Qwerty, so sorry about your friend. Life is so sad sometimes.
I hope Mr Enfys is progressing, B's tooth is giving him less pain and all poorly people are if not recovered, getting there!
I love fish and chip day Nan2!

I have GS2 today then GD from school. GS plays very well alone just pottering, and coming for the odd cuddle and story, so is not hard work (apart from at mealtimes Let's not go there!!) OH is here all day, so I can leave GS napping and go for GD on my own.
We are booked to go to Pizza Express tonight. I bought some Tesco vouchers ages ago which run out today. If I don't feel up to going out we will just have to waste them, but hopefully I will.

A very bright, still morning here so,far. The sun is shining a little bit, it all looks lovely. My primroses are doing well, big fat buds appearing and I noticed new growth on my climbing roses. Spring is on her way 💐

Off to meet friends for coffee this morning ,then ironing after lunch two lots of washing done and the tumble going so get them out of way ,

Josh had his first training with Sunderland Academy last night , he has his first match with them on Sunday against Sheffield ,
6 weeks trial then they will decide weather to keep him on , told him not to worry if they don't its only the first step and Newcastle said if it doesn't work out with Sunderland they want him ,

Good morning everyone, and thank you all for your concerns about me. I slept like a log (I usually do, and I know I'm lucky!) and woke up this morning feeling less sneezy and coughy, but still like a limp rag. The sensible bit of me says 'take it easy today', the louder bossier bit of me says 'get on with it and stop being a wimp'! We'll see how the day goes.

Qwerty - last night I was too tired even to say how sorry I am about your neighbour. I can imagine how you feel. Sending hugs to you and his wife. xxx

Oma - Good luck to Josh - but what a lovely position to be in - two famous teams interested in him!

Enfys - it's still nice here - let's hope it lasts all day, but it is quite cold.

Gem - I hope you are taking it easy as well today. It will be easier not having to take GS2 when you collect GD from school. Pizza would be nice, but if you're too tired you'd be better staying at home in the warmth.

Nanto - I could just fancy fish and chips tonight, but I know OH won't want them! Can I come and join you?

Lovely and sunny here, free day for me as I shopped yesterday, garden not drawing me yet, bit cold, I might go to a couple of local independent ladies dress shops, still looking for something to wear to this wedding, although I did pick something up in JL, haven't tried it on yet.
You sound really poorly Daisy, look after yourself and I hope you feel up to going out this evening Gemini.

Nan2 we had our fish and chips yesterday but they weren't from the chip shop which I think is the best way to have them apart from eating them at the sea side whilst walking along the prom that is!

Its very cold here today but its dry so that's a bonus .OH is waiting for his new log lawn edging to arrive and I am waiting for Tesco , whats the betting they will arrive at the same time?

DD just rang , been back to Dr as she still isn't well , they sending her on Monday for blood tests on her Thyroid and for Diabetes also anaemia , I'm hoping its not Diabetes that will be 4 generations with the blooming thing ,
I'm guessing its Anaemia , she,s so thin and tiny , gave her another week off and she's taking it so she must feel poorly or she would go back to work .

Jacques Vert are very expensive and are mainly straight fitted dresses with little jackets and the skirts are a bit short for me. I also have a problem with straight dresses as I need two different sizes but I will pop in and have a look at them but feel they are more for the mother of the bride/bridegroom. The dress and jacket I came back with from JL isn't any good, I think I have exhausted that shop now.

Plant does it have to be a dress ? you can get some lovely dressy Pants Suits , My Sister wore one for her Grandsons wedding in the summer looked lovely and she said she felt so much more comfy as she isn't a dress person ,

After an hour in the dentist's chair, I feel like a limp rag! Anaesthetic wearing off now, so have taken a couple of painkillers which means I'll probably sleep all afternoon!

Some lovely dress shops in Marlowe Plant and I think in Old Amersham.

OH gone to do shopping......goodness only knows what he'll come back with!

Yes WeeGranny, must have a look there, my favourite shop Country Casuals in old Amersham has gone and Ambers is so expensive. It would be easy if I was a different shape. I haven't tried Marlow yet.
