A cold wet and miserable day here from late morning.

Best idea to take jobs more slowly Oma. I know you are used to having it all done early but I think you will get used to the different routine

I was glad to get my reflexology treatment which was postponed due to events.
We were thinking of going to the animal park we have an annual pass for but the weather wasn't up to it really. GS didn't really know what else he wanted to do so OH popped to B&Q on her own. GS and I have watched Finding Nemo, played Lego and a couple of games. He's immersed in kids TV now!

Hallo everyone, it has been lovely here all day, chilly in the wind but sun all day. I have re-potted all the plants that I look after at the centre, it is party week next week and they said it was a good idea to have all the same pots, they had the pots in storage, a lady from the art group said she would help me, we worked well together and they all look very neat!

The man phoned about the fridge, he is coming on Thursday afternoon, he said he knows where I live. If this door doesn't fit right he will phone in and I will get a replacement fridge.

I have seen my blood results, I think they are all ok, I forgot to phone so will do that next week, I don't need any extra medicine so it must be ok.

Oma, take it easy with the cleaning.

Just try to do as little as possible Oma. I spent a lovely day with GD and H, I kep saying it, she is an absolute delight to be with. We planted GD’s tomato plants in grow bags and bought some high duty netting for them to grow up. These six tomato plants are costing me a fortune. Not long now before your appt.

Oma, the centre where I do the voluntary work has its 55th anniversary, a week full of celebrations, I am booked in for necklace making workshop on Monday then a mystery bike ride with lunch on Thursday, the same evening a party for everyone, so, a busy week. There were so many workshops to choose from I could have done more, but, have to find the time!!!

                    Good morning ladies.

Lizzie, good news about your bloods were OK.

We are going into town today, not for anything in particular, just normal shopping, which includes going to the butchers.
Will stop off at the supermarket on the way home.

Hope the weather is better today, it rained constantly from late yesterday morning.

                    Have a good day ladies.

                      Good morning everyone.

It poured with rain last night, so many puddles to avoid when we left the restaurant. A bit like your weather Nan2. Sunny here now though. I hope it stays fine for your shopping.

Gosh Lizzie, busy time ahead for you. Good to know the bloods seem OK.

At least the hospital appear to be doing something Oma.

H is obviously a delight Plant. I love hearing about her

We will be burying darling Henry in the garden today. I want us to ask C next door to do the digging but I'm not sure OH will, she will want to do it.
Photos to print now we have more cartridges, and online paperwork to do re mum.
After that jolly time we are going to friends tonight for fish and chips, which will cheer us up! They are treating us to thank us for keeping an eye on the house when they were away in New Zealand.

                      Have a good Saturday everyone.

God Saturday morning, everyone. The suns shining here and it's warming up a bit.

I'm sorry I didn't catch up on everything last night. I was too cold and tired! Our trip to the vineyard was interesting, although it was much further away than I'd thought. There are two very similar place names, and OH told me the nearest one. It was only when we came to put the address into the sat nav that we realised it was nearer to Portsmouth than Southampton!! The weather couldn't have been worse - rain lashing down until we were on our way home late afternoon, then it eased off a bit. We really hadn't given this outing much thought! I assumed the driver would get an alcoholic 'doggy bag', but the tasting was relatively large glasses. So OH took a tiny sip of each one and gave the rest to me. It was only when we were on the way home that I realised I'd had too much to drink to drive to pick up Eva, so we had to collect her on the way back from the vineyard. OH made it just in time to get changed and go out again. Despite the weather it was a good day out!

I'll catch up here later. OH, our next door neighbour J and the neighbour at the back,A, are all going to work on repairing the fence this morning, so I'll be on coffee-making duty!

Oma, I hate all that gell they have to put on when you have an echo. Good to get it done. H was a little pickle at the garden centre but she is so good really. I have helped my GD with the where with all, it is up to them to fix the netting we bought. The tomatoes are in the growbags now.

Daisy, whatever next, you getting tiddly. Hope the fence goes up okay.

Gemini, not a nice job burying your much loved Henry. You must be very busy leading up to your sad day, have you got a date yet? Have a nice time with your neighbours.

Plant, the funeral for my mum is this coming Thursday, all is organised. Henry is laid to rest in the flower bed, where he loved to sleep and close to us when we sit on the patio. I will paint him a rock like his sisters have.

                                Gosh Daisy, what a day!
