A sunny start.Hope it lasts.Two loads of washing to do and the bedroom to clean.Tesco delivery later then we must have a walk.What a fun-filled day.

Morning ladies it feels a chilly day here but the sun is trying to break through, had a good day with the twins yesterday promised to take them to the park but wouldn’t you know it it rained, OH wanted his cigars so we all piled into the car and went with him, the kids had a couple of rides that they have in supermarkets , and we then had coffee and cake just to get out for an hour.
The later the day the more it gets harder to keep 2 children awake they won’t sleep through the day now but by 3 ish they are getting ratty and tea is at 4 as mum picks them up at 5 so the back end of the day goes a bit pear shaped as it’s a struggle to get them to eat then.
OH has an eye app he has the start of cataracts and other eye problems it’s just a check up I think , I will be tidying the mess from yesterday no energy once they are gone .
Oma I was shocked to read about your passing out do, had you eaten like others have said blood pressure ?
Good to see P doing so well I could do with a walk today
Daisy I am at hairdressers tomorrow can’t wait then there will be 2 glam ladies on here not that we havnt more I’m sure there is have good day ladies may be back later

I forgot to say earlier that I am going out for a meal with 2 friends tonight. This is the meal which was cancelled a couple of weeks ago when I had a bad cold.

Gem isn't it annoying when you don't have a time slot but its important to get it serviced ,

Two loads of washing done , housework done , Dog fed , now asleep so just a little ironing later ,

B is off to B&Q to get new shower fittings , the head of ours isn't playing nice and it keeps sliding down the riser bar , wont stay in place when you adjust it ,
Renewing the bar and head is better than fighting with it all the time .
Went to look at them yesterday but wasn't allowed to get it till today as he gets his OAP discount on a Wednesday Men

Didn't go to to see Finding Your Feet as it was not showing until 8.00 p.m. in stead we saw a biographical film I Tonya about Tonya Harding a famous American skater. It wasn't our sort of film, lots of the !F! word and what a dreadful mother and husband she had, wouldn't recommend it. Not sure what I am going to do today, need to have a quick visit to the shop for fruit but the garden is beckoning to be tidied up. The pots in the courtyard need some colour in them. I have been nursing a tray of Primulas, brought them into the kitchen during the snow but they could go out now.

Sun was out earlier but it’s quite chilly, just had a walk around the estate😀. (My mum always said that whenever she walked round the garden)!

We are going out this morning to get DH a man bag.....he will need one for when we go out and he needs to take spare supplies with him. When I first mentioned it he wasn’t too keen but last week when we were at the hospital a chap came into the waiting room with one, like a small satchel type bag, so he thought it would be a good idea. Then we will have another walk this afternoon.

Enfys B has one its a cross the body satchel type , I bought it in the Heart foundation charity shop ,
I didn't know they sell new things as well as second hand ,
We were passing one day and they had several colours in the window , he chose the Khaki green one .
Its proved very useful on the days hes on his crutches and goes out himself means if he buys anything he can still be hands free also uses it to put all his stuff in for hospital clinic days like his medical charts he has to take .

Qwerty - I know what you mean by the end of the day going pear-shpaed. GD2 fell asleep in the car going back to her mum and dad's yesterday, and I had to wake her up when she got there. She wasn't a happy bunny. Cooper the puppy fell asleep as well, but he woke up raring to go! You definitely need a day to recover.

Wee Granny - I remember our GD1 'doing' The Planets in the Infants School, but can't remember which year. She still knows distances from the sun and relative sizes etc!

So much for looking galmm after the hairdressers. I stepped out side, took two steps and the wind howled up and blew it all over the place. By the time I'd walked Cooper I needed to go back and get it blow dried again!

Nanto - it's always nice to see friends, especially when it gets you out of the dreaded house work!

Enfys - I think man bags are a great idea - and so trendy now as well. Or a rucksack would be useful and perhaps easier to carry if you're going out for walks etc.

Daisy, who knows LOL. Unfortunately we all know that smoking makes this sort of things worse, but at 89 it is one of her very few pleasures

GS1 knows all about the planets. When DD told me recently they were 'doing' it at school, I replied that he could probably tell the teacher something! He has just had his bedroom painted a darkish blue and planets are going on the wall. Not sure if it is a boy thing? I do remember GD being interested in and knowledgeable about planets when she was about 3, but I think that interest soon waned.

Just had my nails done and feel decidedly glamorous! Hair cut tomorrow! My usual beautician is on maternity leave, so I went to the new one which has opened in the new gym in the village. Very handy as I can walk there, but seems a bit on the expensive side!

Sun has been out today and it has made such a difference to everything. You can see the cobwebs and the dust....and the dirty windows. Mind you, next door are having work done on the house and the amount of sawing that's being done has to be heard/seen to be believed. And of course, all the dust seems to be blowing our way. I'd tease the neighbour about cleaning the windows for me but he hasn't got a sense of humour, so I think I'll just wait until the window cleaner arrives!

My OH had a man bag for a long time but would only use it abroasvit as a handle you put round your wrist he saw many Italian and Spanish men using them it’s full when he goes out, cigars, lighter, money , phone, glasses oh and a spare Tena lady in case I don’t take my bag 😱
