Good morning, from a very white Yorkshire!

Qwerty, I'm pleased to hear that you got the botox done. That must be a relief,
Oma is right Nana, your photo comes up as an invalid file.
Our Tesco delivery came yesterday Mimi, but it wasn't quite as snowy as it is today. It is bin day today. We all have our wheelie bins out, but I will be surprised if they come.
Enfys we are also in bed with a cuppa looking at the white stuff.
I'm glad you are taking up SILs offer, Oma, and anyone else if you get an offer, take it!
Nan2, like me has the older generation to see too, so we have to go out!

Keep safe everyone, and think positive thoughts about Spring!

      Moaning.....I’m still moaning......moan, moan, moan.
The upside is I got two boxes of fabric sorted, found some to use now and had a happy afternoon going through my patterns. Ready to sew today. 😆👍🏻Supposed to be out for lunch but I’m a bit chesty today so I will stay in one temperature.
I hope you are all bearing up and keeping cosy. Plant has beaten me at scrabble, I must try harder. 😑.

Morning ladies , I decided to walk to the shopping centre after all , it wasn't too bad on the compacted snow but the deep soft snow was hard going ,
The wind is biting cold though ,
Went to Argos and Sainsburys didn't bother going anywhere else anyway no one was open it was only 8.30 .
Snowing still SIL wasn't happy I walked over said what if I had fallen , he had a point but I'm 62 not 102

Good morning everyone. I'll keep this short because, as usual, our internet connection is driving me mad. Grrrrr ..... If it was trudging through 3 feet of snow I could understand it!

We've finally got a few flakes of snow - certainly not enough to excite Eva, who sniffed round the garden and came back in looking very bored! We've no plans for today (it seems to be a quiet week) but I might start sorting out all the stuff I took our of the airing cupboard last week - or was it the week before!

Oma - your SIL is right. Sixty-two year old bones can break, and if they do it will hurt! Take care. xx

GM - have a good moan and then get sewing. What are you going to make?

Qwerty - I hope you're feeling ok today after your Botox.

Stay warm, and take care, ladies. xx

Just heard that GS has got his first choice secondary school. So pleased. Now they've jsut got to find a house reasonably near the school! They move into a rented one later this month.

Oma, a friend in Central Scotland had thunder and lightning yesterday as well as snow! Must be a northern thing!!

Glad you got your botox Qwerty!

Snow still falling here and temperature still minus 3!!Had planned a walk but have given up that idea now I've felt how cold it is.

Another day to get on with getting rid of rubbish and old paperwork me thinks!

LG< good to know that you and DD's MiL are singing from the same hymn sheet ( as the saying goes) regarding DD. Shame you can't take the dogs though. Not long until the Easter holidays now.

                Keep warm everyone.

I was hoping to take Shiloh out, but he who must be obeyed, forbade it. Because I have COPD extreme weather conditions can cause a bad flare up,and I do not want to go back on steroids. ADd MIL and I are making regular phone calls as girls school is closed, SIL cannot take time off, but fortunately is finishing early today. I phoned at 10 girls were playing T up, wouldn't let me speak to them, same for MIL. So we will just sit and worry 😧😧 .

LG - it's such a worry when you aren't on the doorstep. I hope the girls have calmed down and are being good for their mum. It's a pity SIL had to work today, but the weather down there is looking bad now, so hopefully he will be home early. Just a thought - is it worth SIL asking their landlord if you can take 2 well-behaved dogs there given the exceptional circumstances and how much the family needs your help? If he/she says 'no' well fair enough, but it's worth asking. You definitely shouldn't be going out in the cold and risking making yourself ill! xx

All our family are home because of the weather. Fortunately DS1 got back from Denmark before it got too bad.

I got my panto tickets, took mums shopping to her and had a cup of tea and chat with her, and am home now. Our road is very snowy still and you have to drive slowly, but the main roads are pretty clear. The refuse men haven't made it so the whole village is full of wheelie bins waiting to be collected.
I am going out later to meet DD3 at 6pm, for meal then the theatre. I was going to ask OH to take me and collect me, but as the roads are clear and it seems to have stopped snowing, I think I will drive myself.
