I spoke too soon about the weather. It poured with rain just as I was leaving to collect GD2. π¨

It's a pity to have a cold on a week off Plant, but it often happens. I'm sure GD appreciated your soup.
What a lot of post Nan2!
GS1 has a cold but he's been to school and Magic Maths club, so he's not too bad!βA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.β β Unknown

Plant - I hope your GD1 isn't too poorly - it's not the best way to spend a week off.
Nanto - I was expecting a parcel today - I was very surprised it arrived on Saturday - it must have battled through the snow to get here!
Qwerty - yes, it's horrible standing outside waiting for them to come out when it's pouring with rain, and that's the day they are always the last ones.

Good morning Nan2, Qwerty and everyone else
Qwerty, I hope you and the little ones have a good day.
Good to hear that you all had a good meal Plant.
An easy day for me. Reflexology for me this morning, and a free day the rest of the day, as I looked after GS1 yesterday instead of my usual Tuesday.
No golf for OH yet again, the course is now flooded! They meet up in the clubhouse for coffee etc though, so it's not all bad!
Have a good day everyone!βA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.β β Unknown

Nothing much planned for today, might have a flick around with a yellow thing and push the stick thing around. If GD is feeling better we might go to the cinema today or tomorrow to see Finding Your Feet. We are still being visited by a rat helping himself to the food for the table feeders. I am not going to put anything on the table now, sorry Mr and Mrs Blackbird.
Hope none of you are flooded out, haven't been on the garden yet, it is probably a bit squelchy.
Have a nice day with the twins Qwerty, have I missed something? Wont they be at school? What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Morning all. Thanks for your good wishes. Just passed them onto OH & he said to thank you. Also said he's glad I've found some good friends.
Gem. My mum used to wear hearing aids but have sore ears sometimes. It was due to wax build up & was made better by a visit to the nurse who removed it. Strangely enough it was the only thing that I couldn't stomach.π· It can happen if you don't wear hearing aids too.
Lymphoedema clinic for me yesterday & back to wearing full length compression stockings. Nice in the cold weather but hell in the warmer weather. Never mind as long as they do their job.π"Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."
