Oma, I have had dry socket twice. I kid you not it is agony, and makes you feel rotten. B has my every sympathy. That funny tasting paste they pack it with does seem to work though.

Every day feels like a week when a baby is overdue doesn't it? DD3 was 2 weeks late (and induced, heaven knows when she woud have arrived under her own steam!)

Get well soon B. Tooth pain is awful. My OH went to drs this morning. His hands are numb when he wakes up. He's being referred to bone dr. Roll on sunny days.

A busy day here, but glad to have DH back home safe and sound.

Poor B, Oma, a dry socket is so very painful. I do hope it doesn’t last long.

edited: it’s 8 o’clock and we’ve just had a call from one of the doctors from our surgery checking up on P and confirming his ongoing treatment for the Prostate! Can’t quite believe it.

Enfys - I be you are really tired now, but it must be such a relief to have P home. I think quite a few doctors phone patients in the evening these days. DS2's always phones him around 8 o-clock at night, but that is very good co-ordination between the hospital and the surgery. It gives you extra confidence doesn't it. P is being very well looked after.

I'm feeling a lot better, but just can't shkae off the tiredness - another early night is on the cards.

Plant your poor SIL - I'm so sorry to ghear he's still not back to full strength. He must be very fed-up.

I'd never heard of a dry socket - but poor B. It sounds awful.

Nana - I hope your OH doesn't have to wait long for the referral - that must be very uncomfortable.

Nanto - glad the snow didn't stick.

OH is on the mend, seeming quite a bit better. She had cancelled today's golf match as she is obviously not ready for that yet. She hasn't been out for days so will have to get back to things slowly over this week. Last night she didn't feel up to going out and to be honest didn't look too well. I left her tucked up with TV remote and puzzle books and a baked potato with tuna! I enjoyed my evening out, although we didn't win the quiz. It was fun one though!
GS1 day today. I haven't seen him for 2 weeks as I wasn't well enough to look after him last week.

Good moaning all. What a lot of poorlies still. I am sending healing thoughts to all whilst enjoying a cuppa in peace before OH gets up. He went to a club dinner last night and they had a comedian. When I collected my car load they were all still laughing so looking forward to a day of jokes. Apparently the comedian managed to be very funny for 45mins with no smut and no swearing. Quite rare these days I think. Time for a second cup. Have a good day all.

A chilly morning here ladies, nothing planned except the usual dog walking. I must do some ironing before the pile touches the ceiling. Glad S is feeling better, hope Mr Enyfs had a good night's sleep back in his own bed. Daisy hope your feeling refreshed after some early nights. Plant how is SIL now?. Oma hope B's mouth is less sore. Counting down to visiting DD and family, can't wait for some cuddles with the girls, trying to make it a surprise when we face timed M asked what day I was arriving. So a little white lie because I said next Tuesday or Wednesday 😸 I arrive Saturday 10th.

Morning ladies , Snow is quite heavy hear , been to Sainsbury's wanted a quick in get what I wanted and out , It never goes to plan we must have bumped into the world and his dog !!!
Every time we just got away and we bumped into someone else
B had a easier night , the paste is horrible though it smells like Detol so must be awful to taste all the time but its doing its job that's the main thing ,

Glad everyone is starting to feel better ,S was better off staying in Gem no point if your feeling not quite right she wouldn't have enjoyed herself ,

Got out of shower this morning and was wrapping a towel around my hair when I looked in the mirror and discovered a huge Bruise an my forearm ,
Yesterday I slipped in the kitchen and managed to catch myself on the edge of the work top , it hurt gave it a rub and thought nothing more of it ,

Its all scratched and black but not hurting so that's why I didn't look at it again and I had a long sleeved blouse on so didn't see it ,
Had a prod at it( as you do ) but its fine Bruise like a peach these days ,

It has snowed on and off here for hours now. Very light pretty gently falling snow which won't settle (It had better not!!) I will be heading to DD's soon as she told me the roadworks are causing delays again. It has been no problem for the last couple of weeks so I have only been allowing an extra 10 minutes or so. Best allow longer today!
OH is having an afternoon in the warm.
