Good Wednesday morning everyone. We've had a beautiful pink sunrise this morning and no frost. It still feels chilly though.
Thank you for asking, everyone. I'm not feeling great, but it is just a heavy cold, so I'm going to have a quiet day doing as little as possible. I'm not going to dog training - I haven't got the energy and anyway, I don't want to spread my germs around.
Plant - enjoy WI and seeing the GGD's later on. I think the bed seemed a bit more comfortable last night even though I still didn't sleep very well.
Gem - it's typical. The day you have other things on is the day the solicitors want to talk to you. I hope the questions are easily answered and don't raise any problems. I hope it's your tooth's lucky day as well and the dentist can come up with a solution. Perhaps the library won't be too busy this afternoon and give you a chance to catch your breath. Fingers crossed everything goes ok.
Oma - I don't know who will be more excited, you or Storm! He'll love his treats. What strange weather you're having.
Nanto - I do hope you're ok after your busy day yesterday. Take care. xx

I bet Storm is excited to go to Nanna's Oma!
I hope it's nice WI morning Plant.
A quiet day is a good plan for you Daisy.
Back from the dentist. OH kindly dropped me off and waited for me, so no messing around with waiting for buses or finding parking spaces. I have another appointment for early March. She will build up this patched problem tooth as much as she can, and there are two tiny front tooth ones which she says need replacing. So back to the dentist I will go!
It's a lovely sunny morning, and a lot warmer that yesterday. No phone call from the solicitor yet.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good sunny morning everyone,it is glorious sunshine here I have not been outside as yet so it may be cold I'll test outside later.
Daisy I do hope you are feeling better today housework can wait when you don't feel 100% can't it ?
My friend D who lives in Halewood Liverpool the one who comes to stay every now & then had a bad experience last week her kitchen was being refitted by her HA and the plumber did not re-connect her washer correctly and it flooded her kitchen right through to her hall and lounge, poor D was distraught she is so house proud all the flooring is ruined and needs to be replaced the HA has promised to replace for her but not until the area's have all dried out so she has a dehumidifier for 2 weeks poor girl she was due to come and visit next week so all plans put on hold.
I was checking on our holiday for June 2022 and found it had gone down by £340 such a big drop in price it was originally booked in 2019 for June 2020 quite a big difference, but hey-ho it looks as though it may go ahead if things stay as they are.
The hissy thingy is out ready for some ironing its surprising what a sunny day does to your energy levels isn't it I was sitting in the front garden yesterday speaking to the neighbours 2 doors down I hadn't seen them since before Christmas they had been on holiday to their DDs in Isle of Man my J has relatives in IoM I have never been myself and keep promising myself I will go over it is so easy to get there as the Boat goes from the Liverpool terminal,I must get things sorted one day.
Off now to attack the ironing while I still feel inclined bye for now xxx
Keep Calm,You're Fabulous

Hallo everyone, I will be catching up on all the news! I have finished sewing the blinds, I have my doubts if they will be what they expect, but, I have made them, I am not sure the material is right for the blinds, we shall see. A lot of work though, I won't bother again, I had to sew 84 rings on, luckily using the sewing machine but still a lot of work.
The decorators are doing the outside, windows etc, they should be finished here this afternoon, they did my front door yesterday so I had to stay home until it was dry. My autistic neighbour, the one with skin cancer, won't open the door to anyone, I have to go and knock on her window and shout her name, she opens the door then.
Marian, next door, had some pattern books, one is with the blazer I fancy making for myself.
Daisy, I hope you are soon feeling better, Gem, enjoy the library today, Oma with Storm, Glamm, water is awful in the house, it will all have to be completely dry before they can do anything at all.
Plant, have a nice time at the WI and with the family.
It is dry here, foggy yet again yesterday but it is clear today, colder though as men working on the balcony told me.

Gem that’s fantastic news 😁🥰🥰
Plant although I don't eat cheese I have always wanted to go to a small dairy to see them make it ,
Did you see the GGC x
Storm is asleep in the garden , he has had lots of treats and biscuits , first thing he did was sniff his bed and toys then stand at the cupboard I keep his treats in 😁
Lizzie I bet your thankful those blinds are done . I only once made some similar years ago and it took ages ,
mind you I had never made them before so I had no idea what I was doing ,
They did turn out nice but never again 🤪
Glam the poor woman all that water she must have been so upset .
Daisy hope you have your feet up and resting ,.

Wonderful news Gemini, you must be relieved. I hope you soon hear some good news about the house.
I didn’t see my GGD1 she was asleep but I saw baby H. Her other GM who looks after her two days has Covid so she will not be going there for a bit, lets hope she isn’t going to get it in a day or so. Fortunately her parents are going to be able to look after her.
Glamm, what a dreadful thing to happen to your friend, all that damage.
I expect Storm is pleased to be back Oma.What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Oma, I am pleased the blinds are finished, we shall have to see how they hang.
I have been for a Lidl box, soooooooo difficult to get at the moment, no wonder they are popular, so much fresh fruit and veg in it, I got one the other day from another supermarket, they are ok but nothing like the Lidl ones.
Storm would know exactly where to look for his treats!
Gem, you will be pleased with the results.xxx

The house is still as lovely as it was last week. Now I just have to get a decent offer on this house and I can put an offer in on it!
Had a look at another one not far from Plant, but it just wasn't me!
Got DD to check all the paperwork for the solicitor to apply for probate for OH's will, so plan to take it to their office tomorrow morning. It'd cost a fortune to post! May have a little wander round town while I'm there, will see what I feel like.
Doggo was pleased to find some cooked chicken in my bag yesterday. He's worse than a child looking for sweeties in Granny's bag! Went to the butcher and left GS a couple of samosas, which I know he likes. Got a text thanking me! I think he grows taller everytime I see him! He and his Dad were up in Oma's neck of the woods last weekend at the Newcastle v Watford game. I think he was quite impressed by Newcastle and the stadium although they were in the seventh tier!
Good news Gem and hope your cold soon goes Daisy . Enjoy your evening ladies xxBelieve you can and you're halfway there.
