You're welcome Qwerty - although perhaps I should have played a lullaby for little Miss M instead.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.
Qwerty, what a shame one slept and one didnt'! Always a risk with twins I suppose.I hope you got a peaceful night in the end.

Games afternoon for us today. Not such good timing coming after 2 GS celebrating days! I offered several dates to friends and this was the one most could make, so today it is! Just a simple lunch, then some board games. There will be 9 of us altogether. I'm looking forward to it.
I will write about it, and the birthday party in my journal, either tonight or tomorrow.

          Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

            Good Sunday morning, everyone.

Nanto - please can we have some of your weather - it's raining here, just for a change! I'd really hoped to get the lawn cut today.

Gem - you've certainly had a busy few days, and I'm sure your afternoon games will be fun, too.

Plant - I hope you're having a lovely morning after yesterday's wedding. I think the morning after a wedding is lovely - everybody's relaxed and if you're staying in a hotel there's the prospect of a lovely breakfast - and you can wear comfortable shoes!!! Enjoy yourself. xx

Qwerty - I hope little Miss M got to sleep eventually and you had chance to relax a bit.

Libra - I hope you slept well too after 3 exhausting weeks, and you will get good news about T.

My planned gardening is now off the menu, although we'll take Eva and Cooper to the paddock if the rain's not too heavy - they could both do with a good run. Not sure what else I'll do. there's a pile of ironing waiting for me, but i might just ignore it!

            Have a good day, ladies.

Morning ladies, it was lovely to sleep in my own bed and I slept until 9.15 a luxury. Two furry creatures haven't left my side, both vying to be on Mum's lap, enjoyed a latte for the first time in 3weeks with breakfast. Some dusting is needed but apart from that hubs has done a splendid job keeping the home up together. Mind I havent looked in corners 😀

Qwerty hope little one finally went to sleep and you managed some yourself.
Daisy forget mowing the lawn blessed raining again.
Plant hope the wedding went with a swing and your not hung over.☺
Wee granny ironing is okay when you have a good iron, mine went kaput a few months ago and hubby was sent on an urgent mission to replace. He bought an all singing and dancing one, reduced to a good price. It's great I whizz through the ironing but it does make me sweat like fury it produces so much steam. 😰
Enyfs a good clear out always makes you have achieved something, and donating to charity gives an opportunity for someone else to bag a bargain.
Oma its a shame you had to miss the party, but you have to keep B safe understandably. Perhaps you'll receive a slice of the cake. 😉
              Gem enjoy your games night.
To anyone I have missed sending love and good wishes for a Happy Sunday.
An easyish day for me, of course DD is never far from my thoughts, but a few weeks to recoup my stamina and I'm sure I will be ready for round 2 😊 but next time I would only stay a week or two. 3 weeks is 1 to many.

Glad you had a good night, LG.

                  Games afternoon sounds fun Gem.

Raining again here, so pleased we did the jobs in the garden when it was dry. We both slept well and had a lie in this morning, all that de-cluttering is hard work. So a lazy day here so far. Have a good Sunday everyone, 🌞

Morning ladies had a busy morning , so just sitting down now , been to shops and done housework and a load of towels ,

Qwerty looking after a dog for 2 weeks will be very strange for you , hope M slept eventually ,
Gem sounds like a really nice day although you must be tired ,
Libra nothing like your own bed

                    Hope Plant enjoyed yesterday ,
Nanto we have watery sun but its cold so my towels are in the tumble
Daisy the dogs need a run you can tackle the ironing later

