Good morning Nanto and all who call in later. What a pretty graphic - I don't know how you manage to find so much variety.

I've got no firm plans for today. The sun's shining so I'll try and make the most of that. There's lots to do, so I'll see how it goes.

    Love to you all. xx

      Morning ladies .
A lovely bright day but still fresh .
Bedding washed and on line , not sure if it will dry there is no breeze and as yet too cold to dry but the day looks promising so it will stay out .

Just washed outside window sills and doors noticed a lot of splash marks on patio frames from painting the fence so will have to tackle them when the sun gets around there and it's a bit warmer.
How are we all today ?
Enfys was on FB yesterday and she was telling someone P isn't feeling well , hope he's ok .

I will pop on later and see how everyone is xx

Good morning, Nan2, Daisy, Oma and anyone dropping in

Blue sky and sunshine here today.
I want to go to my mum's house to check all is OK and move post. No other plans as yet.
I spoke to the care home manager again yesterday, and all is well.

We had a lovely evening family chatting on Zoom for DD3's birthday. Lots of laughs and it did almost feel as though we had spent the evening together. DD's dad and sisters and and all OHs, plus us. We all felt better for it

        Have a good day ladies.

Oma - I do hope Enfys is ok. She must be worried about P if he's feeling poorly, and also worried about her GD who couldn't get back from Australia. I think her GD is ok and well, but she must miss her so much.

I didn't see that post from Enfys, I hope everything is okay with her OH

No plans today as usual, will probably drift through the day. I did so much cleaning last week, everywhere is still looking okay to me. Garden looking good apart from hidden areas like behind the shed. I did go into the shed yesterday looking for strawberry mats, hadn't been in there much since OH died. Found his gardening gloves were still in there. left them there.
Must have a go at tidying it up, we have a place you can take old tools, such as spades and forks. I wonder if someone would like the plastic cloches.

That sounds like a fun evening Gemini, what a good thing we have the internet.

Plant, I found several things of my dads once mum went into the care home. We took so much to charity shops after he died, but these few things she didn't want to get rid of.
Once I can visit mum I can find out if there is anything of his she wants with her. She has plenty of photos there.

Good morning, an update on our lockdown, probably in the wrong place, sorry Gem! I see the UK are doing something similiar.

As of today hairdressers etc are open, 1st June restaurants open but don't see how that will work, only so many people allowed inside. Sports such as tennis or golf are allowed. July Ist museums open, campings open etc, all with the 1,5mtr distancing. Cinema's open as well in July. In september the sport schools etc wil be opening, but, all this won't work if we go back to how we where. If at anytime the number of cases rise we will all be back to lockdown.

                    Good morning everyone.
Cold but the sun is shining.

Lizzie,we have the mobile hairdresser and i am desperate for a haircut.

Rang my sister in law yesteday, the one with lung cancer.
She's doing well.At her last scan it hadn't grown.
They changed her daily estrogen tablet, and looks like its working.
She is due for a scan in mid June, and they have told her it will go ahead.

GD1 rang last night. Her and her hubby's test results came back.
She is clear of the virus now,but its still in her hubby's system.
GD was the poorliest of them both. Her hubby felt better about a week before her,and he went back to work.
Fingers crossed it doesn't come back for him.

First job on the agenda is ironing. Then will see what follows.
                    Stay safe and well.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good morning everyone. It's a nice, bright sunny morning here, and the forecast is good for the day. I'm amazed how quickly time goes - it's Clap for Carers again - it's come round quickly for me, but I don't suppose it's the same for everyone.

Lizzie - I do hope the easing of restrictions don't lead to another surge in the virus, but at least you've got some idea of what's happening, and can make plans.

Nanto - the cake looks delicious but I think I'll have to leave it for elevenses! Great to have some good news about your SIL and your GD1. I hope her OH is soon clear of the virus as well.

