As with everyone else my thoughts are with Libra since she told us her news.

Went with OH to hospital yesterday & it was confirmed that he has Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both wrists. He's to wear small splints when he sleeps for about 6wks. I shouldn't but had to smile at the sight of him last night...sleep apnea mask & splinted up. 🤣

Pouring it down here. Nothing planned.

Good moaning each. We went out bopping again last night so I am weary today. It was a fund raiser for our local blind home charity and a jolly good do it was too. I won a raffle prize! A basket of all sorts of edibles and drinkables. 😁 Another ‘fat’day here then...

Nana, I didn’t organise. I was just a willing participant. 😁 We went on the train with friends, 3 stops and then couldn’t open the flippin’ doors to get out! By the time we realised we were trying to get out on the wrong side the train had moved off again. We were helpless with laughter. Luckily the train going back was at the next station so we weren’t late.
I am going to hide the chocolate from myself....

GM - I love a good bop!!! It sounds like a great night out, and as a GRU you're bound to get in a mess with trains - it's almost compulsory!!!

Nana - I hope OH can get the Carpel Tunnel syndrome sorted out. I remember my DIL1 having it in her first pregnancy and it was very painful. She had surgery to fix it.

Gem, good luck with helping your mum to choose the right fire. Your poor OH will have forgotten which end of the golf club to hold at this rate - it's been a dreadful winter.

Enfys - hope the dentist is just a check up. If we're talking about the same garden centre - I love it and the food is really good. I think OH just can't be bothered - I never knew there were people who couldn't be bothered with cake!

Clover - I hope G gets his new hairstyle today! I used to do my OH's (there's not much of it) and he used to grumble like mad. Now his friend who's a retired ladies' hairdresser does it and he's always pleased with it and doesn't grumble at all!! Is the Lakeland grout cleaner good?

Qwerty - as Oma says you can get too busy to notice you're hungry, and then I often 'go past' it and don't fancy anything. It's such a pity this is never reflected in my waistline!! I'm sure your neighbour will be pleased to see you and the flowers are a very thoughtful touch.

I'm sorry so many of you have got rain today. It's lovely here, and I've just done a bit of pottering in the garden. The vents on the greenhouse have opened which means it must be at least 23C in there, so I might to some seed sowing this afternoon.

Oma - I'm glad you've had chance to talk to LG. I keep thinking about her.

Dentist check up went well, thanks Daisy. Good for me anyway and DH needed a small filling which she did there and then so no going back. DH is a happy boy, he has wanted to get a dash cam for ages so that’s what he did this morning. He will,be playing with it all afternoon 🙂

Daisy, yes it must be the same garden centre, near the Christchurch bypass? We’ve had lunch there too and very nice it was.

Enfys we have had a Dash cam for a couple of years , So many idiots on the road at least you can prove if you have a bump and its not your fault ,

Nanto - doesn't the gravy make the bread soggy - or am I missing something? (I don't like meat on sandwiches, so it's not something I've ever ordered).

A dash cam seems a good idea - provided the bump isn't my fault! It would have been handy for my OH a couple of years ago when he pulled carefully out of a turning on a bend and was hit by a driver on the main road who was speeding and using her phone, but it was OH's 'fault' because he was the one turning onto the main road!
