      Good evening.

We had a long time in mums garden. After I planted and tidied in the front garden I helped OH in the back garden. My heart was in my mouth most of the time as she was up a large apple tree. Mum daren't look and stayed inside. She got it about two thirds done, and no injuries!

      Quiet night in for us.

Gem I would be the same As long as most of its done I would leave well alone now ,

DD stiff and sore today , and now GS1 injured , had his legs kicked away from him in football and hurt his knee ,so he is sitting with ice pack on but they won again so he's happy with that

Plant - I do sympathise. I would love my garden to look like I see it in my imagination, but there are many compromises as I can't to the heavy work that I used to do with ease. OH isn't a gardener but he will sometimes help with say moving a heavy pot. I'm trying to adapt various things to make it easier to manage (it's not a big garden) but as fast as I get one job done, two more are screaming for attention. It must be so frustrating for you to see 'the family's border' not looking its best, especially knowing your DD is getting similar exercise at great expense, but without any fresh air. Is it possible to replant that border so it doesn't need so much attention?

Gem - what a busy day you've had. I hope you've had a long relaxing warm bath so you won't be aching tomorrow. Well done to S on pruning the apple tree. Thank goodness she got down safely. Was your mum pleased with what you both did?

We've spent the day getting the caravan as ready as we can at this stage. It's all clean, fired up and ready to go, we've just got to gather together some food, and clothes, but I'm waiting to get a more up to date weather forecast before I decide on my itsy bitsy bikini or my polar fleece and boots.

Most of the house is looking clean and tidy - not much left to do tomorrow morning.

I got all excited getting the van ready this morning and said to OH I wish we could go straight away. Still, not long to Wednesday.

Oma - poor DD, and GS1. I'm glad they won, but it sounds as though someone tackled him very badly. I hope the ice pack helps. Was this the last match of the season?

Quick update J is ok just in shock when we fell together, woke this morning to a slight black eye, and was in so much pain with my wrist through the night, had to get up and take some painkillers, but as the day has wore on it’s got better, Oma if it had been concrete I wouldn’t have been running , but when I hit the deck it felt like concrete. and your poor DD I bet she’s stiff it’s such a shock I know .
The WiFi signal is pretty bad so will leave you now but we are enjoying our time together as best we can

A bit nippy but the sun is shining.
It's a good forecast for the week.

                    Off to in laws later.

Good Monday morning everyone. what a pretty graphic, Nanto.

Yes, 2 more sleeps and we're off! I can't remember what the wifi is like at this site, but I'll check up!

Qwerty, and Oma's DD and GS1 - I hope you are all 'on the mend'. Oma I think towards the end of the season all sports people must be getting a bit tired and perhaps more prone to injury, but I do hope he is ok for the last game.

Doing a last tidy up round the house this morning before picking GD2 up from playgroup. I also need to cut the lawn, but want to leave that until tonight. At least if it's as dry as forecast it shouldn't grow quite so quickly!

                      Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Nan2, Daisy and everyone else.

Poor GS, Oma, I hope he and his mum feel better soon - and Qwerty's wrist!

Daisy, I can tell you are very excited about your forthcoming caravan holiday Not long now!

I have a friend coming for lunch then OH and I are going to a garden centre as B&Q didn't have everything I wanted for mum yesterday, although I did get, and plant some very nice red geraniums. Last year I could only get pink, so l grabbed these red ones when I saw them, as mum loves the red ones.

Tonight we are meeting up with friends at the local pub quiz night. Golf club quizzes are suspended over summer, apart from one in August, so we can keep our hands in this way

                          Have a good day everyone.,

Good morning all. I hope all the injured folk are feeling better today. Falls always shake you up so much.

yesterday we went to the AGM of the support group DH joined after his op. It was held at Bovington Tank Museum, interesting for him but (yawn) for me 😴. But it was nice for him to chat to the other members and hear their stories and get a few tips too. We did enjoy a nice lunch in the restaurant. When we came home I mowed the lawn so that’s another job done for this week. Art group this morning.

Daisy, enjoy your visit to Lyme Regis, it’s lovely there, some great views across the bay. Have a good day everyone 🌞

Lovely sunny morning here, hope it lasts. Bowls this afternoon and Embroidery Group this evening, need to phone friends for lifts.

Enfys, it is great there is support for you and your OH. I remember going to the Tank Museum with OH.

I gather from the previous comments that GS1 has picked up an injury, hope it will not keep him out of the game for long.

Good afternoon all . After a lazy day yesterday I have made up for it this morning but the day hasn't gone as planed so far .The washing machine has been limping along , albeit rather noisily but this morning it has refused to spin so I had to get the wet washing out of the machine and wring it out and then hang it in the line dripping wet, thank goodness its a nice sunny day here,
I have managed to plant out lots of plants in the front garden but the cat refused to follow me, she sat on the back doorstep waiting for me and then lay on the patio when I came back around, at least she is better now so that's something .

                                How is everyone this morning

Qwerty and Oma's GS and DD I hope they are feeling better

Daisy not long now ...2 more sleeps.

Bring me sunshine in your smile.
