We keep getting little flurry's of snow,but nothing much,supposed to hit us tomorrow
SIL's Mother and I are speaking on whatsapp,we have never had an easy relationship due to her past treatment of my DD,but have to put all that aside as she is involving herself with DD to her benefit. It has now been decided I will go down in the Easter holidays.
No WeeGranny I can't take the dogs,they are in rented accomodation,no pets allowed.

No snow here but it is forecast for tomorrow. We went out early this morning, bought a new telephone and a few bits in Home Bargains, we were only out for under an hour. Stayed in the warm for the rest of the day but pleased that DH wanted to go out, shows he is feeling better, that’s 3days in a row he’s gone out 🙂

Hope all of you with snow are safe and warm, I wonder what we will wake up to in the morning, it’s bitter here

How nice that your DD's MIL and you have put aside differences and working together to help your DD Libra. There are much bigger things in this world than disagreements and working together for the good us those we love is the best way. Good for you

I was going to walk over our shopping centre tomorrow , only need potatoes some fruit and yoghurt , but SIL just rang to say he was going up there so to text him a list of anything we need and he will get it for us
I'm sure they think I'm older than I am and cant manage but I wont look a gift horse in the mouth

Hi ladies I’m back again and pleased to tell you I’ve had my Botox done , the clinic was open bit consultant wasn’t able to get in till lunchtime so got my app at 2.30 the snow was dodgyvwechad a snowstorm on the M62 but my OH was determined to get me there bless him, wecwent in my car as it’s gear driven as opposed to auto and it’s front wheel drive and his is back wheel the joy of motors , it s done now but was in some discomfort when home so took some painkillers and went to bed, so just having my last drink of the day.
Its snowed here all day slow and fast, but nothing like Oma has , I don’t think I have seen snow as bad as that since I was a child !! DD went on the bus , dil was supposed to take twins for their ecg check up but that was cancelled it would have been difficult walking 3 yr old twins in that weather and I had to be elsewhere.OH cleared my friends drive over the road today felt odd him doing it when our good friend is no longer there
Libra glad your going down soon to give sil a break hope you can rise above DD confusion , off back to bed now

Just looked out before coming to bed and it is white on the ground and snowing, I shall not be getting up early to go to Aqua.

Not sure if I have ever had a corned beef and potato pie, sounds like comfort food

Nana - I forgot to say earlier - it's also a good idea if they've been out on the roads and pavements to wash their paws because of the salt, grit etc used on the roads.

Oma - I can't ever remember seeing thundersnow - but I think it's quite common in parts of America.

Clover - I hope OH's eyes were ok, and youve both warmed up now. Well done Amazon!!!

As I'm still coughing for England (feels like a blade) my OH has been treating us to meals. I told him about your pie Nan2 & he made it. Did a great job too. Lovely comfort food. Thanks for the recipe.
Thanks for the help with dog's snowball feet Daisy. Did you see on FBk that there's danger now in this snowy weather for our dogs? People use more antifreeze/salt from roads that they may pick up on their feet & lick off when grooming themselves. I never gave that a thought.

Corned beef pie sounds delicious, is,there a recipe, DH loves corned beef so it would be,something different for him as he’s on a pretty limited diet at the moment.

Hope everyone is well and warm .Think it’s our turn to be snowed in today. Not a lot of snow at the mo but when storm Emma arrives it will be a different story!

Nana I also missed about OH’s new job. Congratulations all round.

Oma I don’t like corned beef , OH will eat some occasionally .

My Tesco delivery is due today and my new laptop but I’m not holding my breath as I have just noticed it’s snowing really heavy now. !
