Plant.....it was a flying visit, but I did wave as I went past!
Daisy......they're renting a lovely little bungalow until something turns up. Got it for 6 months then on a monthly basis. Huge garden with an orchard at the end and too many gaps for Pip to escape through!5 minutes walk from GS's new secondary school!
I've cleaned kitchen blind and windows and got some more boxes emptied. Where did all that stuff come from? Daisy I'm not sure if I've got more room or not! Kitchen looks bigger, but the cupboards/drawers are organised differently and we've moved some things round a bit. I'll get there...eventually!
Lovely sunny day here, got washing out and dried. Stripped bed,did some hoovering...in need of a lie down now. Hope I don't fall asleep at yoga!
Wonder where Oma's been whisked off to ?
Mimi, I always knew those things were a danger to humans!
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Well I'm in Derbyshire in a lovely hotel by the River Trent called Priest House hotel . It' lovely 😊
spent a couple hours in Richmond on the way down then called into a designer outlet and bought some shoes and a fleece from Mountain warehouse to go under my new coat when it' cold .Just had a lovely meal and a bubble bath as we don' have a bath at home it' a luxury 😊
Tomorrow we going 30 min up the road to the Arberatum (sp ) for a few hours then to a marina where we have been before that has lovely shops .xxx
Oma - how a lovely surprise, and just in time for (hopefully) some proper warm spring weather.
Grauntie - what have you learned about today from mini-Gerald Durrell?
Gem - I hope the coffee stain has come out ok. Did you get your minutes finished?
Mimi - letting the flat hissy thing go on fire was a drastic way to get out of doing the ironing! Seriously, I'm glad you weren't hurt, even though poor OH has lost his special t-shirt.
Wee Granny - I'm sure everything will work out well with the cupboards, even if you do have trouble finding the cheese grater or dinner plates for a while. It's hard trying to find the right house when you are in a 'must move' situation. I assume your DD & Co have to find somewhere in the catchment area for the school GS will be going to.
Qwerty - I hope you're still enjoying your birthday treats and presents. All good practice for the Big One next year! Pleased to hear the twins have got places at the first choice school.
GD2 has also got the choice of school her mum and dad asked for. They are only in the catchment area for one Infant/Primary school, so they didn't put down any other preferences. It's the Infant school GD1 went to, but although the Infant and the Junior school are on the same site, they are totally separate entities, so they didn't have any advantages of sibling at the school as GD1 is now a 'Junior'. So it was a bit of a relief to hear GD2 has a place!
Libra - it only takes one person wanting to buy!! That's a quick first viewing is the board has only just gone up.

Sorry, but there's too much for me to comment on individual posts again. Oma enjoy your well deserved break. Qwerty I'm really glad your b-day celebrations went well. My 4yr old GS got the school his parents wanted too, (next to their house).
Off to Docs tomoro to have a mole on my leg checked. Best safe than sorry.😉

Oma, that all sounds lovely, enjoy your break
Hopefully they will reassure you about the mole Nana.
I hope you are feeling strong for your busy Tuesday Daisy!
And you Qwerty!
Bon Voyage Nan2!
I wonder where Enfys is??
Schools go back today, so I have free time until I collect GS1 from school.
OH, who spent most of yesterday in bed, seems recovered today! Enough so to plan to play golf. I would prefer she rested a 2nd day, but I think she is determined!
Have a good day everyone.

They are coming from the local garage to collect my car this morning so that is why I am up and dressed. Very dull here atm, a friend and neighbour is taking me to the hospital to collect a prescription, nothing else planned although I think I am kitten minding later, he led me a merry dance yesterday, kept going behind the television and playing with the wires.
Hope all is well with Enfys
You are very sensible Nana to have the mole checked
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
Gem, it’s amazing how speedy the recovery is when there is golf to be played.😆
We won’t leave until after lunch, DD1 is taking us to the airport which is all of 15 mins away. I suppose I had better move from this chair and do something.🙄

I’ve been looking but didn’t feel up to posting, thanks for your concern. All is ok, I’ve just had a few bad days, due in some respect to a thoughtless remark made by a friend. Don’t want to go,into details and she did apologise afterwards but it just got me down a bit. It was to do with DHs problems.
Otherwise all is ok. He had his prostate check up yesterday and all is good. He is back in th care of our GP with 6 monthly blood tests and the hormone therapy treatment. Very relieved.
Went to,get my haircut this morning but we had our wires crossed. She had put me down for yesterday butI always have it done in a Tueesday so knew that wasn’t right. Didn’t say much and she has had illness herself, plus the loss of her father so has been through a lot lately. So I’m having it done next week instead. Had a walk in the sunshine across the park and back somthats my exercise for the day.
