Evening playmates today I decluttered and took some baby toys to Dr Baranados charity shop, amongst them was the first thing I bought eldest g /d when we started looking after her and she learnt to walk with it a ride on musical car, it was quite big and did get in the way in the spare room, didn’t mind if it was being used but hasn’t been touch for some while and twins have outgrown it, but boy did my heart leap when I handed it over couldn’t get out of the shop quick enough or I would’ve brought it back
Then debugged the house from snot, saliva, sticky fingers, weetabix, and other sorts of marks, then replenished a very sad looking fridge .
Nan2 have a fabulous holiday you really do deserve it, any room for a small one ? OOohh another one gallivanting off to Espana GM hope you have a really nice time maybe you have space for a small one
WG good luck to your DD she must be very good at her job, she was amazing with me on our first meet up of grans nothing was too much trouble for us . Picture of the new kitchen would be nice WG might as well sicken me off altogether lol

The window man came today to put new glass in never spent £175 so quick he came at 8.50 so I jumped in the shower and I’m quick in the shower by the time I got out he had done all bar a seal to put in but he’s had to order it, OH paid him I would not have paid till job was done OH gave him £180 and the cheeky b****r never gave any change 🤨I do dislike workmen sometimes !

Just picked some horses for tomorrows Grand National.
I usually look for a name that grabs me,but nothing did,so ended up sticking a pin in.
Hubby,Rosie and eldest son chose theirs by name.

We have no idea if a horse is a good one or not, but we always have a flutter on the National.

WeeGranny - how nice to see DD unexpectedly - even nicer if they do move closer to you. I bet you will be glad when the kitchen is finished now, but it shouldn't be long. Photos would be great.

Oma - a nice unexpected visitor for you too! Although you could probably have done without Storm decorating your nice clean windows! One thing about ironing - if you leave it, it will always wait for you - you don't have to worry about it going away on its own.

Qwerty - it's a bit of a heart-tug moment when we realise our grandbabies are growing up, so I can imagine how you felt taking the toys into the charity shop. We've got a few we need to move on - when I get round to it!! LOL At least your windows are now done (more or less).

I've had a fairly productive day. OH was out nearly all day, came home about 4 pm and then went out again at 5 pm so I didn't have to cook. I gave the bathrooms a good cleaning and did the bedrooms. For the last few weeks it seems I've never managed to get the whole house together, but today I even cleaned the kitchen floor! Bleach babes - eat your hearts out. That's it now for as long as I can get away with it! I did some typing for OH, had a snack and then watched Gardener's World and the last half of Master Chef.

We came third in the quiz last night
The chef had kindly made chicken pie just for me. There are always two choices and you book ahead. There has always been at least one option I could have but this time it was steak pie or chicken curry. As beef and chili are out for me that was no good, but OH asked if he could do something else and he did.

Not sure what today holds, but OH and I are going out for a meal tonight to a restaurant which was recommended to us to celebrate our anniversary (3 years!)

I'm hoping to get some work done in the garden today, and start some seeds off in the greenhouse. Lots to do, just need the weather to co-operate.
