The scan went to plan results will be sent to consultant.
Lovely young man did it , asked if I wanted a chaperone I said no I was fine .

DD SIL and GS1 went to look at flats in Leeds today to buy for when GS1 goes in September .
Looked at several but one stood out in a row of Victorian terrace houses ,
A upper floor one , the pictures are good .
DD said it looked ideal GS loved it itโ€™s next to train station and a 5 minute walk from the Uni so they have put a offer in .
They intend selling it on after GS finishes uni so a good investment . Fingers crossed the offer is accepted .

Oma, glad the scan went to plan.
      Hope DD offer is accepted.

We had a lovely roast chicken dinner today while we were in town.

Hubby buried our cat where she like to sleep. We have daffodils planted over her.

I still haven't caught up with everything! I'm off for an early night. I've pulled a muscle in my shoulder and it's very painful - bed and hot water bottle sound good ideas!

OH and the neighbours got the fence repaired, and I took Eva for a group walk in the Forest. There were about 12 dogs there, including a few barky ones. Eva was very good but pulled a bit on the way back to the car, which didn't help my shoulder!

Good morning everyone, Daisy, your shoulder will be painful, take it easy.xx You will all be pleased the fence is repaired.

Oma, I hope the offer on the flat is accepted, Storm will miss GS when he goes to college.

Gem, you will be able to sit out on the patio with memories of the cats.xxx

I went to Delft yesterday morning, on my way home an English couple in a camper followed their sat nav to the camping in Delft, the only thing is the road has been closed to traffic for 20 years! Maybe more, it happens so often, I stopped and gave them the directions, I hope they had booked in as it is full.

I came home and got my windows done on the outside, on the balcony it was like summer, the other side was a cold wind, they are now lovely and bright. A lot in the flat have help, my neighbour was telling me people over 73 years of age can get help and only pay a certain amount a month, I think โ‚ฌ19, I told her I will do it myself as long as I can do it.

Daisy, ouch for your shoulder. Hope you get some relief soon.
Glad all the fencing is now repaired.

We will be getting the kitchen prepared today, ready for nephew coming tomorrow.
He's a painter and decorator by trade, but it will take 2 days to do.
We have a big kitchen and there is a lot of cutting in to do.

If we are busy, dinner might be just a pizza.

              Good morning everyone.

Oh Daisy, pulled muscles are painful, do rest and keep up the heat and painkillers. Warm bath or shower is helpful too.

Oma lucky GS1 having parents who can buy a flat for his uni time. DD1's best friends parents were able to do that in Edinburgh. The friend started the same uni as DD but 2 years later so DD got to share the beautiful flat for her last 2 years there.

Nan2, let us see pics of your kitchen when it's finished!

Lizzie, that English couple would have been very glad of your help!

The evening at our friend's house was lovely. We talked about mum and our dear Henry, and dogs they have had to say goodbye to, but mostly it was nice chat and some laughs too. It did us good.
No firm plans today but a few things to be getting on with.

I have to pop out to deliver something, apart from that probably some weeding. My DD and Sil are looking after their three GC today. H will like having the other two there.

Nan2, It is quite an upheaval to have the kitchen decorated, a lot of things to remove and then put back. Pizza sounds a good idea

Gemini, an evening with your friends was a good idea with all the sadness in your life at present

Daisy, I hope your pulled muscle is a bit less painful today. Do you know how you did it?

Oma, your GS is very lucky having accommodation whilst he is at Uni. Will he share it with a friend?

Good Morning ladies everyone sounds so busy I've enjoyed reading all your news.
I spent yesterday relaxing after my busy day at Ladies Day at Aintree,I was surprised how easy it was to get to the restaurants from the car parks they had laid on buses to make the walk easier for us older ones lol.I had a very early start 5.30am picked up at 6.45 then off to DDs house in Lpool for breakfast she is such a good host.
Any photos are on my DDs FB page as you know I have a problem uploading pics in any shape or form.
The only downfall was the food it was a flop if I'm honest but the waiters and waitresses where magnificent they never stopped all day.

Today my DDs friend is calling in to take us down to the River Front for coffee and a good old chat & catch up she is the friend DS1 went to LV with there is no chance of a relationship they are really good pals which he needs at the minute.

Liverpool is so busy getting ready for Eurovision there is a 9 day music celebration leading up to the actual contest so it will be a good time for the City in regard to visitors.

Enjoy the rest of the day must dash off and make myself presentable xxx

                      Good Sunday morning, everyone.

I'm still trying to catch up and I'm looking forward to reading everyone's news later today. This morning we've had our Sainsbury delivery and are just off out with Eva. We're meeting up with Cooper and family at the paddock to give them a run together and see how Cooper is about getting back in the car. We thought it was good to try a happy place for him. And it's raining!

                                Everybody seems very busy!

Oma, did your MIL enjoy her birthday? I hope she likes and enjoys her outing on Tuesday. I'm sure your friends and co-grandparents of GS1 had a lot to chat about. It's a big step, going off to Uni, but great that GS and his best friend will be together, even though they're studying at different places.

Nanto, it's exciting having the kitchen decorated, but it does mean a lot of work preparing and putting everything back together again. It will be worth it. I'm glad you've had a nice day with unexpected visitors. I shall look forward to seeing before and after pics of your kitchen, please.

Glam, it's all happening in Liverpool, isn't it! What a pity the food was so poor for Ladies' Day, but it sounds as though you enjoyed the occasion. Did you have a little flutter or two?

Plant, I bet your DD and SIL have had a tiring day with three lively little ones to care for - but I'm sure they thinks it's worth it. Those early years soon pass and they're teenagers before you know it.

Gem, you needed that evening with your friends. I'm sure it did both of you good. I'm sorry to hear your back's so painful - did you get a rest today?

Lizzie, I bet that couple thought it was their lucky day, having a bi-lingual English lady coming to their aid. At this time of year it's amazing what a difference it makes, depending which way a room is facing. Well done on getting your windows done outside.

Well, our morning didn't exactly go to plan. We decided to get to the paddock before Cooper so Eva could have a run round and warm up a bit, but the owners and her sister were busy bagging up compost for the sister's new garden. So OH gave them a hand to carry the bags to the sister's car while I kept Eva on her lead. Then I got a message from DIL2 to say Cooper wouldn't get in their car on their drive! Just refused point blank, so he got a walk round the block instead. Eva had a good run and has hardly moved off the sofa since! This afternoon we went round to some friends to collect two bags of frozen dog food they had kindly put in their freezer over the Easter week-end when I ran out of freezer space! We stayed and had a cup of tea with them and a good catch up. They had been away for a few days with their family to celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary.

My shoulder is still painful, but comes and goes a bit. Heat definitely helps, and I got some Radox stuff for the bath. Too tired for it tonight, but something to look forward to in the morning.
