WG still celebrate as after all it still is your Anniversary even though he sadly isn't with you , big hugs and remember all the wonderful years together xxx

Plant you never have enough wrapping no matter how much you buy

Well we went to the Doggy party but had to leave early with most of the food boxed up .
Storm became very stressed with all the little dogs barking , his tail went between his legs his ears went back and he was panting heavy .

I took him outside and had a little walk and he picked up as soon as we were away from the noise ,
As soon as I took him back in he got stressed again , so we decided it wasn't worth putting him through that .

To be honest the noise of all the barking gave me a headache never mind the dog .

The bigger dogs were fine it seems to be all the little dogs that were making the noise .
Storm is a very quiet dog it was too much for him .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

I'm not much of a party person (unless with close friends or family) so I know how Storm feels!
As you say Oma, it's not meant to be stressful for him, best thing to have taken him home.

        Oma,hope B feels better soon.

Got all the shopping i wanted today. Just the usual king of stuff really.
Bought hubby a fig tree from the garden centre. Its what he asked for.

        Foggy tonight,and quite cool.
Hope i sleep well tonight. Busy day tomorrow.
Hubby wants to get the decorations up, i want to make some fruit cakes.
No doubt i'll find other jobs as well.

Poor Storm, not quite up his street. I sure he enjoyed the food later. I don’t like yappy dogs.

WeeGranny - I'm glad you had fizz in the fridge. I hope you were able to spend some time with happy memories of your 50 years together, despite your loss. Thursday will be hard, I'm sure, and you will be in my thoughts. What a pity your sister-in-law isn't well enough to join you, but I hope it helps having your brother with you for a few days. I would have felt the same about going to the restaurant - one of their take-aways was a good idea. Sending hugs. xxx

Gem - I always have too much or not enough wrapping paper - I never get it even close, I'm always way out!

Plant - good luck with the table runner. I think the trouble with little dogs people often pick them up for almost any reason. When we had the Yorkies as puppies we decided we would pretend they were big dogs, and too heavy to pick up. They only barked when someone came to the door.

Oma - Poor Storm. It wasn't worth staying for him to be frightened by all the noisy little dogs with small dog syndrome. How is B tonight?

Nanto - I'm sure your OH will be pleased with the fig tree. I think they are lovely.

                Good morning ladies.

That's a lovely graphic Nan2. Did you sleep OK?

GS1 did his belt grading yesterday and got his yellow belt, which he is very happy about. He will be awarded it officially at his class on Tuesday when I take him
His poor mum started to be sick yesterday evening and was sick several times during the night and feels rotten this morning.

GD and GS2 are coming for a sleepover as their parents are having an anniversary night away. We are having roast chicken.
OH and I will pop to Dunelm this morning for a light bulb for a lamp I bought my mum from there, then I can wrap it. Sainsbury's delivery tomorrow morning, so I need to update that today.

                Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

                  Good Sunday morning everyone.

Thank you for the lovely bright graphic, Nanto. I hope your busy day includes some nice things.

Gem - I'm so glad GS1 got his yellow belt. Oh dear, his poor mum being sick. I hope it's just a 24 hour thing and she feels better soon. A busy day for you with GD and GS2 having a sleepover. I hope you get what you order from Sainsbury's. I ordered a new tooth mug for our main bathroom last week. They sent a soap dish! The delivery chap and I had a good laugh about that one!

We're finishing doing Christmas decorations today, and making beds up and dealing with the ironing pile. I doubt I'll be ironing much of it - my arm is too painful again this morning - but I need to get it all out of the way! I washed things like cushion covers and throws yesterday and it was nice enough to hang them out to dry. We'll have to hide all the Christmas presents as well - the girls are coming for the day tomorrow!

Lizzie - I'm sorry to hear you are in lockdown again. There must be a lot of disappointed people. Will your Christmas be able to go ahead as planned? I do hope so. xx

I hope everyone's day goes well. xx

                    Morning ladies ,
B still unwell its more his chest now coughing for England ,

Gem well done to GS I bet he is really proud of himself , his poor Mum though , I do hope she gets over it quickly
Such a lot going around at the minute you don't know if they are bugs or Covid its so confusing .

Daisy if the ironing isn't important put it in a cupboard and do it another time ,
If my DD has lots she puts it away and takes a little pile out every now and then iron's it then goes for another pile , she said that way it doesn't seem like a mountain as she can only see the little pile she takes out

Lizzie I do hope you can still have a good Christmas , looks like Lockdown might happen on Boxing day for us if I have read it right ,
We getting such conflicting news though you don't know if your coming or going .

DD took Storm on a long quiet walk in the park when we came home she said he was so much happier ,
Flopped onto his bed when they got home and slept almost 3 hours

Im going to pop to Aldi when they open for a few things , all the housework is done Towels in the wash and floors washed so nothing else to do today
Have a good day ladies xxx

Good morning all. Sorry to hear B is still unwell, Oma. Lots of coughs around here too. Well done to your GS Gem, I remember DD and DS getting their belts many many years ago. I read about your lockdown Lizzie, hope you still have a good Christmas, goodness knows what’s going to happen here!

Went to my knit and natter at the library yesterday, we socially distanced and wore masks, only 4 of us so fingers crossed. The library was not busy, unlike last week, so I think people are staying home more. The village itself was also very quiet, usually fairly busy on a Saturday morning.

Nothing happening here today, another quiet day indoors for me. Have a good day everyone 🌞

Good morning, yes Daisy, back in lockdown! The Christmas meets we had planned should be allowed to go ahead, if we all steer clear of the virus that is. The towns and cities were so busy yesterday that they had to close the roads, there was no parking available. Everyone trying to get what they wanted before the lockdown.

Gem, well done to GS1 and I hope that your DD is soon feeling better. You will enjoy having the GC to stay.xxx

Enfys, we will manage to enjoy the Christmas, a very difficult time again though. Oma, it is all very conflicting, what we all can do and not do! Have you phoned a doctor about B???

I am going to the neighbours, problems with the code for Spain, to be honest, I would stay home!!

                          Morning ladies.

We have just come back from a very foggy, cold cemetery. We have put a few little Christmas trees on the family graves. On my dad's memorial plaque DIL has placed a handmade evergreen spray with the name Gramps on it .He would have loved it .
We are now back home drinking a very welcomed cup of coffee.

On Lizzie, lockdown down again! These are words we were all hoping not to ever hear again.

Oma how is B . Have you been able to see a dr ?

Daisy rest that arm, step away from the ironing

We don't have much planned for today .
Next week OH has an appointment with the chiropodist on Monday and I have an appointment at the hairdresser on Tuesday, fingers crossed 🀞 You never know from one day to another what will happen next.
My heart sinks when I hear that Boris is making an announcement at 5pm

                          Have a good day everyone
Bring me sunshine in your smile.
