Good morning ladies, I will be the first! I have plans for today, I am going to visit a butterfly zoo.
https://www.vlindersaandevliet.nl/english. A young man from the sport school imports and breeds butterflies and last week one hatched and it is the first time outside of Australia, they were in the news etc, so, decided to cheer myself up and go and have a look. I used to go when the GC were small, it isn't far from here.
image.pngโ€‹ It even has my name, it is a Cairns Birdwing butterfly, but that is a coincidence.

          Good morning everyone.
Thank you to Daisy for giving us this lovely new chat space, while the other half of admin swanned off on holiday

Lizzie that is a very pretty butterfly, and lovely that it shares your name Enjoy your trip to the butterfly house. Due to my moth phobia I never go into one, but wait outside for OH

Oma, let's hope MIL is in one of her better moods!

September has dawned warm and sunny here, but according to the forecast rain is on its way tomorrow.

Lizzie, the butterfly zoo sounds lovely - just the place to unwind and watch them fluttering around. How lovely that the new one shares your name.

                Gem, enjoy your day!

Nanto, I hope you get your jobs done and can put your feet up.

Oma, I hope MIL is ok today.

I want to get a couple of loads of washing done as it's due to rain tomorrow, and I may have the girls as well. Somehow we didn't finalise plans for them, so I'll see later.

I cleaned the small oven, had to use it for a rhubarb pie yesterday
It wouldn't fit in the air fryer.
                    Also cleaned the microwave.
                    Then,just general dusting and hoovering.
Going to have a cuppa in the garden with hubby soon.

I enjoyed the butterflies, the place is twice the size it was a few years ago and so many butterflies, fantastic colours! It was very humid of course, like a tropical forest!

I put a load of washing in before I walked Eva, and then a load of towels, so there's only a small load of darks left and I can do those any time. I felt quite pleased to have caught up at last!

I've cut the lawn this afternoon. It had grown quite long with even the small amount of rain, and it's nice and green - apart from the bare patches!

Oma, perhaps MIL sometimes realises she's pushing her luck, but whatever the reason, I'm glad she was in a good mood.

Nanto, I had breakfast in the garden this morning and was thinking there may not be many more mornings warm enough to sit out in t-shirt and shorts. I'm glad you're making the most of the weather as well.

I didn't recognise many Daisy, you could take a chart with you, I did enjoy walking round though, even if I was sweating. The plants etc are beautiful. Then all the butterflies fluttering around.

Oma, your MIL must have regrets about upsetting her DD the other day.
