Daisy did my ironing ,didn't find yours
Sun is shining and that's lovely but it shows how dirty the outside of the windows are and the dogs nose marks
.
Shower fittings up and luckily went in the same place , the raiser bar was the same length as the old one ,
Gem hope you get your Mum into Dr's in one piece ,so scary when its icy underfoot.
Qwerty my DD went back to work on Tuesday after being off 7 weeks , that's how I knew she was ill as she would rather fight her way in if shes off colour rather than stay off .
Clover enjoy the Cinema what are you going to see?
Enfys hope you have better luck finding a bag today ,
Libra a walk around the beach will clear the cobwebsLast edited by Oma; 08-03-2018, 12:36 PM.Im not fat just 6ft too small

I hope the snow is taking the hint, northern ladies, and leaving you in peace!
Qwerty - I'm sure you'll make it to the hairdressers.
Nanto - crikey - I'll have to get a move on!
Oma - did you check under the table for my ironing?
It's still sunny here, but quite a cold wind.

Lovely sunny day here, bit of wind but still a lovely March day. I am feeling a bit tired after aqua and then I cleaned my windows as the window cleaner came this morning.
Walk on the beach sounds lovely Libra, I am sure the girlies will enjoy a facetime with GM.
Hope the visit to the doctors goes well GeminiWhat is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Sun shining again after a spell of rain, but the wind is bitterly cold!
Hair done and I now have the new windswept look!!
I need to go along to the station to get our train tickets for Saturday. The machine at our station doesn't always work, so I don't want to leave it in case I have to find another station!
Bought OH a mini birthday cake.....he doesn't want a home made one. But you can't have a birthday without a cake, can you?
Hope all the snow has gone oop North!Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Not a bad day, really. The sun's nice and it was 16C in the greenhouse, but that wind had a sharp edge to it.
WG - yes, it's better to get the train tickets while you can. Of course OH has to have a birthday cake.
Nanto - I was dribbling down the windows, watching you tuck in. I must say, it smelt delicious.
Plant - I keep thinking about cleaning the windows indoors.
Gem - pleased you haven't got to plough through any more snow.
Apart from a few loads of washing, I haven't got anything done - two lots of visitors, and a photography session cropped up. The photos were for the second visitor who is a woodturning friend of OH's. He's made a lovely heart-shaped wooden box for another friend's son's wedding later this year. There's been a lot of thought and planning put into this project - my only contribution was to suggest tiny magnets for the lid instead of hinges, so I thought it would be nice to take some photos for the friend who had done all the hard work. I'll put a pic up later when I've processed them.

Oma we saw “Murder on the Orient Express”. It was enjoyable enough but I was a bit disappointed after all the hype when it was first released.
A new large Iceland store has recently opened so we had a wander round there. Just bought some square crumpets. Can’t seem to find them anywhere else.
Hope everyone’s day has gone to plan and been a good one.Enjoy your evenings.

Square crumpets eh Clover, I have never seen those!
That sounds a good day Daisy ☺️
Birthdays certainly need cake WG!
Much as I expected at the doctor's. Eustachian tube disfunction, can take 6 weeks, so as it has been about 4 hang in there and go back after 2 weeks if no improvement. The doctor was very nice and very patient with mum. I had to remind her that the doctor had lots of patients to see when she started to tell her all about my dad and how they met!!
I did gently say to mum that many people, my OH amongst them who would love to be diagnosed with nothing worse than a blocked ear. She gets very wound up in her own problems, and sometimes needs reminding of the world around her!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

I'm not sure, but I think I've seen square crumpets in Sainsbury's.Clover - what a pity the film didn't live up to the hype.
Gem - Hopefully your mum will be patient and wait for her ear to get better. Perhaps you reach a point in life if something's bothering you you tend not to think how much worse it could be. Keeping fingers crossed that it will go better quickly. x
Enfys - your shopping trip wasn't wasted! New towels are so nice to have.
I've been watching Crufts tonight. I'm very undecided about the whole showing dogs thing. There are still too many breeds where traits and physical characteristics are bred into them that are undesirable for the health and function of the dog, and there are still bad breeders around, but I just love seeing all the different dogs, and for me tonight's highlight was youngsters handling agility dogs. The handler who came second was only 10.
