That’s good Oma. A good appointment for P too, the stoma nurse was very pleased with him and also said she thought he was looking very well,so a gold star for both our boys ⭐️.
I’m feeling much better about things and I can see light at the end of the tunnel. I can actually imagine going away or just out for days now, whereas a couple of weeks ago I couldn’t think of us doing anything like that. Every day things are getting better 🙂

Clover - I love Lakeland and always seem to come home with a little gadget or luxury - last time it was loaf tin liners which are absolutely wonderful and so easy to use!

Gem - glad you enjoyed your afternoon tea - it looked very yummy! Has your mum chosen a gas fire yet?

My day didn't go according to plan at all. Well, I didn't have a plan, but OH had other ideas! Our GS1 is very 'into' electronics and someone was offering a bag full of circuit boards and stuff I don't understand on our local Freecycle. GS will repair, reuse or repurpose things like that (he's just build himself a powerful gaming computer from 'bits') so OH arranged to go and collect them from Christchurch. He said why don't I go with him just for the ride, but I said I would if it involved walking Eva and lunch out. That went down like a lead balloon, but OH suggested he dropped me off at the garden centre to get seeds and other bits for the greenhouse and allotment. He knows how to woo me!!! "Oh", he said, "and while you're there you might as well get the shopping at Sainsbury's." So I trekked round Sainsbury's. We didn't want much so it didn't take long. Then OH came round the garden centre with me, plus a trip into the pet shop to replace the lead Cooper chewed through in the car yesterday! We got back about 3 o'clock and realised we hadn't had lunch! So, we've just had some supper and it's time for bed!

Good Thursday morning, ladies. May it be a day of better news for Libra Gran.

It's damp and dull here this morning, but OH has to go out at lunch time so the plan is to take Eva out in an hour or so - hopefully it will be a bit brighter.

Plant - it's not so much 'forgetting' lunch as not realising what the time is! And it's almost impossible to get OH to stop for a coffee when we're out. For some reason he really dislikes the lovely cafe in the garden centre and we've been boycotting the supermarket cafe for years - since they tried to tell me a semi-frozen sausage was fit to feed to our then 2 year old GD.

Rain again. Hubby was planning on doing a job outside,but thats off now.

Daisy yesterday was just me and OH doing the legwork re gas fires. We went to 3 places, spoke to people, looked at fires, and got some advice and prices. I will talk to mum about it today. I'm sorry you didn't even get lunch out on you shopping trip yesterday!

A trip to Tesco for me later to pick up mum's shopping, then I can talk to her about gas fires when I am her house. Golf looking unlikely yet again for OH, although at the moment the course is open, according to the website.

As with everyone Libra is in my thoughts this morning.

When I got up it was raining but sun is out now.

We had a good day yesterday.Lakeland purchases were confined to a big pack of plastic bags for DD when she visits at Easter.(her request by the way,not a random gift!) and some grout cleaner for me.

I must persuade OH to let me trim his hair today. When he goes out in the wind or takes his hat off his hair sticks out like a mad professors.

Morning ladies , been to Morrison's and Aldi , its bitter cold in the wind ,
Bought DD a Cushion with a Hare on reduced from £8 to £4 I know she will love it

Had a long chat with Libra last night , she's in bits poor woman but at least she had her best friend with her yesterday to give her a shoulder to cry on and her OH arrived home yesterday from DD's , hope she managed some sleep then she can face the day with a fresh mind ,

Morning not such a good one raining here and we have ducks swimming on the flooded part of the field and more rain forecast tomorrow and then and then , SNOW

Just about to go food shopping every time I say we don’t need much the trolley gets fuller, want to get some flowers fro my neighbour over the road, I didn’t buy any after OH died she had so many and I’m not a big believer of flowers at the crematorium so will pop over this aft with them and have a cuppa
Daisy I had a good day doing retail therapy too much to write on here so will go on this and that, don’t hold your breath it’s not that interesting lol
