Enfys, I saw the moon at 5 or 6am. It was huge, bright and amazing. It didn't look blue though.

As I was up till 4.30 I saw a beautiful moon it was right above our house very bright like a torch but I didn't see any blue I'm afraid , maybe you needed a telescope ?
Brian still has some tooth left in the gum and a nerve is dying so he has to go back and have it opened up again to remove that bit poor man .

Just to put your minds at rest.....a blue moon is called that if there is a full moon twice in one month! Hence the saying 'once in a blue moon'! Nothing to do with the colour I'm afraid. Supermoon because it was nearer the earth than usual! It was supposed to be red at some stage and have an eclipse as well, but you could only see that in certain parts of the world.....not in UK! It was very bright here.

Plant, the red kites round your way are fantastic to watch aren't they? I love watching them when at DD's.

Admin..I sent a PM to you. Hope you've found it.

Sunny but cold here. Waiting for washing to finish then I can get it hung out for a while.

Take care you poorly ladies...and OHs.

Believe you can and you're halfway there.

WG, thank you for the Blue Moon info! Off to look for PM now.
          Oh poor B Oma

Well,I decided we were not going to see my sister as I don't feel up to either the driving or socialising, and don't want to pass anything round. Them before I got round to phoning her, mum phoned me to say she had a bit of a tummy bug so didn't want to go. So, I will do mums shopping (locally as I can't face going round the big Tesco near to her) and prescription and see how she is.

WG, I can't see any PM in the Admin inbox, or mine. Did you perhaps send it to Daisy? We can both see Admin messages, but not each others (or anyone elses!)

Got O and S today. Had O overnight, he is teething (again) his little cheeks are red. Just given him some Calpol as he woke during his nap crying. Poor little man. They both have to wake soon, as we have to drive 20 mins to pick T up from school. Busy day but off to the pub for dinner!

                Afternoon ladies.
Oma, poor B , that must be painful. Oma sending you a little hug on this painful day

Gem and Daisy how are you today.

Its youngest DS's 41st birthday today even though his due date was 17th January, boy was I one fed up pregnant lady back then !

We had to take our cat to the vet this morning. For the past 4 weeks or so she has been ...how can I put this tastefully.... making use of the loop pile rug in the spare room as a toilet . This was only happening at night and we thought as she is getting older perhaps she couldn't wait till she was outside so we started bringing in her litter tray in before we went to bed. For a while that was ok but the she started using the littler try AND my rug .
It appears she has colitis and she has lost a little weight. The vet thinks because of her past history having treated her several times with stress related issues she says this is stress related also . She has prescribed her some special food that will relax her tummy, and calming powders to sprinkle on her food. ( Might try some of t that for me )

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY to our gorgeous Granddaughter. (Not sure if there's another place to put this).

Sorry to hear about all the illnesses, stresses & strains. I'm just left with the wracking cough & tiredness now. Pleased to hear all the good news though. Isn't that just life...full of ups & downs. Dark & pouring it down here.

I was really interested to hear about how the blue moon saying originated. I'd love to hear more if anyone thinks it needs a new thread.

Poor Brian, when that piece of tooth is removed I hope that is the end of it and it will start to heal Oma.
You are a busy GM Oma, hope the little one cuts those teeth soon. My GGS is over 10 months and he hasn't any teeth yet.
How about a coffee next time you visit your DD, WG

Mum was Ok thanks Plant. She was so happy to hear about my mammogram result that everything else faded into insignificance I think!
I did her shopping and stayed an hour or so and had a cup of tea with her.

I hope the treatment does the trick Mimi, for poor puss's sake and yours!

Avo, I really sympathise with the looking after teething little ones, and having to wake them from naps to do the school run!

                            A belated hello from me.
We went to Silver Screen cinema this morning to see “Dunkirk”,not really my cup of tea but OH enjoyed it. Then we bought a few bits and pieces and after coffee and cake came home. Quick pizza I think tonight .

Just read the Chatbox posts and there seems to be a lot of stress and illness around. I hope for everyone tomorrow is a better day.One bright spot is Gem’s news (Apart from her feeling poorly of course )

I tried to get on here earlier but had no connection, and now I'm so tired I just want to go to bed. I'm so sorry - I'm not ignoring any of you, but my head is stuffed with cotton wool and my eyes are streaming so I can hardly read.

Sleep well everyone. I'm sure I'll bounce back tomorrow.
