luck is with someone else now.

We ordered our new mattress a few weeks ago. Delivery was quoted as 3-6 weeks, so yesterday OH sent an email just asking if they had a delivery date. They sent a lovely email back saying they were a bit behind with orders due to high demand, and giving us £45 off. It isn't often that happens.

Oma - I hope B will be home today. Just make sure you've stocked up on his cakes, pop etc - he'll be hungry!

Enfys - I hope the red wine did the job last night and you got some sleep. xx

OH has some paperwork to do for DS2 and DIL. Otherwise we've got nothing planned apart from walkies in the paddock for Eva. If we leave it till lunch-time it might have dried up a bit. I keep promising I'll tidy out the airing cupboard - it's full of junk, and I know I'll be much happier when it's done. It could become the place to visit in our house! Someone give me a kick up the proverbial and I'll get on with it!

                                Have a good day everyone.
