Morning it is a quiet one here, hubs left for Devon at 4.45 😮 It's just me and the fur babies today. Weather is dry hooray so might get some washing out. Enyfs hope hubby soon improves the infection is a set back, but fingers crossed he will soon be home. Clover glad your OH is on the mend. And Daisys OH as well. Hows your SIL plant after his relapse. So many poorly folk, roll on spring 😍

SIL was dressed but feeling rotten still yesterday evening and GD1 has just been in, she said he was up but has gone back to bed. We are supposed to be going out to tea (Christmas present for his mother and me) it is in a hotel in London and he is supposed to be driving us all there, must suggest to DD that they re-book it if they can.

Warfarin clinic for me this morning, I do hope the blood result is good, they keep having to change the dose and I have to go more frequently. GD2 wants to drive my new car again so she is going to drive me there and then on to WW to do my shopping. I can see I am not going to get a look-in with this new car.

Is your OH staying overnight Libra? I am sure your DD will enjoy his cuddle.

Looks like another sunny mild day. Hope Enfys has some good news later.

Plant you are right, I think Daisy and I could both do with a break. This is the only time I wish DD1 still lived in Scotland, so I could go and visit her for a couple of days!

We were up early today as our hairdresser was here just after 8.30. We are meeting friends for a meal tonight, but no plans in between as yet. I feel a need to get out and do something, but don't know what!

I hope poorly ones are recovering, especially Mr Enfys.

Good morning, ladies. I fully expected to bounce back this morning, but I'm not quite there yet, so please forgive me if I've missed anything.

Gem - I did get a good night's sleep, but still feel a bit groggy and tired! I can understand why you're feeling low. If you Mum has been negative and a bit moany again, it can drag you down. I find it really hard to keep my usual optimism in the face on continual negativity. And of course, everything is worse when you're tired. You're right - we both need some fun. The last two weeks have been hard going. Enjoy your meal tonight.

My OH is slowly improving. He got up at lunch time yesterday and I think havingGD2 and Cooper around cheered him up. It cheered Eva up, too. She has been very miserable with OH being ill - and of course, I've had very little time to spend with her.

Clover - perhaps you should plan an occasional trip out on your own occasionally. We all need a bit of time to ourselves.

Plant - your poor SIL, he's having a rough time. Belated birthday wishes to him - I hope he'll celebrate when he's better, and hope you can rearrange your outing too. What a nuisance having to keep going back to the Warfarin clinic, but it's good they keep a close eye on you, young lady! I think you've just acquired a very willing chauffeur with your new car.

Avo - safe journey home today. It's sunny here at the moment, so fingers crossed it stays that way. We can't do much about the temperature though.

Nanto and Libra Gran - Nanto's wallpaper and LG's cushion would both look great in our living room - just the right colours.

Cooper was tired after his day with us yesterday. He fell asleep in the car on the way home, and climbed straight on to the sofa and went back to sleep there - I had to wake him up for his dinner. He wolfed it down as usual and went straight back to sleep!

I'm going to try and get some housework done - it's over two weeks since I did anything properly and it shows!

Oma, dad would have you there every day,if he had his way. I used to go every monday and every thursday.
My sister in law used to go every monday and thursaday as well. He changed her monday day to tuesday a few months ago.
He said it's no good both of us going on the same days. i didn't mind changing to friday.

Plant, hope SIL starts to feel better soon.
Enfys,hope the antibiotics have kicked in.

We have had sunshine all day. I even went to the fish shop without a coat. mind you, i was in the car.

New Bedside drawers in place , love them for the price

We slept on the mattress on the bedroom floor last night and I woke at 5.30 watched some BBC News in bed, went to the bathroom and decided to spend a little while watching TV in bed. I woke up at 20 to 8 and the decorator was due at 8. He came on the dot. Was hoping he would be finished today but the walls need another coat of paint. This is my fault as last time we decorated in there I insisted on a dark burgundy with a Sheng feui (nit sure thst is the right spelling) wash over it so it was sparkly and brought us love and happiness in the bedroom. Didn’t work on the “love” front if you know what I mean! So anyway he is coming back tomorrow morning.

Husband was supposed to be off tomorrow and Sunday but has now told me he is working. I could brain him truly I could. I haven’t seen anyone but workmen all week and I would like to have some proper company. I think I might be missing work already.

My new course is ready to start so I will have a go at that tomorrow.

Hi folk bringing up the rear, catching up with housework , lovely ironing and such, popped over the road to my friends whose OH is terminally ill, some of her familyare over from Australia I was hoping to see her great grandson whose just gone one but they have gone to London, John just slept on the settee the whole time I was there, my friend says that’s all he does now but he’s not in pain as such nothing that paracetamol won’t cure, I feel more for her she only weighs about 7 stone and very tired

Food shopping this afternoon buying goodies for twins we have them tomorrow from 10 .30 ish in the morning and overnight don’t know what time on Sunday they are picking them up I will be enquiring 😀 Eldest g\d is poorly with this cold bug going around shocking cough she was having a sleepover at her friends straight from school she was desperate to go to school but mummy said she was shaking and a bit dithery so she didn’t let her go, this has devastated her it’s her first sleepover at her friends , their will be other times but try telling that to a 7 yr old 😢

I have got an appointment for Botox February 28th so I’m a happy bunny well if you think having 10 injections in your bladder is happiness but you know what I mean

Nice bedside tables Oma I miss not having any our fitted wardrobes fit right up to the bed so have to put everything on the floor 😕 an alarm clock on the table with you sleeping habits !!!

Enfys what a nuisance about the infection it seems most people seem to get them in hospital but he’s in the best place to get it sorted hope his demeanour improves.

Am trying to catch up with all your news and chat, when you miss a day or day it’s surprising what goes on!

I must try and get out to the supermarket tomorrow morning early, don’t need much only things like bread and milk and a few odds and ends. I am trying to keep busy but not much is getting done. I will be so pleased to see DD when she gets back home on Monday.

My DD has cancelled the tea for Sunday, they gave you 48 hours, she will fix another date when SIL gets better.

Spoke to him at lunchtime Oma as I was out with the dogs and came home to 4 missed calls.Missed one of his train links so had to wait for the next one,it's not an easy journey 4 trains.Anyway called them and he is fine,just said he was taking DD out for a walk and chat this afternoon. No doubt I will get chapter and verse when he comes home.I am missing him though,think the dogs will be in with Mum tonight, my bodyguards.
