Glamm - your friend must be so upset about all that water damage. I hope the floors dry out quickly, although I suppose you can't dry them out too quickly, and they will need replacing anyway.

WeeGranny - so pleased that the house is still looking great. Everything crossed that you get a buyer quickly. I hope you don't have to wait ages for probate.

Gem - great news that your mammogram was clear.

Plant - I do hope baby H steers clear of Covid. Any news from the hospital yet for you hand?

Oma - I bet Storm sleeps well tonight after an exciting day at yours.

I've slept most of the day, and am now ready for bed again, but still sneezing for England.

Its sad and hard clearing a loved ones house out isn't it . any date on the funeral yet ?

We off to MIL's then to Sadie the Bra lady , I need some new bra's ,
I bought a couple a few weeks ago just cheap ones and they are not comfy so Im going back to Sadie , expensive but always a good fit

Her and her staff are excellent fitters .

Its a dull morning , no rain or frost just grey and dreary ,

Daisy hope you slept well and are feeling a little better .

WG you sound like me when I go to DD's the animals all come to see what Nana has in her bag

We just been in fits of giggles , we were talking about fried Chicken and I said I didn't mind home fried but I didn't like JFK well of course I meant KFC
B was in hysterics he said I don't think John F Kennedy did fried chicken

Thank you all for your comment regarding my mammogram It was a big thing for me as it marked the end of my 5 year treatment the official All Clear. I was so emotional when I told the librarian that I burst into tears. She is so sweet and luckily at that time there was only her and the cleaner, a lovely lady I knew well as she is there for my first hour each week. I did feel silly! They were very happy for me and I quickly recovered!
Still no phone call from the solicitor.

I am going to see my mum this afternoon. I will take cake. I hope she is much happier than when I visited last week.
OH kindly delivered the rest of the newsletters when I was at the library yesterday, so I don't have to do that this morning. I may colour my hair.

Good morning everyone. It's very cold and frosty here but the sun's shining, which makes everything look better.

Nanto - I hope you get everything done you need to at your FIL's this morning. Such a sad task, I know.

Gem - it was perfectly natural to feel tearful after your land-mark 5 year All Clear. No wonder you were so emotional. Big hugs. Are you going to chase the solicitor? I know timing is a worry. Everything crossed it goes through now. I'm sure your mum will be pleased to see you and cake. How kind of S to finish the deliveries for you.

Oma - have you got a recipe for your JFK chicken! It did make me smile. I wish we had a Sadie the Bra Lady near us! I'm fed up trying to find bras that fit properly.

I slept like a log last night - surprising when I'd been dozing off and on all day. I feel a bit better this morning, but by the time I'd made tea I was ready for another rest! I think I'll have to have another lazy day, but definitely over the worst.

Went to Sadies and ended up buying 3 Bra’s . Wont be able to afford to eat for a fortnight.

Dr rang wants to see me face to face next Thursday to examine me for Lymphnode lumps and discuss bloods again , he’s on holiday this week ,

MIL was in a good mood for a change .
Going to make lunch and then do nothing

Oma, I like Miss Mary of Sweden bras, also very expensive but always a good fit.

Lizzie , Sadies sell all the big brands , these are from Fantasie , I bought a white , flesh and navy ones , nice pretty and lacy ,
Because I bought 3 together she gave me a little discount but still cost a arm and a leg ,

B had a point though , he said but it’s something you wear everyday , you would pay the same for a pair of glasses you wear each day so it’s not wasted money , he was right wasn’t he 😁

I haven’t been during Pandemic as it’s a bit of a drive away so last few Bra’s have been from Supermarkets like Asda and Sainsburys , they ok but not as comfortable as a good fit .

How has the blind turned out ? Are you pleased with it .

Oma, I will know how the blind has turned out when they hang it up! It looks fine to me, but, we shall see.

I cleaned the balcony this morning after the decorators had finished, I must say that losing the weight helps me move about easier.
It was fine on that side, a bitter cold wind on the other side.

I used to get bra's from the Makro, I will see if they still have them in when I go again.

I treated myself to the Sloggi knickers, they cost me a fortune, as your B says, I have to wear those every day as well.

Got home at 3.30 today,but we have been at it since 10am.
We have all agreed to have saturday off.

The solicitor finally phoned me but it seems he doesn't actually know what the questions are!!! He is waiting to hear back from the buyers solicitors. He gave me the impression we are almost there. (Crosses fingers!!)
A lovely visit to my mum this afternoon. Totally different to last week 😊
