The sun is shining here already, always a good start to the day. Frost but no snow!
GS2 and GD day. I asked DD to send GS's wellies, as we want to take him to feed the ducks at the pond (our village has 2 ponds, we are not short of ducks and geese!)

Good morning everyone. No frost here, but high cloud, so no sun yet. But I can hope!

Nanto - you're right a week soon passes. I hope your in-laws are ok after all the bad weather and cold.

Gem, I bet GS2 loves the ducks and geese. I can remember how excited my GSs got when we went to the duck pond! Have a lovely day.

Apart from taking Eva for walkies, I've got nothing planned for today. OH is out tonight, so I shall just have something quick and easy. I often make mushrooms on toast for myself when OH isn't in - he's not keen on them. But I think I might have to make bread first. The marathon wash-up is still in progress, but there's more back in the airing cupboard now! It's surprising how long it's taking, but I know I'll be really pleased when it's all done!!

Morning all, I went to bed early which is rare for me. The 2.5 hour beach walk knocked me out, it was sunny but very windy, but Shiloh had fun. A quick walk for us today, perhaps some ironing 😖. Whatever your doing have a good day.

Gem our boys loved going to feed the ducks , on several occasions I have just about managed to grab the hoods of their coats to stop them getting in with the ducks
GM the pigeons are doing the same on the neighbours roof ,with no luck I'm afraid the females doesn't seem interested in the males courting display

Well sleep seemed to not like me at all last night , I must have in total managed 3 hours so I'm very tired today ,
Done my housework fed the dog then had my shower I don't think I will be doing much today

Oma I don’t know about not doing much today I think it’s all been done have a nana nap, I have cleaned both lounges all sticky fingers gone and the other grandma is coming down next week so a week off although I am seeing them tomorrow invited to theirs for tea , some bits to pick up food wise, one load of washing in , and we are out for lunch a local pub, we live in the rhubarb triangle, grow rhubarb for all over the country so they named the local eatery the same name so that’s where we will be going

Wow that was some walk Libra I do think the fighting with the wind tires you as well , but it will hopefully have cleared your head a bit and you feel better for it

Warfarin clinic is a quick in and out unless people arrive at the same time. You are given a day but any time between 9 am and 1pm. I it just a prick, blood is gathered on a a strip, put into a machine and it gives them your INR reading and from that reading they tell you what amount of warfarin to take. Mine has been up and down like a yo yo but seems to have settled now. Next appt. not for 8 weeks. SIL is investigating a new drug, he has had a stroke and a DVT, in his case blood clotting is inherited from his mother. Mine is for atrial fibrillation

Watch out you folk who live near to York, my GS (father of GGS) is on his way with his brother and friends for his stag weekend. They are going mountain biking in the York Moors but there will probably be a pub crawl in York when they get back from the bike ride, so lock up your daughters. I gave GS2, who has organised this event to bring his brother back in one piece

She has it done every 4 weeks.

Had a lovely leisurely lunch at a favourite pub with a couple of glasses of fizz for me to celebrate! OH was on the fizzy water!

Qwerty.....had some poached rhubarb with my almond creme brulee..It needed a bit more sugar.

Rain on now, so that's me indoors for rest of day.
