Well we back from seeing the Nurse he had his first two jabs while we were there , I was disappointed it wasn't the baby clinic I could have had so much fun with that one

Speaking to our Practice nurse today and she said she thinks this Flu bug is subsiding , she has gone from seeing up to 20 people a day with it to a couple a day so seems a good sign .

Went to Dunelm after Dr's it was packed and only two checkouts open , the queue was rather long , I asked someone why only two on was told the rest had gone to lunch ,
Fair enough but there were floor staff standing around doing nothing they could have opened up a couple more

The day started off wet,but once that had cleared up,the sun came out.

Bathroom all finished,just need a couple of new things.
We were going to go for them this afternoon,but ended up with visitors.
Will probably be saturday now,when we go shopping.

Well this morning we put up the blind in the bedroom and I stocked the new wardrobe. How many pairs of black tailored trousers does one woman need? Several it appears...... same with jeans, mostly black and grey. I tried to be brutal and fill a bag with charity shop clothes but think I may not have been brutal enough.

We collected the new car and I am happy with it, took a mile or so to get used to changing gears and also using both feet and to get used to the engine noise as my company car is silent but it will do nicely. Should be easy to park (even without sensors). We do have to buy a sat nav as I gave the old one away but we can hold off on that for a little while. I will take her out every now and then so she doesn’t get lonely waiting to become the main car. One of my colleagues is bleating on about how we should be able to keep our cars and phones for a month or so after redundancy but I don’t see the point. It is over, finished, time to move on. I have a personal phone and let’s be honest even if I didn’t they are not hugely expensive as long you don’t want the latest Apple iPhone or something..

Tomorrow I have a colleague coming for coffee and biscuits in the morning, was having lunch with dil Wednesday but she has that awful cold going around so we are rescheduling until next week but Thursday I am meeting with the person who was my line manager from my secondment for a catch up so I am a lady who lunches this week! Better not get used this leisurely lifestyle!

Well we arrived early and I was seen straight away so were on our way home before the traffic got too bad. It wasn't too bad at all, a bit more painful on the operated side, but nothing unbearable. The woman doing it however was not nice. No smile, no small talk, no reassurance. She should get another job!

Clover, I can understand you feeling upset when you have to continually tell G about things that are going to happen and then have to deal with the consequences. G is such a gentle, agreeable, interesting man it must be so upsetting to see his reasoning deteriorate. I hope your son will soon feel bet but they didn't have my size so have ordered it ter.

I am not having much luck finding something to wear for the wedding early April. Spent most of the day in JL with GD1 but didn't find anything. Straight dresses are not any good for me, the top is just right but not the lower half. Saw something there but they didn't have it in my size so I have ordered it on-line, fingers crossed. GD bought a nice black jumpsuit for the hen do. Little black dress is the theme, well a jumpsuit will have to do. We called in to see baby E on the way back as GD1 hadn't seen him recently. He is constantly chewing his gums so teeth can't be far away.

Evening ladies,Clover poor G and it must be frustrating for you as well,hope his appointment went well and he was fine, Gem I hate mammograms having small boobs somehow having to get them on that plate is so,so painful.Your nurse sounds a real charmer I walked the dogs just to the nearby park today as I wasn't feeling 100%,not the lurgy but I have twisted my neck awkwardly somehow,maybe when I was mountaineering to clean the top of the kitchen units got told off for that one by OH. I do hope Daisy's OH and Plants SIL are on the mend.Apparently the weather is turning cold again,may kill off some of these horrid bugs. Must pop over to YEO and catch up on the latest.
