Good morning Nanto, and all who follow later. I like the chirpy little bird - very cheerful.
It's all go here this morning. The workmen didn't come yesterday, but are due here in a few minutes. The skip is full so we should get another one today, the paving slabs are due to be delivered and OH has to go out this morning and again this evening. I think I might be on tea-making duties.

Good morning everyone
Thank you for our first graphic of the new Drop in Nan2.
Daisy I like this new section. Today and Daily Drop are nearer the top now Oma
Happy GS and dog time!
Library for me this afternoon. I was to meet a friend for lunch first but she has had to postpone, so I have a free morning.

Good morning everyone, Daisy, I have just looked at the history of the windmill and the sails were taken off in 1931 as it wasn't used any more as a windmill, what a shame. He was telling me the flat part of the roof is tiled and the sides are thatched. He does as much work himself as he can.

Busy day yesterday, spent the day, returning goods, posting, called for a coffee at the garden centre, dropped off a raffle prize for a friends McMillan coffee morning, chemist but it was too busy and finished off dropping into a friend for a cuppa and a chat. Quieter day planned for today.
Oma, your GS knows which side his bread is buttered. Enjoy your day with Storm.
Lizzie, that is a very interesting building. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good moaning each.
All busy early today! I’m still loafing around in my dressing gown, but there is washing in the machine and chicken defrosting.
Hospital appointment for me today, I’m hoping they will tell me when my next op will be but I won’t hold my breath.
What a shame they took the sails off Lizzie. There is a working windmill in Kent (or at least it was). I must investigate when I visit family next.
Must stir my stumps, have a good day gels.Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.

GMeg, we have a working windmill just up the road from us, it is still being used, I took GD's for a viewing but when I saw the steps I stayed on the first level and let them go up, we can buy the flour and it is delicious for pancakes etc.
I went inside the "sawn off" one the other day, I have cycled past for so many years and wondered what it was like inside, very small and reminded me of a museum, the couple still live there so they must be used to it after 53 years, I read they have two grown up sons so it was a family home.
Oma, what a smart young man.
The sun has just come out after being dull all the morning, I am having a lazy day, well, trying to, I will see if it eases the pain in my foot.
