We have an outside tap, but the old hose sprung a leak.

It has been like a November's day here with mist/fog not lifting at all.

Had to go into town and went on the Park& Ride which was running 30 minutes late. Not much fun standing on a cold,windy site. And the powers that be wonder why more people don't use public transport. It was fine coming back though, so the problem had obviously been cleared.

We've got one of those windy hoses which never go back as smoothly as they should, pain in the ***!

We had a good day. “Evita “ was fabulous, really enjoyed it.
Our buses are only hourly and of course just missed one after the performance so went to Tesco . Went in for coffee and came out with a reduced toilet seat.

We once went Asda shopping,ended up in Currys across the road, and came out with a tv.

So nice to have good news for a change.

Clover can make the connection between coffee and a toilet seat . To be honest it’s the sort of thing I would do .

Tomorrow we are going to Cardiff to see DD and two GS’s . Fingers crossed the weather is kind to us . I have heard on the grapevine that next week is supposed to improve, warm sunshine promised.

Evening / morning just writing this quick as I am in bed and eldest g/ d knocking the zzzzz out at the side of me , don’t think I am so much tired as feeling wired can’t come down and relax, I was putting sone ironing away upstairs in one of the bedrooms, it’s a small room the door opens onto the bed so you have to push the door in to get arond from one side , as I did this I felt a sharp resistance to find it was g/d hiding behind it, I swear she wants me to have a heart attack, so naturally I screamed and realised it was her so she got the sharp end of my tongue . I then found she had caught in between her little toe and the next one on the edge of the door , it’s taken a chunk of skin and it’s proper upset me, now I can’t sleep , hope its better tomorrow , of course it would have helped if. for the umpteenth time she would put her slippers on ! its my final day tomorrow so will catch up later tomorrow night night 🤨

Qwerty, what a shock, I presume she was playing a game, hope toe heals quickly
No aqua for me today, no car to get me there and I don't know the other ladies that well to ask for a lift, not sure where they live. GS3 coming to paint the garage doors today, very dull atm. The bride and groom have been in the Lake District since Tues, back today. Both GM's have had baby E for a day and night and today he goes to nursery and his mum and dad will pick him up. I am sure they will be pleased to get back to normal. The Engineer from the insurance company is not coming until Monday and then the garage has to quote so not much chance of getting my wheels back for a while, hate it. GD is taking me shopping tomorrow.

You must really miss your car Plant. It's a shame you had to miss aqua, but I understand, if there is no one you know well. I wasn't a driver until I was 50, and hated to ask anyone for a lift.
