I’ve now been 24 hours without needing pain medication, so that is good. I just don’t have energy to do anything. I can read a book but I can’t sew or do anything like that which is frustrating. At least I’m improving. It has been nice just sitting in the garden but that won’t be happening for a while with the change in weather.
Hubby has been doing all the cooking and is going to do some cleaning today, bless him. Stay safe everyone!

Oma, sometimes the crying is what we need xxx
Avo, good to hear you are improving. It's harder enough being in lockdown and missing people without being unwell too.

(Plant, pizza is now tomorrow night. Even I don't quite see the logic of it, let alone you )

        Good morning everyone.

I've got a bit behind with all the comments on Chat, so please forgive me for not commenting to everyone. I was just about to post last night when DIL2 Whats App'd me, before I could reply DIL1 Whats App'd me as well, and by the time I'd juggled the two conversations it was bedtime and my head was spinning! Nothing serious in case any one wonders - just catching up stuff.

Now this morning, we're up very late, and I haven't even had a shower yet. It's raining, so I fear I have no excuses to leave the ironing pile now!

Just a quick word to Clover - I totally agree with Gem. If you don't feel like doing much, don't. You've been so brave for so long, you're coping with grief, and the world is all upside down. You're doing fantastic, Clover. Sending love and hugs, and to our other ladies who are coping with huge sadness. xxx

Avo - I'm so pleased to see the pain has gone. I think when we feel we have no energy it's our body's way of saying "relax, I need to make myself better and I can't to that if you're flitting about doing this, that and the other".

        Stay safe, everyone. xx

            Good morning ladies .
Its raining here also and quite a drop in temperature, the summer dresses have gone back in the wardrobe and trousers and jumpers are back on !

Don't know how I am going to fill my day at the moment. I have had to do the ironing as it was getting stacked up !

            Keep safe ladies

              Oma - no worries!

Mimi - I'm finding it quite difficult to concentrate some days (like today!) and I've got a book that's got a little tiny art challenge for every day. I don't do them in sequence, I just pick one that appeals to me, but it's something different for anything from 5 minutes to half an hour, and there is a little sense of achievement which feels good. I got my book from Amazon and you don't need loads of art materials - pencils and a few coloured pens, pencils or crayons will do.

I haven't done much at home today.
But, i gave in laws kitchen a good going over, then did the living room and the hall.

What’s the name of your book Daisy? Sounds like the sort of thing I’d enjoy!

Wee Granny - I'm not sure of the exact title, and the book is in the summerhouse. It's something like 365 Days of Art - but I'll check in the morning. I enjoy it, and some of the tasks are very short and easy others can take a bit longer. I just pick and choose!

Good morning Nanto, Mickey and all who pop in later.

I think we're due for more rain later today, but everywhere is nice and fresh this morning after yesterday's constant rain. I took Eva out about 11 pm yesterday - I needed to post letters so she came to 'help'. The air was very humid and really mild. I was wishing I hadn't put a coat on! It's cooler this morning.

Enfys - I'm sorry you're not having a good week. Sending hugs and love. xx

Avo - I hope things continue to improve and your energy is starting to return - don't over do things though. xx

Clover - I hope you're being kind to yourself. xx

I had a very long chat to my DS1 last night - nearly 2 hours on the phone. We had a lot to catch up on - mainly about changing his job. It's weird leaving a place you've worked for 12 years without saying goodbye properly to anyone. He's had a lot of emails and phone calls! Plus starting a new job without actually going to it. Even more so, most of the company he's moved to is currently closed. Strange times indeed.

I hope to be a bit more productive today. Yesterday was a complete write off - I didn't feel like doing anything. Today's problem is where to start!

Love to everyone, and stay safe. xx
