Up early with the sun shine so I stripped the beds , put all that in washer , flicked the hoover and duster around cleaned downstairs loo ,
Went upstairs did my Ironing and ironed the fresh bedding , then had a shower ,
Came down put bedding on the line and now sitting with a nice glass of Orange juice with ice having 5 minutes ,
B busy making his Mam a Birthday cake , its her Birthday on Monday but we are all going to Martins for lunch tomorrow to celebrate so take her cake there ,

Morning folk out for lunch this morning with twins and dil don’t know where I am going so didn’t know what to put on , soooo I’ve put a dress on OH nearly passed out, I have a birthday coming up shortly as well you know 😀 going out for lunch with my 2 gorgeous friends on my birthday, and out to lunch at my Dds tomorrow so only time to meet today she has her mum coming tomorrow and DS out tonight to see a tribute band .

Late morning for me as I spent most of the night wide awake .
Its a very strange morning , can't put my finger on what is going on. I can hear the sound of lawn mowers, OH has got out the wind chimes and hung them up, heating isn't on and there is a strange bright thing in the sky. What is this unknown phenomenon I wonder ?

Tesco delivery has just arrived and its all been put away .

OH has put a bet on the Grand National I got him to put a bet on Ucello Conti for me, that's bound to fall now I have put my hard earned cash on it !

Oma hope B makes a huge cake so that we can all have a slice

Unexpected sleep over tonight . GS1 has informed us he's coming to stay ,
So that's me in the spare room , he's almost 14 but still insists on sleeping in our bed with Grandad , They lie watching a movie and talking for hours he loves that ,, we know there will come a time when he wants to go in spare room so making the most of it while we can
Having said that his mother would still climb in between us when she was 16 especially if she had watched a scary movie

Everyone having a busy day now we have some sunshine. Very warm here, GS2 painting the garage doors with the inevitable music going. DD and SIL are apparently in the local pub#restaurant, GD1 has tracked them down so she is walking up to join them. I am kitten sitting, he is fast asleep, usually good for a couple of hours. We can't let him out atm as he is so small and no injections yet so can't have windows and doors open. I have done some gardening so quite happy to cat sit now.

I've just come in to get a cold drink, before carrying on with butchering ... errr, I mean pruning the last hydrangea.

Garage doors painted, GS gone, said he might find time to come back next week to paint the gate. Kitten only slept for a short time and then had me on the run, he kept climbing up the curtains, pleased when GD came home and took over. Opened up the sunroom and found it had been leaking, a piece of roofing felt had come off. Cushions soaking on one chair, I need to find someone to re-felt it and paint it. It is still sunny and warm, might be able to sit out with a glass of sparkling later.

Plant - Milo sounds a lively little lad, climbing the curtains. I do hope the leak in your sunroom is nothing serious - could it just be condensation? Well done to your GS for painting the garage door. What a lovely lad!

It's been lovely here once the mist cleared - I feel so much better for being out in the sun for a few hours. I've done quite a bit of pruning, cutting back and battling with the ivy, which has permission to grow on the fence, but not invade the rest of the garden! There's nothing much to show for all my hard work except an overflowing wheelbarrow and an aching back!

Off to get dinner now - chicken Caesar salad (or something like that, I've only got Chinese leaves in the fridge).

Snap, Daisy. I have erected a sweet pea support and planted them out, onions now in and veg patch dug over..I needed to do this before I go away. Looking at the forecast for our bit of Spain, one site has it as cold and wet, another is much better. I prefer the latter. 🙄

Evening all I have had a lovely lunch, we have a vintage cafe in the village they make birthday cakes and desserts too but never ventured in it’s been open about a year, anyway Dil had organised afternoon tea there it was lovely a balloon fastened to my chair felt very loved , I have tried to put pics on my media but for some reason it isn’t working for me

Its been a lovely day here in Leeds such a change makes you feel so different when the old bones warm up 🙂

Mimi another sleepless night I must admit I did too but the problem was heartburn my own fault why can’t I say no to pasta, and French bread 🙄
