Morning all Oma pleased B's results were good, just waiting for my friend and we will go to the beach for a couple of hours with our dogs. T is doing well, they split her desmopresion into 3 times a day instead of 2 doses and it seems to be working. Friday she goes to another hospital for a PET MRI. It's a unit of excellence apparently. They are trying everything to try and unravel the mystery . She left me a message yesterday, it didn't make sense, but at least she is trying to communicate.
Catheter out today, she will be relieved about that. 😉

Good morning, everyone (just still morning as I type)

Libra - you must be so relieved that things are going in the right direction for T. Enjoy your walk on the beach - it's a bit chilly this morning.

Plant - how frustrating not having your car. Everything seems to move so slowly and it's worse every day you wait. I think they're slower at dealing with assessor, repairs etc if you don't have a courtesy car with your policy. I'm sure someone at Aqua would have given you a lift, but I would hate asking, too.

Qwerty - I hope GD1's toe is ok, but I can understand you being cross. When you're exhausted and pulled every which way looking after all 3 of them you're definitely not in the mood for rather silly games. I'm sure I would have snapped her head off at that moment, even though I'd feel sorry for her afterwards.

Gem - just off to read about your day out.

Oma,Snap! We are having rhubarb crumble tonight as well!

Cushion covers dried beautifully and are now back on.

Feeling a bit proud of myself as I fitted the new toilet seat all by myself. G could have done it and was on stand-by but he wasn’t needed. It has been tested and it didn’t throw me off.

                    Clover, I am impressed!!
Things sounding more positive regarding your DD Libra.

Mum was OK Oma thanks. A little bit gloomy due to a slight cold, but I let her talk about the past and politics for a couple of hours, so she was much happier when I left her I was planning to ask her round here on Monday, but she told me my DD3 is going after work and taking fish and chips for them both that day, so I will save my invitation!

gHi ladies well I lived to tell the tale, 3 happy kids gone home and I have my life back what’s left of it lol , it’s been a tiring week as you all know so no more sympathy I did what had to be done 😀
I am pretty tired now so sorry if I havnt caught up with all posts but I intend to be in bed in an hour , a bed to myself with no star shaped little people in it, Tomorrow I need to be up early we are having 2 new units In our windows , Windows due to steamy windows no they are not in the bedroom kind I should be so lucky 🤭
🤭 we have an 8 ft bay window In the lounge and this is the 3rd glass in the same place that’s gone foggy, and we cracked a window in the back of the garage so that needs replacing too
Clover do you fit bathrooms as well 🛁🚿🚽?
Gem glad you enjoyed the sculpture park although it was very cold yesterday, we took I for lunch and intended getting some bedding plants but it must be too cold as there weren’t any ! One of these days Gem we will bump into each other as I am not far from the sculpture park either and I’m not stalking you
Libra my Dd works in a clinic of excellence in admin though, but she tells me they have the best consultants and the best knowledge and the brightest people there so fingers crossed for her
Plant hope you get sorted soon with the car .G/d toe is very bruised and she told me not to tell mummy she didn’t have her slippers on, I told her if mummy asks I will have to tell her , well I didn’t need to as mummy said you did have your slippers on didn’t you, at that point she said yeeees but mummy knew different 🤨

Clover - clever lady - well done.

Gem - that was sweet of you to let your mum talk about things, and lovely that DD3 is taking her fish and chips on Monday.

All that rhubarb! And crumbles! My mouth's watering, but OH doesn't like any sort of crumble, and doesn't like rhubarb so I hardly ever do either. I might just stage a little rebellion though!!! Nanto - I haven't done parsley sauce with gammon for ages - it's lovely!

Tonight I did chicken breasts with garlic and just a little seasoning in parcels, pan-fried onions, garlic and potatoes with hispi cabbage and carrots. There was enough cooking liquid from the chicken breasts to make gravy with, so that was a bit of a bonus.

Qwerty - well done on surviving a very very busy week! I hope you sleep well, ready for the windows being fitted tomorrow. I do hope GD1's toe gets better quickly.

It's been dry but dull and chilly here today, so I've concentrated on housework. I've only got a few odds and ends of jobs to do tomorrow, and I'm hoping it will be dry enough to get on with some urgent gardening. OH is busy painting DS2's house and wants to make an early start tomorrow, so I'm off to bed to get my 8 hours!! Night, night everyone. Sleep well.

Good morning, Nanto and everyone. Nanto - nearly time to start on the packing! Your MIL and FIL will miss you while you're away.

It's dull here but at least it's not raining. I've got a few bits and pieces to do around the house, but if the weather warms up a bit I shall leave them and get out in the garden. OH is decorating at DS2's most of the day, so nothing special planned.

                              Have a good day, everyone.

                                Good morning all.
The weather forecasters promise us better weather next week. Let's all hang on to that!
Nan2, when do you go on holiday? It must be soon if this is your last time at in -laws

OH and I are going to the golf club quiz tonight. It's a fun night and the food there is excellent, and they charge only £7.50 for the one course meal on quiz nights, so a cheap night out too!
Not sure what the rest of the day holds for us.

Have a good one, whatever you have planned.
