Love the bag Oma. Ouch Qwerty, at your dentist bill. Hope it goes well.
Out today to Kingston Lacey, a National Trust property quite near us. We are taking a picnic lunch, going to make the most of this lovely weather. Garden is looking good after our work yesterday, loads of birds out there this morning, so nice to,hear them chirping away.
Had a funny text from DGD yesterday. She is in Tasmania at the moment having a week there with DS, DIL and GS. They all went out for a meal and she was offered the under 12 menu!! She is 23!! This has happened before and sheβs not sure whether to be amused or not π.
Have a good day everyone π

Clover, I hope you both enjoy the film, and then the sun.
If you are looking in Grauntie, I hope you are soon on the mend. Relax and enjoy!
Enfys, I have known several people, my DD3 included, who have been asked if they are over 18 or 21, but 12, she must be very young looking!!!
Usual Thursday for me. I did mums shopping yesterday, so only one thing to pick up for her on the way over this afternoon. OH at another golf club dinner tonight, so meal for one here again! Salmon fillet for me tonight I think.
Enjoy your day ladies.

Gorgeous sunshine as promised. I have someone coming today to start on the sunroom, I think I will take out the plants at one side as he will need to tread on that part of the border. GD and I drove past the garage and spotted my poor little car, they said 2/3 weeks when they took it.
Sorry to hear you are feeling unwell Grauntie, hope the sunshine makes you feel better.
Little steps for your DD Libra but in the right direction.
That must have been a shock Qwerty to find J had disappeared, he deserved the 99

Hurray - it's warm and sunny here, too! This is more like it. I've dug out the crop trousers, the short-sleeved t-shirt and the sun cream!!! Bliss
It's a day at home for me today. My new lawn mower is due to arrive between 11.30 and 1.30, but I expect I will have to put it on charge before I can use it. Although I might need to scythe the lawn first - it's like a jungle.
So a bit of housework and then out into the garden! This weather makes me feel more energetic, but I'm sure by tonight I'll be shattered!
Enjoy your day, everyone.

Afternoon ladies on this glorious day, I decided not to go with hubby, wasn't in the mood for rushing around to get ready. I walked the dogs instead. It was glorious and I didn't need a jacket got back hung yet more washing out. Since then been lazy sat on the patio painting my toenails. Reluctant to move its so warm. I have ironing but it's far to hot, will put off until this evening.
Sounds lovely Libra, wish I could sit in the sun, my skin doesn't like it.
Just had a phone call to tell me that my lovely car is a write-off, chassis was bent so they are going to replace it as it is under a year old. They want copies of lots of documents emailed to them, I will have to get Sil to do that for me. I am quite upset for my poor little car. Not sure how long the replacement will take, there is a high demand for them atm. I looked into hiring a car and found I was too old, you have to be under 75!

Libra - I had to wait in for a delivery so couldn't take Eva out this morning. Now it's too warm for her!
Plant - I'm so sorry your car is being written off. Your GD will be upset for you as well. I didn't know there was an age limit on hiring cars. If the replacement is going to take several weeks is it worth buying a cheap second-hand one and then selling it on again when you get your new one?
My toe nails are crying out for a paint job as well!

Good evening from Spain. Haven't been able to use phone, free wifi sent it haywire. Just got it working again, so haven't been able to keep up with you all. Going to have to catch up over the weekend. Weather and hotel lovely. Just getting ready for dinner.
