Too much yummy food being talked about atm. I had an omelette and green veg yesterday for dinner. I am hoping to go to bowls today if the engineer from the Insurance company comes this morning as arranged. Tomorrow a friend and neighbour is taking me to the hospital to pick up my prescription and Wed is WI so will try to find a lift to get there.

Lovely day here. I wish I had time for gardening but I have many other tasks and we collect the older GCs from school today. I will have my very own 8 year old Gerald Durrell here, last time he came I learned so much about centipedes! Did you know they are carnivores? Neither did I but I do now. 😆

Morning ladies well I brought you sunshine on my birthday whats better than that on my birthday, up again with heartburn too many lovely meals and out again with my friends today this has to stop ✋
Had s lovely meal and birthday cake at DD yesterday but I always forget to take a photo 😫
Day off housework today, going to have a bubbly bath with my Lush bomb from eldest g/ d , I am wearing jim jams and waterfall dressing jacket not gown DD bought me so feel very loved
Dil has got to know twins are going to the school of their choice which is good news but another step nearer to September 😢

Plant hope the chap comes this morning and you can get things started such a nuisance without the car but it will be back sooner than you think

I just knocked a whole mug of black coffee from the coffee table onto the pale green rug!! I suppose I should be glad it wasn't the new carpet. I put old towels under the rug to saved it from getting through. It is all soaking into paper towels now, then I must sort out cleaning it.

OH not too well today, bit of a bad tummy and temperatures during the night, hopefully nothing much, so she is in bed and didn't witness my clumsiness

Gem you could kick yourself when you spill something like that. Usually I’m just settling down for a coffee break or meal and then have to chase round trying to repair the damage. Hope your rug recovers

Well what a morning ! OH has been cleaning the patio ready for the patio furniture to go back out side after sitting in the shed over winter. I thought I would be good and get that hot, flat hissy thing and do some ironing . It was all going well until I started to iron OH's Newcastle United polo shirt, his favourite one, the one he brought while we were in Newcastle a few years ago . The hot, flat ,hissy thing burnt the polo top and I noticed that the hot hissy thing had caught fire . As I was near the window I was able to hand it to OH , saving carrying through to the kitchen and out through the back door . It was shock I can tell you but it just proves what I have always suspected ironing can be extremely dangerous so ladies be careful !
