Well its like winter here. Cold, wet and windy.

Done a bit of decluttering this morning.

Just had a shower, it warmed me up.

We have a humdinger of a storm at the moment.Thunder and heavy rain. I went to an craft/embroidery group this morning, we are having a party at WI for the Coronation and we were making table decorations. This afternoon I have been to the village hall to play board games. Now cooking a prawn stir-fry. Feeling stiff after 2 days of the exercises.

Oma, what a shame the waiting list has got longer because of the strike and Easter holidays. I hope the breathlessness improves. I have an echocardiogram on the 23rd, I suppose that will be cancelled.

Nanto, being out most of the day, I am feeling a warm shower would do me good.

Gem, I hope that pain is easing, just be careful.

Dasiy We might be having a pup soon, the representative from Dogs for the Blind came to vet the property today, said it might be June. Sil has to make parts of the boundary secure.

Hallo everyone, it is lovely and sunny here, very windy with it though, that makes it chilly.

Oma, that is a long time to wait for a hospital appointment.

Gem, I hope you managed aqua and that you got everything settled this afternoon.

Plant, take it easy with your exercises.

I have been to the circuit training then I had to take a parcel to the depot, another item sold! Later I went to take something to GD2 then called in at a friends house for coffee, all in all, a busy day and not tired yet.

Daisy, I know what the dog hairs can be like, they get everywhere!

Oma, I do hope you can get a cancellation appointment for your scan. As you say, in the meantime keep taking the tablets, but you must feel that everything is on hold and it's hard to make plans for anything. There used to be an option where you could go to a different hospital if they had shorter waiting times. I don't suppose that still exists, unfortunately.

Lizzie, assuming I'd survived circuit training, that would be me done for the day! You have a lot of energy. There was an item on our news tonight about how many roofs in The Netherlands have solar panels - lots more than here.

Plant, you have been a busy bee. Have you decided what kind of table decoration you're going to make? Do you think the exercises will help once you get over the feeling of stiffness? How exciting if you get a puppy. Just going into the summer will be a good time especially for house training and lead work.

Nanto - decluttering is so satisfying, isn't it! Well done.

Gem, I hope everything went to plan today.

Plant, we didn't get the thunder, but we've certainly had high winds and torrential rain. It felt at dog training as though the roof was about to blow off, and I got home to find 3 fence panels had blown over. I felt sorry for the neighbour because they must have flattened part of his beautiful flower bed. OH has put it back up temporarily - we've both got dogs - and they'll fix it at the week-end.

Good evening. I will catch up with posts tomorrow.

Aquafit was ok. Not as painful as last time.
All went ok this afternoon. 3 death related appointments plus travel were very draining though.
We stopped for tea at a pub on the way home.

Gem, you sound exhausted. An early night, a nightcap and a hot water bottle would be good. Sleep well. xx

Good morning, Daisy, that is true, most of the houses have the panels now, DS2 has them on the garage roof. When we get the renovation done in the apartments, ours could be the end of next year, gas has to go etc, they are talking about solar panels on the roofs, I have said it for years, it must get very hot up there in the summer sun!

I heard the wind during the night but seems to have settled now, according to GD2 it will be 20 degrees next week for them to go to the UK.

I am going to DS2, lunch for his birthday.

I heard on the grapevine it's going to. Be warm next week.

I'm doing fish, chips and mushy peas for dinner.

                        Good morning everyone.

GS3 day today. We will have to say goodbye to Henry today. We are waiting for the vets opening to talk to them.
Hairdresser coming at 9.30. I wish we could cancel but OH really needs hers cutting before the funeral next week.

                        Talk to you all later.

                          Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Nanto, it will be lovely to have some warmer weather.

Gem, I'm so very sorry to hear your worries about Henry. It's huge a wrench when you have to lose a much-loved pet, but coming at such a sad time for you makes it worse. The only consolation is that you will be doing the kindest thing and you've given him a good life. Are you hoping for a vets appointment today? Sending hugs. xxx

Lizzie, we'll have to have the sun out next week for your GD2's trip to the UK.

The storms yesterday took 3 panels out of our back fence, so poor OH has gone out with the trailer to get some replacements, so it looks as though this week-end he and A, the neighbour, will be mending fences! We need to get them done because we've both got dogs. They blew into their garden, flattening their beautiful border. We need to replace two panels in our side fence as well, which that neighbour will help us with.

I am torn between needing to do some jobs around the house and wanting to get on with the gardening. I expect the garden will win. We're out most of tomorrow, so won't get much done then. Everything seems to come at once.

Gemini, what a very sad time for you, Hugs coming your way. How about a few days away after the funeral?

Daisy, I am not sure what training DD and Sil will have to do other than the basics, they will only be looking after the puppy until it goes for training. Sorry to hear about your fence but it did blow a hoolie. We only had one very loud clap of thunder then the heavens opened. This morning we have sun.

No plans for today, unless I get a call from GD1, I might do a bit of gentle weeding if it stays fine. Daisy, we only had to decorate the small crowns that a clever lady made. We were provided with small stamps to stick on, very easy except I got the first one wrong but easily put right. The crowns were red, white and blue and about 4inches high. The WI I belong to are having a Coronation party and these will decorate the tables.

This doctors strike will affect so many people but what can they do to make the Government realise they can’t continue to work for the salary they are paid. A lot of the young doctors have huge debts to pay back.

Oma, I do hope you are not kept waiting too long to see someone about your breathlessness. I have an Echocardiogram booked, wonder if that will be moved. Would you consider going privately to see someone sooner?
