Good morning everyone. It's a bit breezy, dull and chilly here this morning, but at least we've said goodbye to what has seemed a long, dreary January.

Oma - sending hugs. Bring out the happy memories of your sister today if you can. She wouldn't have wanted sadness, I'm sure.

Nanto - it's much easier to get on with things when you have the house to yourself for a couple of hours occasionally. I hope you've nearly finished at dad's house now.

Gem - a busy day for you. Did you get everything you wanted at IKEA (sorry I haven't read yesterday's posts yet!) Have a nice chat with M this morning, and enjoy your after school with GS1, including the martial arts.

Cooper went back home yesterday afternoon. His family were very torn, missing him, but it's been easier to help GD1 around without him joining in. He was so excited and gave DS2 and GD1 lots of kisses! I made GD1 a "get well" chocolate cake, which she was delighted with. She had had a lovely get well card from all the girls in her class, and tonight one of her friends is going to Face Time her - she's missing them. She was a little bit better, but not sure when she will be fit for school. Her form room is up 3 flights of stairs and she can't manage the stairs at home yet without resting part way. It seemed quiet here without Cooper, but Eva has slept well!

I'm going out for coffee this morning - just into the village with a group of neighbours, and I've got some washing in. It was nice not being woken up at silly o'clock by being prodded with a wet nose! Cooper, not OH!!!

Good morning Gemini. Enjoy your time with your friend and am pleased to see you will not be participating in the martial arts.

Oma I hope your neighbour behaves herself this time taking her tablets. You must have been very close to your sister.

Quiet here today, gentle breeze and sunshine. I dropped some shopping into the covid family yesterday after bowls, they will be able to break out soon. I think my DD will child mind H on Wednesday. I am considering a trip to John Lewis today, just considering. I will pop back later to see what the other ladies are up to

Good morning, rain here at the moment but at least the wind has dropped.

Gem, I did sleep well thanks without the wind howling and my leg hurting!

Daisy, it will be quiet for you with just the one dog to keep an eye on. Your family would all enjoy the chocolate cake.

Oma, you will remember your sister, even after 18 years, it will seem just like yesterday!xxx

I have been to take some things to the second hand place then on to the Makro for a bra! All the talk about bra's and I remembered I used to like the bra's from there so I went and got one, I will see what i think to it, it does fit, I even tried it on there, which I don't usually do. They had a lot in the sale but, I didn't even look to see what there was.

Daisy, dads house is more or less done. The furniture thats still in is staying until after the funeral.
                Its all spoken for though.
Hope you enjoyed your coffee out.

Oma, i'm sure you will have lovely memories of your sister. Treasure them.

Plant - did you go to JL today? Sometimes it's nice just to browse round, isn't it. I'm glad you've got a date for your hand op, but what a pity it clashes like that. Still, we'll all be glad when that's done and dusted for you. xx

Nanto I'm pleased for all your sakes that Dad's house it almost done, and you won't have to find homes for his furniture. It's such a sad task and you must have spent such a lot of time there, helping him and mum as you did. xx

Lizzie - a well-fitting bra is like treasure, isn't it - a very good find. It's been extra quiet here because Eva has slept most of the day! Apparently, Cooper has, too.

Oma - I'm an only child, so it's quite hard to know how sad you must have been to lose your sister when you were so close, but watching my GDs together I can see how much they mean to each other. Sending you hugs. xx

                    Thank you Daisy ,
I still have my oldest sister who I text every morning to tell her I love her and we tell each other what we are doing that day
, losing both our Sister and Brother made us realise how much we mean to each other ,
I haven’t seen her as much as usual with the pandemic so when we get together it’s amazing 😁

Poor Eva must have been worn out to sleep most of the day 😂😂 How is GD ? Xx

Oma, how lovely that you and your oldest sister are so close and keep in touch every day. I bet you've always got lots to talk about.

I'll update on GD on YEO.

This morning our long-planned tree arrived for the front garden. I knew the trunk would be about 6-8cm. what I didn't expect was it's about 7 ft tall! OH and I wrestled the roots into a big bucket of water and then tied it to OH's shed so it wouldn't blow over in the wind. we'll plant it tomorrow, wind permitting!

Then I just had time for a quick shower and get ready to go out with 3 of our neighbours. We walked into the village. The cafe we usually go to "wasn't ready to open yet" (after 11 o'clock!) so we went elsewhere. We had a lovely relaxed morning, chatting and catching up on all our news, and we watched 7 or 8 donkeys solemnly walking in single file up the high street. OH had made lunch by the time I got home, bless him. I managed to get some painting done on the hare picture this afternoon, so nice relaxed day!

Aqua aerobics for me this morning, library this afternoon. My friend T offered to pick me up this morning.

                          Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone. A lovely sunrise this morning - I hope it means a sunny day ahead, fingers crossed.

Gem - enjoy your busy day. It's nice to have a lift sometimes, isn't it.

Oma - your new story is brilliant - and definitely not too long - I want a whole book, please.

I'm just getting ready and then we'll go and plant the tree. I think we're in total disagreement about the best way to stake it though! Then this afternoon it's dog training.

Have a good day everyone. Chat later. x

                              Well i got here eventually.

I've been rabbiting away on the phone, then the same in the post office.
                              Hence, the rabbit graphic.

Should be a more normal day today. Getting to like the normal days.

Ordered some shoes from Pavers a few days ago. Had an email to say they are arriving today.

Good morning, Nanto. You've been up and about early, and rabbiting is good. Enjoy your normal day, and I hope the shoes are just what you wanted. Pavers are very comfortable, aren't they! I hope yours are more comfortable than these look, though!
