Should have been at dentist's this morning, but got a phone call to say his flight had been delayed and he wouldn't be there. So, am having work done on Friday instead. Dentist works between here and Sweden....must be money in the teeth business! So managed to get to my copperfoiling course and have now just got to solder all the bits together! That'll be something to look forward to next week!
Enfys, when we lived in Australia we visited Ayres Rock and I was lucky enough to climb it. Don't think you can do that nowadays. There was a visitors' book for signing right at the top. Fantastic experience in a fantastic country. Hope your GD enjoys it.
Hope all you poorly people are starting to feel more like yourselves again.
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

I’ve had a busy day so far, lots of little jobs but they all take time.Brought all the bird feeders in and gave them a good scrub.Hope the birds appreciate them.
I was going to do the RSPB garden bird watch on Sunday but the weather was so awful no self-respecting bird would have poked it’s beak out.I only saw two or three birds all day. Hardly typical .
It started off raining here but the sun came out intermittently about lunchtime. We went for a walk to the PO and along the cliffs but the wind was freezing We didn’t linger long looking a the sea and came home for a hot cup of coffee.

Enfys I’m pleased to hear OH is still progressing and Oma I’m feeling really sorry for B.Poor man. He must feel awful.

Daisy I hope you have taken it easy and the same goes for you Gem.

Clover, apart from cleaning bathroom and downstairs loo and making some soup (and pondering over a Backroom issue with Daisy) I have had an easy day.

I'm sure the birds appreciate your effort

Back as promised, did some food shopping highlight of my day was buying a new shower curtain, can someone tell me why they are in a matching bag, surely when you put them up you never put them back in the bag🤔 had a nice meal in a nice hostelry, I had curry I can never have it at home as he who must be obeyed never eats it 🙄 OH had f/ chips we managed with our little stomachs to get a pudding down us . Before going there and out shopping I don’t think I have ever felt so b****y cold it was ice cold wind , sleeting and proper snow we were perished when we got there.

Clover you must surely be in the CF club with me and Oma cleaning the bird feeders marvellous

Enfys that man is amazing soon he will be walking out of the hospital.

Daisy although you may not feel too poorly the coughing and such does tire you , hope you took it easy today

Qwerty I only cleaned the feeders because they were not in a good state I should have done them ages ago. I bet you and Oma would do them every day.

Qwerty - you do live dangerously - a new shower curtain! My word!!! When we eat out I nearly always have something we don't have at home (like a curry) because OH doesn't like it!

Clover - you were brave to face the wind off the sea today! It's been quite chilly here too, but the window cleaner came at lunch-time and it looks a lot brighter in our house now. Unfortunately, it also helps to show up the lackadaisical (see what I did there!) housework.

Gem, I'm glad you're feeling better - your brain was definitely more on the ball than mine this afternoon!

WG - I've heard of doctors doing locum work in two countries, but not dentists. I hope you get a discount on your bill for the inconvenience.

I've definitely got a cough and cold! I have certainly felt better than I do today, but tomorrow OH has got an appointment for a hearing test at 9.30, so it will be an early start for us! I haven't done much today - changed the bed, and a couple of loads of washing, but it doesn't feel as though I've had much of a rest, so I'm off for an early night.

Daisy get yourself to bed, an early night is needed! I am heading that way too. I am much better but still not right and this damned cough is sooo annoying!

                  Good night all, sleep well!

Snap Clover, I cleaned my bird feeders today and rearranged them to try to keep the magpies and pigeons off the fat balls. After I had finished the little birds all came rushing out to feed. The robin looked at me as if to say where is mine, forgot they along with the blackbirds are table feeders and hadn't provided for them. We had about 20 Red Kites wheeling around this afternoon, I think one of our neighbours feeds them although we are told not to feed them.

Hope the poorly ones ones are going to feel better tomorrow

                          Good morning everyone.

Yes, get back to bed Daisy and rest, do not do any forum work. or any other work!!

I feel ropey, but I haven't had anything to eat or any painkillers yet. I'm sure I will feel more human once I have.
I am taking my mum to see my sister this afternoon, and doing mums shopping on the way. I shall keep my distance from everyone..

Oh Poor Daisy and Gemini, you must feel rotten Daisy to need to go back to bed.

I forgot my hearing test appt. this week, need to phone today and apologise. Aqua as usual for me today, then I have a parcel to return to JL, clothes I ordered for the wedding, no good so they have to go back. Ya I have fooled the pigeons they can't reach the bird food now as I have removed their perching place. I don't think I will have stopped the squirrel, we shall see when he wakes up. I wouldn't mind if they ate just the peanuts.

Hope you both get better soon, Daisy and Gem. It’s very cold here this morning and I am dog sitting so have company. SIL dropped Dexter off on his way to work so I have a shadow with me 😀. He’s good company and makes me get up and go out into the garden every now and then even though it’s freezing cold.

Did anyone see the super moon last night. It was very clear here and it did look big but I didn’t wait up to see the super blue blood moon or whatever it was called 🌚🌓🌗. I dare say ther will be lots of footage on TV at some point,

Have a a good day everyone and stay warm.