Just some meat to Vacuum pack today so don't have to defrost the whole lot when we only need half of it , couldn't live without this bit of machinery now , had one for about 8 years and use it almost every day saves a fortune on wasted food
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Morning peeps nice dry day so far but a tad chilly for a lightweight like me😀 anyway I’m resting the kids have
gone for a 2nd breakfast with mum and dad at garden centre , dil did ask if we would like to go for tea but after explaining that we have eldest coming tomorrow night we would like some time alone lol I think she understood , than a call from Dd would we like lunch with them, well our joint was in the oven so declined which did not suit eldest , it does sound like she is grown up when I say eldest but she is only 7 so a bit sensitive when we turn down invites , don’t think she realises in 24 hrs she will be on her way here 🙄
Glad you had a good sleep LG how on earth you managed 3 wks without your breakfast latte I don’t know, I would have to take my coffee machine with me
Gem games are fun you can have a good laugh so enjoy
M was asleep by 9.30 learnt my lesson there no more sleeps when having a sleeepover here 😱 I heard them talking at 7 this morning but chose to ignore lol
Yes Nan2 I fear that will happen another commitment to my long list 🤔
Tomorrow the car has been called in for a couple of problems one to do with airbags and can’t remember the other , luckily we are near a large country park so hoping for decent weather to kill time and a nice pub nearby that does food so smashed it !!!

Shhh I will be as quiet as a mouse just in case Plant is a little worse for wear after the wedding.

Good morning all, I have been busy this morning, I have been very good and done some yoga first thing, then tided up the flat and tackled the creased clothes with that hot ,hissy thing that has a name but escapes me at the moment . Then I put a chicken casserole on and after lunch I plan to do some repotting of the strawberry plants that have over wintered in the grow house .

Qwerty what a shame you had one little one wide awake and one fast asleep . Hope you are not too sleepy this morning.

Oma it was a shame you couldn't attend your brothers 70th but better to be safe than sorry. B has come a long way hasn't he so no good in putting his health at risk

Libra good to hear that you are home and was able to enjoy a nice soft comfy bed. How is DD getting on.

I wasn't a huge Adam Faith fan, OH has a few CDs of his and there are one or two tracks I quite like but I would much prefer Billy Fury and Tom Jones . The Beatles were my absolute favourite.

                        Enjoy Sunday everyone

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

I went to Tesco and by a stroke of luck met a lady I know through dog walking, had forgotten she did dog walking as a business now, so got a card off of her and explained what a help it would be if I have to go to Devon again. It would take a lot of pressure off B. I often see her walking her clumber spaniel with a couple of other dogs, very nice person who I'd be happy to trust with Shiloh. Flicked a duster around apart from cooking tonight, that's my lot for today. Oh no I have forgotten Tilly toodle needs a good grooming, hubs lapsed in that chore and she is going to hate me de matting her 😣

Well the sun didn't last long, but still bright.

Mimi, never beeh a fan of Tom Jones. I liked Billy Fury. Such a shame he died so young.

Just done an online shop for when we get back from holiday.

Not heard from plant yet then.

The wedding was fantastic, the castle was amazing but my GD's bad luck this week continued as we were just approaching the castle GD was driving my car and had to enter the main street in Farnham and when edging out her vision was impaired by an illegally parked van so she gently edged out only to be hit by a car coming down the hill, my lovely new car is now a wreck sitting in the wedding venue car park waiting to be picked up by the recovery vehicle tomorrow. I tried not to cry, GD was very upset of course. I was very shaken up, fortunately her father, was behind us and dealt with the other driver and drove the poor car up the hill to the castle car park.

The wedding was amazing, the organisation by the bride and her mother was unbelievable, sweetie shop for the children, amazing meal, speeches were so good, especially the Best Man GS2, he summed his brother up very well and very funny. GS2 also sang and played his guitar before the dancing started. I did see a young lady chatting him up. I have some pics and will try to upload some tomorrow. We had to out of our rooms by 10am, which was really early so so the family met up in a pub a few miles away, had mainly soft drinks and then said our goodbyes. Baby E was so good, not a sound at the service but couldn't understand why his mother was walking passed him when having pics taken. It was too cold and windy to have many pics outside so the photographer had to take a lot inside.

Shame about the car Plant but glad you are ok. It sounds a day to remember indeed.
LG glad you are home safely and I hope DD is improving. Not A1 today for some reason, so I shall clear off and fester by myself.