I woke up with a burst of energy this morning and started to clean windows inside while the tea was brewing. I hope our window cleaner comes back soon - the outsides are covered in pollen. So are the cars and caravan, but I guess we'll have to clean those ourselves. Decisions, decisions - clean a car or do the ironing. Such joy.

I hope everyone is ok, thinking particularly of Clover, Glamm, Oma, and all those struggling with family worries or feeling poorly. xx

                        Good morning everyone
Another sunny day. I think the forecast for my part of the country is good until Sunday, when it looks a lot cooler.

Lizzie, people will be glad to get some 'normality' back. I hope the relaxing of measures doesn't bring a rise in cases. As you say, let's hope people are sensible and don't just throw caution to the wind. I think caution will be needed for some many months ahead.
Nan2, good to hear things are going well for your SIL, and that your GD is well again.
An early morning burst of energy Daisy! Have you been talking to Oma too much??

This afternoon we have our weekly supermarket collection, Sainsbury's again this week. We couldn't get a slot at the out of town one so this time it's the branch in York, near where I used to live. We may drive around a bit first, as I am missing going into town, we live in a beautiful city.
A walk is on today's agenda as well. Then a packed diary tonight! Key workers clap at 8, then a video chat with two of our best friends at 8.15.

Have a good day, and love to all who are sad or worried xx

Morning ladies Nanto good news on both SIL and GD must be a relief.

Daisy is the lock down getting to you ? Go lie down in a darkened room

Gem it's the little things we miss isn't it , just seeing other places is a bonus , hope you get everything on your order , we have a delivery from Asda on Friday already showing several items out of stock

Really angry yesterday , we have a new neighbour over road has a 12 yr old daughter no bother at all ,
Yesterday 2 cars rocked up with friends in their children and dog all to help dig over a tiny patch under her front window .
It was like a blooming garden party . No social distancing there . Kids running around and dog all mixed in

Any other time it would have been nice to see the children we have no other in our street so nice to hear them play ,

But the north east has the highest rate of Coronavirus cases at the minute , no the wonder with idiots like these . I dare say they will be back today to finish off as they did more chatting than work .

My next door neighbour text me she said if they come back today she's phoning police .

I am feeling a bit achy from the shed clear out yesterday, I am going to get the rubbish into the grey bin today. I have just ordered some fish from a Grimsby company to be delivered next week, save me asking my GD for a bit. I will let you know how I find it, there are lots of good posts recommending the company.

So annoying Oma when you see neighbours breaking the rules. I think our neighbours are behaving themselves.

Daisy, it is good when you have a burst of energy but don't let it go to your head.

Good news about your Sil, Nanto. I hope your GD's OH will be free of the virus soon.

Has anyone heard from Enfys, bit worried she hasn't posted recently.

There was a post from Enfys on FB yesterday replying to someone and she said that P wasn't too good at the moment. I'm sure when she fees up to it she'll post and let us know how things are going. Sending love if you're looking in Enfys x

OH had text this morning saying he's confined to barracks until 30th June, subject to review!

Nothing much going on here. Have ordered Sunday lunch from local pub, make a change from me cooking. Yesterday we had a lovely surprise, DD arranged for Afternoon Tea to be delivered and we had it in the garden in the sunshine.

Today the sun is shining, OH is still tackling the ivy, but he's at the dead strands which are coming off relatively easily. I've found some old packets of seeds which I'm going to sow in the border. If they come up, great, if not, well it doesn't matter. And I shall hang my Union Jack over the balcony for VE Day!

Have a good day whatever you're up to ladies and take care xx

WG, on another forum I noticed people saying they had had a text extending the date for the most vulnerable to June 30th.
what a lovely treat from your DD

Plant, don't be overdoing it and getting achy!

Oma, totally irresponsible behaviour from your neighbours We all felt guilty enough being in our back garden with DD yesterday, all maintaining the correct distance, and none of us going out to work or any other risk environments.

I noticed Enfys on FB too, I'm sure she will post here when she feels ready.
