Hi ladies I’ll make this quick , I am in such shock we went to the funeral today it was bitter cold, we have mutual friends with our neighbours introduced by them actually . I spoke to him on the way into the crematorium asked after his health as he hadn’t been well and had a stent put in some time ago , he said he was ok we sat in our seats in the chapel and within seconds he keeled over and died I can’t believe it ,ambulance took 18 mins to come and cpr was administered the whole time , we were moved to the next door chapel that is used for overflow , eventually the service went ahead but without music as that was taped in the other side as we came out they were still there and another funeral was waiting in the drive , it’s been a horrendous day, found now he couldn’t be revived

Bruddy hell Qwerty! Stuff that nightmares are made of. No wonder you're in shock. How heartbreaking/confusing for the widow of your friend tho'😢 As if a funeral's not traumatic enough without anything like this happening. Sending hugs.

Oma & Enfys I'm really pleased that all went well for your OHs. Oma hope B improves once off the ABs. Good news tho'.

OH is a happy puppy as he got the job. It'll suit him to the ground.

Well, I went to my sisters on my own again, as mum had a 'bit of a sore throat' this time. My sister was fine, I took the family presents, and got mum's fish and chips on the way back. She was miserable, but in better mood when I left her. I have made her 2 doctors appointments over the next 3 weeks, so I hope maybe at one of the them her ear problem can be solved.

Oh Qwerty, all I can do is send you big ((HUGS)) What a terrible shock for everyone. As others say it will take time to sink in. Take care.

Glad all was well at the hospital Oma, I hope the tummy problem soon sorts it'self out.

It's good to hear the hearing aids are an improvement Plant.

                    Congratulations to your OH Nana!

Qwerty, that is so sad. I cannot begin to imagine how his family must feel. This is the second time I have heard of this in a week. A friend of a friend died whilst at a football match in Sheffield recently. Everyone who knew him is in total shock as you must be.
Good news, however on the hospital appointment front, OH had one too to check his arteries (the furring up of) and all was ok.

Plant....Plant, oh Plahant....can you hear me? It’s the climax of our game unless you’ve had a sneaky win while I’ve been busy with the GCs. Hope the new aids are satisfactory.
Gem, you are a saint, and congratulations to Mr Nana on his job offer.
Going nowhere this week as DD1 has taken my old bus in case it snows heavily as hers is still in the garage supposedly being mended. 5 weeks now and too many excuses.
