Daisy that twig will blossom come the spring ,
I started to re read the Harry Potter books but kept reading the same bit over and over so gave up at the end I just couldn’t concentrate , I pottered about and tried again but it didn’t work .
Lizzie it was more my arms and body that was cold even though I did have a silk dressing gown on , my feet rarely get cold 😁
Hope the treatment lasts x
Plant do you think you will look for a new sun room ?
Gem enjoy your evening , I hope it went well with the solicitor,
MIL was in a OK mood this morning although as soon as we got there she found jobs for us to do ,
Wanted B to take the fence posts out where the wind had blown the fence down,
He sawed them off at ground level but they cemented in so couldn’t dig them out , only 4 of them but he isn’t up to that type of work now .
Then I had to ring around find someone to come clean her oven , managed to find one company that could do it next week , booked that then she wanted me to ring back as 9am was too early , The man had said it was the only available slot or she would have to wait a month , She moaned about it but accepted it .
She wanted money out of the cash machine in the Co op over the road and doesn’t like using it so I offered to go over with her to use it ,
she huffed and puffed about it then changed her mind
I said I would go but no she wasn’t waiting for it so no rush , so why make a fuss 🙄

Oma, I will have a look in the Spring to see what the prices are. Some companies erect them some don’t.
I am just back from Waitrose and that will be the last crowded place I will go until after the op. I will not go to my ex Guiders on Tues or bowling next week. I do not want to expose my self to catch Covid and have to cancel the op.
What a case your Mil is, you are very good to just take her as she is from day to day.
Daisy, it will be fun to watch it grow, I am still not sure what the tree is.What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Oma, that sounds very much how my mum used to be.
Daisy OH will just have to be patient
Plant, good idea to avoid places until you get the op done with .
It's good that the physio is helping, Lizzie.
Well I phoned the solicitor this morning, as I had been asked to do. He wasn't free of course so would phone me back. I said before 1.30 was best as I would be driving or doing school pick ups after then. No phone call. I guess I will have to phone again on Monday .
We are all having Indian tonight. Our friends have placed the order and we will pick it up on the way.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Gem, sorry the solicitor didn't ring you back.
Hope you all enjoy your indian meal.
Oma, what a contrary Mary your MIL is.
It's been a strange day for me, well a strange morning.
Hubby was out, as he always is on a Friday morning.
I can't get used to not going to dads, and having a little natter with him, before i started cleaning.
If my clinic appointment hadn't been cancelled, i probably wouldn't have felt it so much.
Had a bit of rain today, and i'm sure there was sleet in it.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Oma - your MIL likes things how she likes them, doesn't she. She's very lucky to have you and B helping her. Stay warm this evening, whatever you're reading.
Gem - what a nuisance you didn't get to speak to the solicitor. Better luck for Monday. xx Enjoy your Indian. What are you having?
Nanto - you've had a routine for years and now it's all change. I'm not surprised things feel strange. Perhaps you felt it more today after all the old photos and reminiscing yesterday. Sending hugs. xx
I'm more confident than OH that the tree will soon start sprouting some buds. He still tends to think if something isn't in full flower it's dead or on its way out! It rained this morning, and the ground was too wet to do any gardening, but I think I'd have given up anyway. There's been a biting cold wind, even though the sun shone. I took Eva out this afternoon and was glad to get home despite being well wrapped up. I haven't got much done today - just haven't felt like it. Tomorrow's another day, though!
Sleep well everyone.

Good morning everyone.
Don't get carried away at the farm shop Nan2! I can understand how hard it is at your FIL's without him there. It was very hard for my DDs and me when we had to go to my mums so much at first. and she was still alive. It will get easier xx
Oh Lizzie I loved that song, but so sad!
No plans for us today. We may have to do a little shopping, but I may do it tomorrow instead when OH will be playing golf.
The Indian meal was lovely. We got the takeaway from the newish small restaurant in our village. We usually use the bigger one. The chicken passanda was perfect for me, no chilli which makes me ill, but full of flavour. I shall order that again!
Happy Saturday everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good Saturday morning everyone.
Lizzie - I will have to listen to that song - I don't remember it.
Plant - sorry, I meant to say the twig is a crabapple! You're wise being careful before your op. I would do the same.
Nanto - I often end up juggling freezers! I did a massive dog food order because with having Cooper I've almost run out, but I hope I haven't misjudged it and over-ordered! It's due this morning. Enjoy your morning.
Gem - glad you enjoyed the chicken passanda. Have a lovely day doing something enjoyable.
I need to do some housework today. It's very cold but the sun is shining, so I might also get round to doing the garden instead!
I hope everyone is ok.

Morning ladies ,
Gem I’m not good with chillies either I need a mild curry nothing too spicy but tasty,
Daisy it’s very cold at the minute isn’t it even wrapped up it seems to get to you ,
You will know the song as soon as you hear it , Honey I miss you , it’s about his wife dying young and the tree she planted very sad ,
Nanto enjoy your day out , it’s tempting to buy too much then you get home and have to fight with the freezer to get it in
We ordered new solid wood worktop to replace the one on our Breakfast bar as it isn’t quite wide enough for the new Bar stools to get comfortably under ,
They said would deliver today , thinking we would have plenty time we sat chatting this morning then at 6.45 the van pulled up
The young Polish lad who brought it in said they had set off from London at 2 am this morning and had already done two deliveries before us , so someone had rude awakening 😁
Just washed my paintworks down and gave a clean through , B in shed sanding the worktop down before it’s fitted ,
I helped carry it through and nearly put my back out it’s so heavy .

I have just lost my post.
Meeting Dil for brunch at a garden centre and catch up on news.
Oma, that was a rude awakening. One job always leads to another.
Daisy, crab apple sounds good. Will you make jelly with the fruit?
Nanto your routine has certainly changed since both your Mil and Fil died. I expect you feel a bit lost. Have an enjoyable shop.
Gemini, chicken passander sounds good. Not keen on very hot curries myself. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
