Gemini, I am quite concerned about my foot and leg in fact I have just got an appt. For 11.30 at the surgery. I take blood thinners and wonder if it is a clot. My calf is quite painful to touch and swollen, my foot isn’t atm. I sat most of yesterday with my foot and leg up.

Gemini, very wise not to trust the post with important documents

    I will pop back later

        Morning ladies

        Plant
very wise to see the Dr especially if your leg is painful , best to be safe than sorry as they say ,

        Nanto
I can get on better and quicker when hubby not around do you ?

        Gem
I wouldn’t trust the post with important documents the way it is at the moment , if you can deliver by hand it’s always wisest .I agree with Daisy get a receipt from solicitor too as proof you handed them in .

        Plant
I hope the weather is better at your end to get on with your gardening
Have you heard from the Marathon runner yet this morning ? I bet she’s tired 😁

Been a stressful morning so far,
My BIL who was in hospital a few weeks ago with Heart failure hasn’t been well for a few days and took a bad turn this morning ,
Paramedics came and called a Ambulance, they think he may have a bad infection ,
As he has had 3 previous Heart attacks and then the Heart failure a couple weeks ago they thought it best he was on intravenous antibiotics so have taken him in .

My sister does not cope well so I spent half hour on the phone calming her down till my oldest niece got there ,
My other niece went with her Dad to the hospital, my sister is Agoraphobic so couldn’t go with him .
just got to wait now for any news , he’s in the best place though .

Just read Len Goodman from Stricly has Died .

Good morning, Plant I hope your leg is OK, is the skin shiny?

A quick catch up, GD1 busy studying. I have been to the town hall to apply for my new license, of course the photo I had with me couldn't be used so I had to have one taken there, after a few trys with a nice young man to help me, we got it right!

Oma, I hope your BIL is improving in the hospital, a carry on all round!

Gem, you will enjoy your weekend away. You deserve it after all you have been through lately.

I won't say too much about the weather, just say it is cold and wet!

It has been dry and fairly sunny most of the day. Apart from the time I had to walk from as close as OH could park to the solicitors in town. It rained, then it hailed. I can't walk fast atm, and I hadn't taken a coat!!
                Bright and sunny again now.

BIL has a chest and water infection , he was quite delirious this morning now we know why .
Checked his heart that's OK . Keeping him on Antibiotics drip till tomorrow see how he is then .
My sister is a lot calmer this afternoon now she knows he's OK.

Gs been for tea he's just gone to pick his girlfriend up .

I can certainly get things done quicker when i'm on my own.
Didn't get round to doing the bedding and upstairs cleaning.
I helped hubby with some things in the garage before he went out,and by the time i'd had my shower,it would have been a rushed job.
Will get it done in the morning,i will have more time then.
I decided to declutter the cupboard under the stairs, sadly there was nothing i could get rid of.

Nanto, at least you tried to declutter the understairs cupboard.

Oma, your sister must have been very worried about your BIL. It's good they've diagnosed the problems and he's getting treatment. Will your sister be ok at home on her own, or will one of your nieces stay with her?

Lizzie, how long does your new licence last?

Gem, what bad luck you caught the downpour, and no coat either! Mind you if you'd been here you would have had coat, umbrella, wellies and probably scarf and gloves as well! After a reasonable start the weather closed in and it threw it down for most of the day. I didn't even take Eva out until after 8 pm, yet DS2, who only lives 8 miles away only had a light shower! It's been really cold as well.

We're out for the day tomorrow - a trip to a gardens on Cranborne Chase which is an AONB covering parts of Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire. Then on to a jigsaw factory, which I'm sure will be interesting. We'll drop Eva off at DS2's on the way so she'll have a nice day with Cooper.

Good morning, Daisy the license is for 5 years, another medical etc at 80 if I need it renewing and if I am still here!

I went to a DIY place with GD1 yesterday, I finally got the white was stain I need for the kitchen door, I have been planning on doing it a long time, I got it all sanded etc when we got back to will get it done today.

The new fridge is being fitted today, so, I have that to empty when I come home from the gym, I have pain in my groin, must have pulled a muscle, I had it a few years ago as well, I will see how it goes today, it isn't as bad as it was on Friday so could be healing.

Daisy DS1 and family travel by train from Brighton to London this morning, they stay there for 4 nights I think then back to Brighton and travel home on Sunday, it is his birthday today, 55 years old!

I hope you enjoy your day out Daisy and that the weather is good for the gardens, a jigsaw puzzle factory will be interesting.

                            Good morning everyone.

Nan2 I know what you mean by getting more done when you are on your own. When my OH is away on a golf trip for a night or two I get things done in the house that I wouldn't normally. She doesn't stop me doing anything so I have no idea why!!

                            Have a good day Daisy

Hopefully the groin pain is on it's way out Lizzie.

All those of us with aches pains and aliments need putting in a bag and shaking up, as my grandmother would have said!

                            Sunny and windy outside here.
Library morning and GS1 from school this afternoon.

Gemini, my mother used to say that and I certainly need putting in a bag and shaking.

Daisy, I hope it stays fine for your garden visit, the jigsaw factory should be interesting

Lizzie, I hope the pain in your groin is on its way out.

I have an appt for an echocardiogram this morning so must get a shift on.
