Had a lovely 2 and a half hour walk at the beach, even the sun shone. Went with my friend, Tilly seemed to enjoy her first visit to the seaside even had a little paddle. Unlike Shiloh who dives straight in 😵 no matter how cold. I think Tilly was shattered she fell asleep in the car on the way back. Both dogs sleeping soundly as will I be 😁 No housework today, no energy left.

Lovely sunny and mild day here, aqua was good and when I got back I let my GD1 drive my new car to the nearest town. We had a coffee in Waitrose, saw her mum shopping there, she drove back and now she has gone riding. I have put her on my insurance for the first time and wanted her to try the automatic, she did fine. I made it quite clear that she would only be driving it if we were together, she has her own car. My Sil is back in bed feeling very poorly again and it is his birthday today

Afternoon peeps back from hairdressers I’ve grown it this last 3 mths and today had it layered more, and left the length quite like it.
LG I should have a nana nap with the dogs well not in the same basket just the same time , I love a walk along the beach your very lucky to live on the coast and P is a lovely resort

The book I ordered about difficult childhoods and the mums that make it so is very hard going, hope I’ve done the right thing had it recommended it cost £20 !!!!!!

Poor you Mimi I can still come round with the hammer if you like, actually it isn’t funny hope you get some sleep , sometimes when we don’t sleep for a few nights our bodies get into that routine and it’s hard to break it

I ventured into town today.First time on my own for ages as G likes to come with me but as he is still convalescing I thought it best not to expose him to bugs in shops etc. I was a bit wary about leaving him as usually he is only on his own while I go to work.Well I wrote a note to remind him where I was and my mobile number. I also left him some sandwiches for lunch and a reminder to have them!It all went well and I had a good look round.I bought a beanie hat for myself reduced from £12 to £3.50 and lots of bits and bobs I needed

Another fairly dispiriting afternoon with my mum. I need a holiday or at least some fun! I should not complain, with all these poorly family members about I know. I think it is just that January Yuk feeling!

DH not too bad, had a better night but he has an infection in one of the wounds so is on antibiotics. That may be why he wasn’t feeling too good so hopefully now will improve. He has eaten a little bit today and seemed a bit brighter this afternoon. Still early days, but getting there.

very bright and sunny here today and I notice I’m not putting the lights on so early. I noticed lots of green growth in one of our clematis today, so nice t see signs of spring. 💐

Good evening everyone! This has been a long, long week, and I'm more tired than I think I've been for ages. I just wanted to say 'hello'.

Enfys - I do hope OH will feel a bit better tomorrow when the antibiotics have kicked in.

Plant - poor SIL - not a good way to celebrate a birthday, and he must be very fed up with feeling ill.

Clover - glad you managed a little 'me' time today, and pleased G was ok.

I have read all your posts, but to be honest even my fingers are tired, and my brain seems to have gone to sleep before me. Tomorrow I'll be fine!

Enfys, I'm sure your OH will feel better when the infection is under control. My OH got wound infection after her surgery and said she felt so poorly, and so quickly well again once they found the right antibiotic.
