Grauntie - we've got no chance of getting vegetables in the allotment - it's flooded still. OH was talking to a Plottie friend the other day, and he reckons we should get our first earlies in around August!!! I'd definitely go to the nice warm forecast in Spain.

Although still shattered DD2 came over. Beautiful sunny day. Washing on line & outside toys out in garden. GC played in the sandpit & on the slide. I have at last caught up with DD's news.

Qwerty I cleared some baby stuff out a couple of wks ago & gave it to our local Bernardos. I saw the Moses basket & stand in the window for £17. I'm glad they didn't overprice it as they sometimes do. Hoping you all enjoy whatever it is you're doing tomoro.

We had a very nice meal last night. DD3 and OH are coming for a meal tonight, nothing much planned for today otherwise. More gardening maybe. The greenhouse is now sparkling, mostly OH's work I must confess!

Well that glimpse of Spring yesterday was short lived, rained in the evening and overcast today. Opened up the sunroom and I have had a bad leak, piece of roofing felt missing. Wet chair and cushions soaking, they are in the washing machine. I will get in touch with someone on Monday, in the meantime I will put a bucket in there, it needs painting too. No damage to the curtains, he is a rascal.

Loved your pictures Qwerty, they are such gorgeous children, you are being spoilt, shame about the reflux.

Guess who had another sleepless night

Qwerty heartburn has been known to keep me awake some nights but not theses last two nights, its my over active mind...... Do bees have knees , if I kept egg boxes for a year how high would they stack, then my brain says to me...."I see you are trying to sleep so I would like to offer you a selection of every memory, unresolved issues or things you should have done today or the last 40 years ago .

A change in the weather today, its a little on the cold side and it keeps raining but the man on the radio says that from Wednesday things will improve.....We'll see !

I have a beef stew cooking in the slow cooker but that's not for lunch today, we are having garlic and herb chicken breasts . The stew will taste better when it has finished cooking ( about 4pm -6pm ) and popped in the fridge so that I can reheat it tomorrow . Apparently tomorrow OH wants to clear the patio of all my plants that are in pots hardening off before they get planted in the garden next month. There are so many to move and I have far more patience than he has, the plant are likely to get damaged if left to him. He is going to scrub the patio with a long handled patio brush . ( why use the pressure washer when you can do it with a long handled broom thus taking twice as long , men ! )

Qwerty I haven't see the pics yet but I will be popping to see the later .
