Oma, take care now you are home. Lovely of GS to bring flowers.

I am at DD2's now. Both GC doing their own thing atm so I'm having a cuppa, with soothing hot water bottle in place!
The cleaners have been today so it's very tidy

Oma, hubby always says that to me, about making the house tidy for the burglars.

Miserable here today, don't think its stopped raining at all.
At least i was able to clean the windows inside this morning, without any sun on them.

Daisy, hope OH feels better tomorrow. Same for you Gem.

I asked the nurse why i was there, and she said maybe my doctor had asked them to do a smear test.
She did say if all is well,i won't be given another. I know they usually don't do them once you get to your mid 60's.

Well done GS1 for bringing his much loved GM some flowers. GM’s are not supposed to be ill. Do take care Oma. I hope your GS2’s nose will heal well.

Plant, I hope you've got all your tidying and packing done ready for tomorrow. Wishing you a safe journey and lovely holiday, just in case I miss you in the morning.

Nanto, it's always better to be safe and sure when tests are offered, even if it does seem a bit odd.

Gem, you can't beat a soothing hot water bottle when you're in pain. xx

Oma, that washed out feeling is telling you to rest. You need those naps, and the housework will wait for once. It was thoughtful of GS1 to bring you some flowers, bless him. I hope DS's nose feels better soon.

Well, Cooper blotted his copy book today. Last week he was very reluctant to get into my car to go back home. It took the best part of an hour to get him into the boot. Today he just wasn't having it at all. In the end DS2 and DIL2 had to come and get him. He's a big dog, and doesn't like being picked up, so that wan't really an option. And as DS says, he can raise stubbornness to a whole new level. He's also a dog who likes routine and patterns so we don't want to get into a habit of having issues with him getting into cars. Bad patterns are hard to change. We'll have to come up with a way of breaking this bad habit before it becomes too established.

After they had gone OH had to take a parcel into the village, so he came back with fish and chips for us. Yummy.

We are out today. Farm shop first, then onto the gardec centre,we will eat there, then last stop will be Asda.

Hope those of you feeling under the weather, feel better soon.

            Plant,enjoy your holiday.

              Good morning day ladies.

She is rather a scary fairy Nan2! Enjoy your shopping day.

              Have a lovely holiday Plant

How are you this morning Oma?

              Naughty Cooper Daisy.

              No plans today.
I have booked a massage with DD2s close friend who is a sports massage therapist. I have spoken to her and she has both suffered from and treated clients with sciatica and piriformis syndrome so understands my pain. She has next week off but is very kindly seeing me from home on Good Friday.

              Don't get fooled today ladies!

                Morning Ladies

Plant hope your all sorted and ready for a lovely time xx

When a big dog doesn't want to go into the car it's a nightmare , Storm is usually very good but occasionally he will sit down and not budge , so heavy to lift 😁

                Gem
I do hope she can help with the pain , you have to have some relief you cant go on like that it will wear you out .

I have pottered on this morning doing not much really , a bit dusting that's about it . The breathlessness is still a bother but they said to expect that .
B won't let me do anything else to be honest .

I hope Lizzie is having a nice time with her girls .

Our Martin and Clare taking Finley to Florida today , their flight from Newcastle to Heathrow was cancelled so at 2am this morning they had to set off to drive to Heathrow . Fingers crossed their flight isnt cancelled there too .

Hello everyone. I haven't intentionally missed the chance to play an April Fool's joke on you all! It's just been a busy morning.

Nanto, I think your fairy friend has escaped from a Trolls movie, but she's cute in a funny sort of way and very smiley. Enjoy your day out.

Gem, I do hope DD2's friend can help with the pain. You must be so fed up with it.

Plant, I hope you are having a good journey and aren't caught up in the various traffic jams.

Oma, I don't know how B let you get away with a "bit of dusting", although I know it wouldn't be atomic-shaped clouds of dust like it would here! You really have got to take it easy - I hope you've got a pile of books with TBR on them. Poor Martin and Clare having to drive down to Heathrow like that. I do hope Fin sleeps well in the car and they don't get another cancellation at Heathrow. At least they're not sitting in the queues of traffic at Dover. A friend's son and his young family took 9 hours to get from just north of Leeds to Cornwall yesterday. Everyone seems to be out on the roads.

If Cooper keeps refusing to get into a car it's going to be a problem for us all. He's a creature of habit so once a pattern of behaviour gets established it's hard to change that. I shall ask Pam, our trainer for some advice. Lifting him in isn't easy - he'd panic and 35+ kg of panicking Vizsla isn't a good option.

This morning I took Eva out early, hoping to catch the post with some letters. The collection says 7 am on Saturdays, but I don't think they empty the box until the van comes round in the afternoon. Some friends from Yorkshire called round for coffee, so we had a good chat catching up on all everyone's news. The the dog food order arrived, and a neighbour popped round to borrow the lawn roller. Contractors had just dug up his lawn to put the ducting in for their new broad band. So we've just had lunch and I now need to go and sort out the freezer. It's cold and damp here - so not looking forward to doing the freezer in the garage.

Gem, sorry to hear the news about your mum.

Oma, hope the family managed to get away ok.

We had a good day out shopping, but by heck it was like winter.
The only thing i couldn't get was some frozen onion rings in the supermarket.

We had the chaplain, a very nice lady. It's what mum would want and I do think she was aware of it to an extent.
Drs think this will be the end for mum but she has proved everyone wrong so many times we can't know.
We are on the way home now as mum is peacefully sleeping and I am in so much pain.
I have said my goodbyes if this should be the end
DD2 and 3 are staying a bit longer.
We will see what the morning brings.

Such sad news Gem, but sometimes you know its the beginning of the end.
We just knew when it was time for both mam and dad to go.

Gem, I'm so sorry to read about how poorly your Mum is. I'm sure she knew the Chaplin was there, and perhaps it is her time, but as you say she has recovered many times before. Sending you loving hugs. xxx
